The girl across the hall

Arielle wipes a bit of sweat from her forehead as she plops the huge pumpkin down on the counter. Andy's band had a show tonight so she was alone to hand out candy. Neither of them wanted to leave a bowl since Andy was that kid that would take the whole bowl, along with the physical bowl so Arielle had to stay home and miss Andy's first show featuring songs off the new record. She hadn't ever been to one of his shows before and the next one that they were playing that Arielle would be able to attend is in December, the tour kick off date. Arielle sighs as she gets out a knife, cutting off the top of the large pumpkin. Andy walks out of their room after hearing Arielle grunt a few times while moving the pumpkin. Arielle looks up from the pumpkin to her boyfriend who is currently dawning a full-on batman suit. She holds back giggles as Arielle lifts her pumpkin gut covered hands from inside the orange vegetable. "Well don't you look... Dashing?"
"You look sexy honey." Andy smirks, coming up behind the writer who's tulle skirt and over the shoulder neon crop top pairs with her teased high side ponytail makes her 80's themed look work perfectly. His hands rest on her hips as she scoops out a handful of pumpkin seeds along with the orange goop. She leans into his grasp and places a kiss on his neck.

"What do you want to dress our kids up as on their first Halloween?" Andy whispers, trailing his fingers over her stomach. Arielle raises her eyebrows, "uh, Andy we kind of have to have kids first."
"I know." Andy shrugs, "But I really can't wait until we have kids together. They will definitely be the most adorable children on the planet. Then when I can rest my hands on your growing baby bump and not be looked at weird for touching my girlfriend in public."
"Sorry babe but we are not having kids until we are married." Arielle chuckles, dropping the gooey substance in her hands into a bowl before going in again. Andy laughs and pecks her cheek quickly.

"So are you really wearing that on stage?" She giggles, dropping the last scoop of pumpkin guts into the bowl. Next she picks up the knife and begins to cut out the eyes, looking to Andy expectantly. He nods, "yep, and we need to take a picture before I go."
"I wish I could watch you preform." She sighs, rinsing off her messy hands in the sink. Andy lifts the pumpkin off the counter and places it at the front door, lighting the tea candle with his cigarette lighter then places the stem back on the pumpkin.

Arielle sighs as they kiss goodbye quickly and Andy rushes out of their apartment just as a few trick-or-treaters arrive. There are quite a few kids in their building and the ones surrounding them as well.

"Twick or tweat." A girl about 5 or 6 whispers when Arielle opens the door. She is clutching on to her mom's hand and her fairy costume is hanging on the ground. Arielle gives her a handful of candy and the girl bursts into an excited smile, "thank you!"
As the girl rushes over to Delaney's door her mother stays behind, glancing at Arielle. "Do you have any kids? We just moved in here and Olivia wants someone to play with..."
"No... Not yet at least... My boyfriend and I were actually just talking about having kids someday." She smiles, looking over at Delaney and Jack who are giving the girl some candy.
"Well, just remember to keep baby gates on your door." The woman laughs, following her child in the elevator after a teenager and a younger sibling walk out. Arielle smirks as she takes in the girl's warpaint that is themed exactly like Andy's. The girl looks up at Arielle and gasps, covering her hands over her mouth. "You're- you're Arielle Dawson?"
"Ya, I'm guessing you're a fan of black veil brides?" Arielle laughs, handing her some candy. The girl nods enthusiastically, "Andy's lyrics stopped me from self harming..."
"I wish he was here because he would love to meet you..." She sighs, "wait- I think he might have some stickers or something his parents give away to fans that write letters... You can come in if you want while I get them?"
The girl follows Arielle inside, taking in the decorated apartment in awe. While Arielle goes through some drawers to try to find the stickers her phone buzzes, revealing that Andy had sent her a text with a selfie of him with two stripes of warpaint under his eyes:

Andy: <3 love you, I wish you were here. How are the trick-or-treaters?

Arielle finally finds the stickers and walks out of the bedroom after typing a text to Andy:

Arielle: they're sweet... There's a girl dressed up as you ;)

As she walks out to the main room of the apartment, Arielle finds the girl standing near the door nervously, looking out of place. She hands the girl the stickers and asks, "can I get a picture to send Andy?"
"Y-yes!" The girl exclaims, a wide smile on her face as Arielle takes a selfie of the two of them, then texts it to Andy who responds almost immediately.

Andy: aww! That's awesome! Tell her she did a great job on her makeup and I wish I could be there to say hi.

Arielle lets the girl read the text before sending her off to the apartment across the hall where Jack answers and she begins to freak out.

Andy texts her again a few seconds after the girl got in the elevator to go down to the next floor:

Andy: so... Can we do something later tonight ;) maybe something to do with what I am wearing?

Arielle: you want congratulatory love making about you playing your first show with songs from your album on it I'm guessing? I'll have to think about that... ;)

Andy: maybe some batman on 80's girl? ;)

Andy: Ashley just looked at my phone and now they're all making fun of us. *groans and hits ashley with a pillow*

Arielle: Purdy. -.-

She quickly puts down the phone, answering the door for the last trick or treaters and locking the door for the night.

Andy unlocks the door a few hours later, a proud smile on his otherwise tired face as he walks into the dark apartment Calling out his girlfriend's name with no reply. He shrugs it off, thinking she is probably at Delaney's place across the hall. As Andy walks into his room and begins to set down his keys and phone on the nightstand he notices a form lying on the bed. As Andy takes a closer look at the sleeping form he chuckles, Arielle had fallen asleep while waiting for him to come back. Her dark makeup is slightly smeared and her batgirl costume that she had changed into was slightly twisted and her fishnets were caught on her pumps that seem very uncomfortable to the singer. Andy laughs, pressing his lips to her forehead before stripping the writer of her shoes before waking her up carefully.

"Andy... When'd you get home?" Arielle asks, sitting up from her nap. Andy brushes a piece of hair out of her face as he whispers, "a few minutes... You looked really uncomfortable in this incredibly sexy outfit."
"Shit... I was planning on surprising you." Arielle groans, fixing her top. "I was thinking we would do some batman on batgirl role playing or something?"
"Maybe we should do that some other time baby, I'm pretty worn out from the show and you seem exhausted." Andy cooes, stripping himself of his batman costume and pulling on some boxers. Arielle agrees, pulling off her outfit and grabbing some underwear and a t-shirt. Her hair goes back up into a half ponytail on top of her head as she goes in the bathroom to take off her makeup. The couple is cuddling in bed minutes later, exchanging a quick kiss and a few minutes of sleepy talking before drifting off to sleep

So, I've been having writers block and I might not update until after the holidays due to that and the fact I will be skiing in montana with my family and I don't know if my grandparents have wifi... Anyways, so I hope all of you survive finals and any stressful holiday situations that may occur. I know I had a few revolving around my friends, clothes and sexuality... *sighs* Life just sucks. Hope you guys have a good holiday and if you celebrate christmas, I hope your enemies get abducted by whatever that guy was in grimm last week ;P
