MIDNIGHTS POV


(4 months later.)

I stood in court, grasping Andys hand for dear life as the judge passed it over to the jury to give my dads sentence. We had been here all day, and everyone was here. We were in Texas for the sentencing, and everyone had came. Nana brown and everyone from her house, Ash, CC, Jinxx, Jake, Ella, and Sammi were here, and we were all waiting. I held my breath, and Andy rubbed circles on my hand with his thumb, gently tickling the surface. "We have found the....." There was scilence as we waited for the sentencing. "Guilty for abuse and first degree murder. "I sighed, and felt tears prick my eyes. I was finally safe from him. Finally. After years of abuse, I was free of him. Andy pulled me into a tight hug, and we jumped up, happy. "Andy."
"What?"
"Were free." He smiled, and pulled me into a long kiss. My Nana brown walked up to us, and I pulled away from Andy, and smiled at her. "Come here my darling." She said, pulling me into a tight hug. I felt her body shake lightly with small sobs. "Hey why are you crying." I said, pulling a tissue out of my pocket, and gently dabbing at her eyes. "I'm just so happy that your now safe." She said, gently kissing my head. I smiled at her, an looked over her shoulder. My dad was looking at me, tears filling his eyes. He looked deep into my eyes, opened his mouth, mouthing the words I so longed to hear for all these years. "I'm sorry." I nodded at him, and he gave me a weak smile before being lead away by two policemen. "Are you ok?" Nana asked, looking at me. "I'm fine. I just want to leave now."
"Well were going now, and everyone is coming back to mine. We can have a massive family gathering." She said, a smiled beaming on her face. Andy laced his hands with mine, and we all left the room, to go to Nana's



(At Nana Browns house.)

"Oh come on dude I wanted that slice!" Jake yelled as Ashley grabbed the big slice of Pizza out of the box. Nana had splashed out on pizza's to feed everyone in the house, and everyone had managed to cram themselves into the front room, sitting of chairs, the sofa, and even the floor. Suddenly the phone went. Aunt Cathy answered it. "You dirty bastard." she exclaimed, her face a look of discust. "What is it Cathy?" Nana asked. "Its this twat on the phone, he said that if you can guess what he has in his hand you can have it."
"Give me the phone." I said and Cathy passed it to me. "Hello. If it only fits in one hand you can fucking keep it." I said and everyone burst out laughing as I hung up and grabbed a piece of pizza. "Oh I do love you." Aunt Cathy said, taking a sip of her drink. "Well it's true." I said, laughing. "Well I hope you set up for dissapointment when you see Andys." Ashey siad, and Andy punched his arm. "Well mines bigger than yours." He said, laughing. I looked around the room at my family.Yes it was broken. Yes it was put together. Yes it was a mixture of ages and people, but it was my family, and I wouldent have it any other way, even if there was my mother missing. I knew that she would be proud of every single one of us. This was going to be my life, and I was going to enjoy myself, no matter what happenes....
