You've read my book??? (On HIATUS)
Um Hi?
'I'm in the elevator, alone, with Ashley freaking Purdy,' Jade thought to herself, mentally reminding herself to stay calm.
"You alright?" she heard from the man next to her.
"Huh?" she questioned, her face showing her confusion, 'smooth, real smooth Jade,' she thought to herself.
"You alright?" Ashley repeated.
"Oh, yes, yes I'm fine," Jade said. "Probably going to get in trouble for who I dealt with that but I'm okay."
"If it helps, I thought your reaction was perfectly reasonable," he said, looking down at her. "You're Jade Westtower, right?"
"Y-yeah," Jade replied, slightly shocked that the bassist for her favorite band knew her name.
"We've all read your book, it's shocking that someone so innocent looking wrote it," he said, taking on a teasing tone at the end of his statement.
"You're not the first to say that," Jade said lamely, turning to stare up at the numbered lights, waiting for the elevator to get to her floor.
As she stepped out she heard Ashley call out to her, "see you tomorrow I guess," for a moment Jade was confused until she remembered that tomorrow both she and the Black Veil Brides would be making an appearance on The Today Show.
