Two Friends Who Can Set The World On Fire
-----KAITLYN'S POV-----
Today was going to be a spa day with Meaghan. I knew she had been feeling stressed from planning her wedding so, being a good friend, I had arranged for us to go to the spa. Andy and Ashley offered to pay for it, but I didn't accept. I had my own money and wanted to treat my friend. I grabbed my jacket, phone, and Andy's car keys.
On the way to Ashley's, I called Meaghan. She sounded upset, she must really need this spa day. I pulled into the drive way and saw the curtains to the living room pull shut. I knocked on the front door and Ashley opened it in nothing but his boxers.
"Hi!" Meaghan giggled from behind him.
"You ready to go?" I asked as she grabbed her phone.
"Yeah! I need a break from planning the wedding!"
"And I need to talk to the guys about my batchelor party..." Ashley trailed off.
Meaghan gave him a worried look and I grabbed her hand, pulling her to Andy's car. I turned on Asking Alexandria and sang along. The song was Not The American Average. As the song continued, I noticed Meaghan seemed more worried. I turned off the radio and started talking with her.
"What's wrong, Meaghan?"
"I'm just worried about Ashley's batchelor party!"
"Why?"
She didn't reply.
"Meaghan, Andy told me that they weren't going to a strip club. Andy doesn't lie, so I know for a fact that they're not going. Even if they did, it shouldn't matter. I've never seen Ash look at a girl the way he looks at you."
"I know but-"
"Meaghan," I interrupted her as we pulled into the spa parking lot, "he loves you! Nobody has ever gotten Ash to love them. You are something very special to him. He would die for you."
"You're right," she smiled.
"I know. Now, let's get to relaxing."
We entered the spa and immidately, every "prep" stared us down. I hate society and its labels. Who are they to say that they're better than us? Are we not people?! Pushing the thoughts away, we spoke to the receptionist and she gave us our locker numbers and keys.
We went to the locker room and I pulled my black bikini out of my bag. Meaghan forgot hers, so I let her borrow my red one. Once we were dressed, I pulled my blonde hair back into a pony tail. Today I was going to dye the tips a redish color, a little surprise for Andy.
Meaghan and I climed into the hot tub and she literally moaned. I could tell she had been needing some time to relax. What better way to relax than in a hot tub with your best friend?
As time drug on I realized we were running a little late for my hair appointment. We quickly hopped out only to have mud purposely spilt on us by some chick. She had an all over Playboy look and laughed at us. I was pissed but I brushed it off, not wanting to cause a scene.
Once we were cleaned and in our clothes, we ran to the salon part of the spa. The lady smiled at us which made me feel great. At least somebody didn't pay attention to labels. She sat me in a chair and began applying the red dye to the tips of my hair.
As I sat under the dryer, Meaghan gave me a thumbs up. I smiled at her and recieved a text from Andy. I unlocked my phone and read it.
Batman: Hey BlackBird, how's your spa day with Meaghan?
Me: Pretty good. Some chick purposely spilt mud on us!
Batman: Haha, well I could clean you off ;)
Me: That would be heavenly! Oh, by the way, I have a surprise for you!
Batman: I have one for you too. We figured out what we're going to do for Ashley's batchelor party!
Me: What would that be?
Batman: Party at Jake's place. Video games, wings, pizza, chips, and beer! :3
Me: Sounds like fun! Sammi and I are taking Meaghan on a shopping spree for her bridal shower.
Batman: Cool. Well, I'll let you get back to your relaxation day. I love you :*
Me: I love you too! :*
I heard the hair dryer click off and realized I was done. My stylist escorted me to another chair and turned me so I couldn't see myself. She removed the foil and Meaghan covered her mouth. I looked awful, didn't I? I was spun around and in complete shock when I saw myself. I looked great!
"Kaitlyn," said Meaghan in awe, "you look gorgeous!"
"Thanks Meaghan!"
"Come on! I wanna go to the mall!"
"Hot Topic it is," I laughed as I payed for our visit.
I turned the radio back on and exchanged CDs. I searched for the right track and turned the volume up. Suddenly, Set The World On Fire started playing. Meaghan laughed and I rolled down the windows. I put on my shades and we began singing along to the music.
"Fight for all you know when you're backs against the wall! Stand against the liars! Stronger than before when your life becomes a war! Set the world on fire!"
I was having so much fun with Meaghan. I'm really glad Ashley met her! She is like a sister to me and if anyone ever hurt her, they'd have to deal with me. I'd make sure they felt twice as much pain as she did!
Focusing on happier things, we pulled into the parking lot of the mall and ran into Hot Topic. I see a panda hoodie with ear and I immidately grab it. The last on in my size, too! Suck on that Ashley! I also buy a few bracelets, new eyeliner, nail polish, and a star necklace. Meaghan buys the new BVB t-shirt, a panda beanie for Ashley, and some combat boots.
We head to the cash register to make our purchases. The cashier has a look of total shock. Is she okay?
"Miss?" I ask concerned. "Are you okay?"
"Am I okay? THE Kaitlyn Biersack and THE Meaghan Wright are buying stuff from my store!"
"I take it you're a fan of Black Veil Brides?" I ask pointing to her BVB necklace.
"Yeah! Hey, can I take a picture with you guys?"
"Sure!" Meaghan giggles.
Another employee takes the cashier's phone as we stand on either side of her. We wrap our arms behind her back and smile softly. Once the picture is taken, we make our purchases and head back to the car, stopping for two milk shakes on the way.
I dropped her off at Ashley's and waited until she was safely inside. I then went to Andy's house where he was waiting for me. I had no idea of the events that were to follow.
