"Now we have the author Jade Westtower, joining us out on the plaza," the stand in newscaster said into her microphone as she and Jade were alerted to the fact they were live. "So Jade, you're embarking on a book tour across the nation, and have already dealt with a hater. What do you think will happen next?"

"Um, well I hope the bus doesn't break down," Jade laughed, "really though, I don't know whats going to happen next, all I know is when I'm scheduled to be places. But things happen all the time to cause problems, I can only hope that I get to meet all the fans who want to meet me."

"And now back to this hater. What was going through your mind as it occured?"

"At first I thought it was a joke to be honest, then I started to get irritated that the man thought so lowly of me just because he doesn't like the content of my book."

"And you threw a bible at him," the woman said, her tone indicating she thought she could get me to say something to cause a scandal.

"I merely returned it to him in the same method he used to try and give it to me," Jade responded coolly, defending her actions before nearly screaming in shock as someone lifted her up, trapping her in a pair of strong arms, and spun around several times.

Once she was set down she spun, ready to punch whoever just scared her, only to come face to chest with Ashley Purdy again.

"Hey Jade," he greeted warmly, smiling down at her.

"Hi?" Jade responded, giving him an odd look. She wanted to know why he felt the need to do that, and also why he seemed so determined to get her to smile. While in the greenroom he had been cracking odd jokes, seemingly with the same intention.

"Ah, Mr. Purdy, tell us, what do you think of Miss Westtower's book," the newscaster said, seeming to start grasping at straws to cause some kind of drama.

"I couldn't put it down, it's the perfect mix of psychological thriller and murder mystery with just a touch of factual history," Ashley said as he wrapped his arms around Jade's shoulders. As he was talking the rest of the Black Veil Brides came over, and each gave their opinion of Jade's book.

"And Miss Westtower, what is your opinion of the music made by the black veil brides," the woman asked, looking defeated when she failed to cause any sort of drama that could potentially make her famous/infamous.

"I love it, their music is just so awe inspiring and I am beyond shocked that any of them have read my book," Jade answered.

"Mine," CC suddenly yelled, lifting Jade from Ashley's arms and running around with her. Remembering that this was national television Jade bit her tongue until she knew she could speak without swearing.

"Um, why?" she asked CC as he finally put her down.

"Why not?" he retorted before turning to sign something for a fan.

"Um, Miss Westtower," Jade heard, turning to the crowd of people, she saw a young girl holding a copy of her book.

"Will you sign this please?" the girl asked, leaning closer and holding out a pen as well.

"Of course sweetie," Jade said stepping close and taking the pen from the little girl and opening the book. "What's your name?" she asked holding the pen to the blank page of the book.

"It's Alexa, A-L-E-X-A," the girl said, staring in shock as Jade wrote her name down.

"To Alexa, thank you for reading my book, Jade Westtower," Jade said, letting the girl know what had been written. Before she could say anything more she was once again lifted and carried around by CC. Who was now being chased by Ashley who was yelling that he wanted Jade back.

"You do realize you two sound like children fighting over a shiny new toy right," Jade teased.
