In The End

I was excited. This was my last day of being a junior and it was also my birthday! Yay! All I needed to do was go into the school get my report card and leave. But first I needed to get up without the guys noticing since they wanna do something big for my birthday…I don’t do big. It’s bad enough when they cook for me, I just feel so awkward. Eah.
I felt my heavy eyelids close shut for a few seconds which turned into hours. The next thing I remembered was feeling like a million pounds landing on me. My eyes flew open as all the air escaped my lungs.
“fucking…cocksuckers…I can’t…br..breathe…” I wheezed out slapping someone.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS!” the guys screamed and I could have sworn that CC ruptured my eardrum since his mouth was right in my ear. My eyes flickered upwards and over to my door where Sammi and Jinxx were hugging. I mouthed ‘Help me’ to them but my brother shook his head and Sammi just laughed.
I looked at the four idiots laying on top of me and screamed. “GET THE FUCK OFF ME YOU FUCKING COCKSUCKERS!” My brother erupted into a laughing fit where he fell to the floor and began to hit it. I began to laugh along with him seeing the faces the guys made as they got off my bed looking hurt.
“Thank you for getting off me.” I said smiling. They looked sad and that made me sad. I ran over to them and jumped into Andy’s arms. “And Thank you guys. I’ve only been awake for 5 minutes and I’ve already had the best day ever! Now hug me God Damn it!” I yelled out smiling. I felt their embrace wrap around me like a warm blanket of warmth and fuzz. With unicorns and rainbows in the background. Yeah I was being sappy. Suck my dick.
I was let down on the ground and passed around to everyone where I was given hugs and kisses from everyone. It was going to be a fun day.
“Come on guys. We have to let the birthday girl get dressed. Then we can bother her until she goes to school. You need to be there for 11 right?” Jacob asked smiling at me.
“Yeah she does Jake. Sammi will you help her get ready?” my brother asked knowing something was up. I looked at him funny but he just turned around, pushing CC, Ashley, Jake and Andy out of the room with him.
“So Abby are you excited for your birthday?” Sammi asked pulling a suitcase out from under the closet and placing it on my bed. I stood up nodding softly before grabbing the doorknob to the bathroom next to my room.
“Yeah. It’s so exciting already and it’s only 8:15 ya know?” I said undressing in the shower and turning the water on low so that I could still hear her. I could hear her go through my drawers and place things in the suitcase, so I hurried along through my shower and wrapped myself in a towel. Walking back into my room at that moment might have not been a good thing but I needed to stop her before…”
Sammi let out a blood curling scream as I rushed into my room, she held up a box of old blades and blood covered clothing items. I felt my stomach drop and I swiped them and threw them in the closet all except for the box of blades since that would suck if I bent down to pick them up and got another through my foot.
I bent over to pick up my jeans I had pulled off the night before and the door opened to reveal my brother’s head in my door and at that moment when he opened his mouth my towel fell off of my body.
“Is everyone okay? I heard-“ He said before looking at me. I felt my lime green towel slip off of me onto the floor and he began to freak out. My eyes widened and heat flushed my face.
“Nani?” I asked as he turned bright red along with Sammi. She bent down and handed me my towel before turning around to push Jinxx out of the room.
“I’m sorry Abby.” She turned to face me and I waved her off.
“Don’t worry. That wasn’t the worst thing that happened. Trust me.” I answered pulling on men’s boxers and a black and red paint splattered bra. I turned to face her since she had packed my clothes but she held a black box in her hand before giving it to me.
“It’s a present from me. I want you to wear it today. Even if it’s just for a little bit.” She said smiling and I took the lid off to reveal black skinny jeans, a blood red shirt that said “Jinxx’s little Ferguson” that looked like black blood was dripping from each letter. It had the guys signatures and messages. It also came with a pair of red vans, a pentagram necklace and bracelets. I gave her a hug really quick before slipping on the clothes and tying my shoes.
“Thank you so much Sammi-chan!” I cried out hugging her tightly. I loved my new outfit and felt like a princess.
“Let’s head downstairs since you’ll need breakfast and we all have surprise for you.” I nodded feeling the weight of the world slip off my shoulders. I felt free and I felt like I was flying. I turned to face Sammi who was looking at my covered up thighs with all the scars and fresher scratches and I shook my head.
“Don’t worry those are just old scars. Shall we go?” I asked smiling at her softly. Not wanting to wait for her answer, I grabbed her hand and pulled her down the steps and into the living room, where I saw Andy grinning with a pile of presents behind him and CC covered from head to toe in flour looking very happy.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” They cried out again and I began to tear up. This was the best birthday ever! I cracked a grin and felt Jake hugging me. I had told the guys a week before that I didn’t want a sweet sixteen I just wanted it to be us. This family, the one who had been here for me.
Andy cleared his throat and stood up quickly, I watched as he pulled down his shirt and ran a hand through his hair. “People, I have a big announcement…” He said calmly and I butted in before he could finish.
“That this man-,” I pointed to Ashley, “is Gay AND European?” Jinxx and Jake knew where this was going so they gasped loudly and began to sing it.
“you've got to stop your being a completely closet case.No matter what he say.I swear he never ever ever swing the other way. You are so gay. You big parfait! You flaming boy band cabaret..” They sang out happily and Ashley butted in.
“I’m straight.” He said pouting and CC jumped in
“You were not yesterday. So if I may, I'm proud to say, He's gay!”
“And European!” Sammi Chimed in causing me to laugh. I loved this this family.
“Ok I’m sorry Ash. Were finished now. Andy continue.” I said giggling. Yes I giggled get over it. I fell onto the sofa coincidentally onto Jinxx and Jake who just smirked looking at each other. I got comfy on the two children before turning my head to look at Andy who was slightly pouting.
“Fine. The surprise is We are adopting you and We are moving to LA.” He said before I started freaking out. My eyes had widened and I was jumping up and down like a freak. I was smiling and screaming loudly.
“Is she okay?” Andy asked looking at me. I was jumping up and down super excited. My heart felt like it was going to explode. I jumped into Andy’s arms and hugged him tightly.
“Fuck yes! Gods this is the best thing ever!” I yelled out. He returned the hug softly. I was put down on the ground and I had the biggest smile on my face. My cheeks began to hurt from the smile that stayed on them. But I didn’t care.
“I’ll be right back! Don’t start without me!” CC yelled and sprinted up the stairs to his room. I waved at him. And he stuck his tongue out at me. I giggled softly then turned to guys. Ash and Sammi were arguing about something I didn’t quite catch but heck it was funny. I could have sworn Sammi was going to rip out Ashley’s hair and Ash was going to slap her. Jinxx was sitting happily in a chair with a little book in his hands. Jake was sitting next to Andy watching the Batman freak draw something. It made me happy to see them as like a normal family.
I walked over to my brother and sat on his lap. I shifted around trying to get comfortable which made him look at me.
“Why hello Abby.” He said closing his book carefully dog tagging the page. I grinned at him, a goofy little grin.
“Why hello Jinxxy. What are in the boxes?” I asked looking him dead in the eyes with a cocky little smirk on my face. He chuckled softly as CC fell down the steps and jumped to his feet.
“I’m here! We can start now!” He yelled and The once flower covered man picked me up and dropped me onto Jake’s lap. He made a small ‘Oof’ing sound which made me jump to my feet. Yet Jake wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me down halfway on him and the other half on the couch.
“Sorry Jake.” I said softly looking at my jeans. He hugged me.
“Don’t worry about it.” He said and I felt my heart speed up. He smiled at me and I smiled back. He kissed my forehead, and Jinxx cleared his throat.
“Jake that is my little sister…” I giggled. Jake just smiled. It was funny.
“We didn’t do anything Jeremy.” I said using his real name. He frowned at me and I gave him a big goofy smile.
“Well make sure that stays like that.” He hissed at us causing the rest of them to start laughing. Sammi sat on my brother’s lap and kissed his head. She whispered something and he just shook his head.
“Can I open these?” I asked looking at the pile of gold and balloon gift wrapped presents. I wanted to rip the paper apart and play with it so bad! It was just so tempting. I picked up a box and started fiddling with the ribbon on it. I looked at the tag reading it aloud.
“From Sammi Doll. I love you girl. Stay Strong.” I felt my heart rise. She knew about the self-harming when I was first there when mum and dad died. We didn’t even have anything of them to bury for the funeral. It sucked. Dani even came home from collage to go to the funeral. Oh well.
“Yes you can. Now not that one.” Jinxx said and Sammi slapped him. I smiled soflty.
“You can open that one Abby.” She said
“Okay. I will!” I chimed out. It was an averagey sized box. I took the ribbon off then ripped the paper to shreds. When I finished shredding the paper I looked at the actual gift and I began to freak out. “Oh My Fucking God!” I yelled jumping to my feet and hugging her. She had gotten me My Chemical Romance cds, three MCR shirts, more colored pencils, and a sketchbook with a fairy on it.
“You like it?” She asked.
“Like it? I love it!” I hugged her tightly and pranced around with the one shirt wrapped around my neck like a cape. I sat on the couch placing my things off to the side and grabbed the next box next to me. I opened it to see a box, I opened the box to reveal a pair of black cowboy boots. I hugged ash tightly and he ruffled my hair.
The third present was from Dani, it was a five pound bag of red gummy worms, 75 dollar chawks, “We are rebels” tee shirt, Four heavy duty sketch books, a $150 dollar visa gift card, and 6 big packs of beef jerky and last but not least, Tobi is a Good Boy boxers, along with “You Do Not Know Pein boxers.I smirked holding up everything.
I got a bunch of Batman stuff from Andy. Jinxx gave me books and band tees of all my favorite bands. Jake got me some old fashioned jewelry that was really cool looking. I smiled hugging each of them and then I saw the last box. It was smaller than the rest of them.
“What’s this?” I asked holding it up. I gave it a shake. It rattled in the box so I opened it. My jaw dropped to the floor as I took the Samsung phone out of the box. It wasn’t the phone that made me stop, it was the case. It was the day I went to stay with them. It was of all 7 of us squished together, smiling at the camera. I felt my eyes tear up and I hugged each one of them.
“Do you like it?” Jake asked and I nodded.
“It’s amazing.”
“We also programed a bunch of your favorite bands on their so you have something to listen to for the assembly today. We figured you’d get bored.” He said and I smiled. This was amazing. I looked at the clock and it read; 10:45.
“Shit! I’m gonna be late!” I yelled and Jinxx jumped up grabbing his car keys. We ran to his car and gunned the gas. I ran from the car two minutes before the bell rang and ran into the auditorium. I took a deep breath as I ran to the stage and sat on the edge to catch my breathe. We sat in the auditorium for about three hours. I listened to music and had some fun doodling on scraps of paper that were thrown at me.
Abby you did it, I told myself. You survived. I said as I took my report card from my teacher and walked calmly out of the building to Jinxx who smiled.
“Were you late?” He asked smirking. I shook my head opening the envelope and reading my grades out loud.

“Nice job Abby!” Jinxx said giving me a hug. I hugged him back tightly.
“Are we going home?” I asked and he shook his head.
“Nope. Airport time! Don’t worry everything is packed up and already gone at the LA house so don’t worry.” He said taking my hand. I nodded squeezing his hand as we drove to the airport.
“Okay Cool!” I replied putting in a BVB cd and began to sing along with it as we drove.
Soon we were at the airport, We went through security pretty easily, got on the plane and within a few minutes I had fallen asleep on Andy’s shoulder and clutching Jinxx’s hand from across the aisle. I had stayed asleep for the home 4 hour plane ride. It was nice to sleep.
I was shaken awake by Andy around the end of the flight. I shook him off with a glare and closed my eyes again. Next thing I know I’m being thrown over Andy’s shoulder and carried off the plane. I was given a whole bunch of looks but I just gave a sleepy glare and flipped them off.
“Andy,” I whined out loudly. “Put me down!” I hit his back sleepily as the five members of Black Veil Brides walked toward the baggage claim and they grabbed 5 out of 6 suitcases. I waved at the people that pointed at us and came up to us to say hi. There were actually a few people who came up to us and gave the guys and me hugs and took pictures with us so that was really cool. I was slowly waking up and was happy for once. 0
Ashley had gotten his suit case courtesy of Jinxx whom ended up snatching it before a security guard took it. I snickered softly from Andy’s shoulder as a girl no older than my age brought her foot up and kicked Ashley where no man should want to be kicked when he tried to kiss her on the cheek. I smiled at her and she smiled back.
“Hey Andy can you let me down?” I asked him softly and he nodded letting me stand on my own two feet. “Thanks dude.” I said walking over to the girl. She had these really cool earrings in that were inverted crosses and she had dark blue hair that was teased. She really looked hot, what? Is the Pansexual person not allowed to have some fun?
I walked over to her, smiling a warming smile, and took her hand and gave it a shake. Her hand fit directly into mine and it was slightly warm. I looked over her quickly but carefully. She wore a Black Veil Brides shirt with short shorts and converse. Along with several bracelets that lay around her wrists.
“Sorry about Ashley dude. He’s a big pervert. My name’s Abby. ” I said scratching the back of my head nervously. She was really pretty but the look in her eyes when she smiled made me wanna cry. Her eyes were fogged over from a medication and she looked like a broken china doll.
“Oh that’s no problem actually. I’m used to it.” She said with a soft smile grazing her lips and then it faded quickly. I wanted to bring her out with us to apologies. So here goes nothing.
“Umm. My brother, Jeremy and his friends were gonna take me out for my birthday tonight. Would you like to come with?” I asked looking at my shoes it was like 11:am since when we got on the plane in Pa it was 3. So yeah.
“I’d love to but I don’t mean to impose. I just have to ask my parents.” She said with a softly smile grazing her plump pinkish lips. I flashed 1000 watt smile at her and walked over to her parents that were talking on the phone.
“Excuse me mum, but can I spend the name with my new friend today? It’s her birthday.” She asked softly looking at her mother. I had never hear someone talk so softly before. It made me worried.
“Yes Karly, Just have her brother call your father and I when they get tired of you fat ugly ass. And take your bag with you. I’m not taking it with us to the hotel, you ungrateful whore.” Her mother snapped harshly. Karly flinched at her mother’s harshness and I pulled her behind me. I stood tall at my full 5’10” inch height and growled. Jinxx and the guys ran over quickly.
“Don’t ever talk to your fucking daughter like that. I don’t care if you are older than me bitch, Karly is more of a woman than you will ever be!” I snapped back at the 39 year old woman. I saw black fade in my vision as my cheek began to burn and I realized what happen. The skank just slapped me. I cocked my fist back and swung knocking the glasses off the woman and having her fat ass to the ground.
“You are not fit to be a mother. You are worthless scum. You should be ashamed.” I spit on her and I took Karly’s hand pulling her over to the guys. She gripped my hand tightly and I smiled at her to see tears streaming down her face.
“Don’t cry please. I’m sorry for saying that. I really am.” I said wiping her tears away and hugged her tightly. She returned the hug lightly and I held onto her hand as Jake took her suitcase from her parents. She giggles softly.
“No I’m just so happy someone stood up for me. She’s a real bitch and you never said you knew Black Veil Brides.” She said gripping my hand tightly. I shrugged my shoulders making my hair bounce as we walked out of the airport. The BVB van was waiting outside and we had gained a respectable number of fans that gathered around the van.
“Ha ha ha. Jinxx I just found out a month ago is my step-brother actually and today’s my first birthday with them. It’s been an interesting day so far.” I replied opening the one van door instinctually for her but CC ran faster and jumped in with his tongue sticking out at me. “Asshole” I muttered under my breathe causing Karly to laugh loudly.
“Nice.” She said as I helped her into the van and I nodded squeezing her between myself and CC. I don’t think she minded actually. She kept a tight grip on my hand and still managed to shake hands with everyone and introduce herself. She’s awesome.
“So Karly, Where should we go besides the house to unpack and put our stuff away?” Andy asked from the front seat and Ashley turned to face us. He had a smirk on his face which made me want to smack him. I glared at Ashley while Karly brought a finger up to her lips and paused.
“Can we go roller skating?” She asked and Jinxx nodded. I grinned at her happily. I looked out the window to see a beautiful rocky mountain side. There were rocks pointing out in every direction from the actual structure and they were all very pointy.
“Hell Yeah!” Andy replied throwing his fists up in the air. The car swerved badly and my friend and I screamed loudly.
“Andy! Wheel!” Jinxx yelled loudly.
Everyone began to yell at that point. It was so frightening. The car spun and we got rear ended by a truck. I leaped forward out of my seat and pushed my brother away from the window as Ashley covered his head with his hands. Fucks We’re going to die.
It happened in so motion. I saw CC hug Karly tightly. Jinxx and Jake hid each other’s heads and Andy leaned in covering Ashley. I had pushed them away from the window yet my body I left next to the window. I turned my head to see a large rock needle thing go through the window. I blinked before I felt the rock thing pierce through my body. I looked down to see blood stain my shirt and I stood still trying to keep my breathing in check. Then time hit full speed again.
The guys sat back up and looked around in shock. I smiled softly, as I was able to protect everyone. Karly looked my way and let out a blood curling scream., she pointed my way and I looked down at the piece of rock that stuck in my chest. It was quite large for coming from the side of a mountain. Then I felt all the pain as everyone looked my way.
“Fuck!” I yelled out pushing against the window with all my might, but still the thing stuck in my chest like a knife in the back.
“Abby! Fuck! How did this happen?” Andy said getting out of the car and crawling into the back seat.
“When we hit the side of a mountain moron!” I snapped not feeling well. Well by now my shirt was an even darker red than it was before and I sighed.
“Fuck, I’m so sorry!” Andy cried out with tears in his voice. I wanted to give him a hug and tell him I was going to be fine but yet I didn’t even believe my words. I can’t heal open wounds. Hell the only thing I can heal is broken bones.
“Don’t. Just fucken get this out of me.” I growled as hands enveloped me. My head began to pound and I hated the pain I was feeling. I was pulled back and again until I was freed from it. I took a deep breathe and let myself fall into my brother’s grip. I looked up into his eyes and smiled softly.
“I love you. Don’t let me die.” I said and felt my eyes shut and the world grew dark around me. I heard a scream in the background and someone angry yell, “Stay with me! Jake do something!”
I love you. I thought. I love you all.
