You Saved Me

Katie's POV: About a half hour of freaking out later, we hear It's On Like Donky Kong blasting outside, and walk to the door. When we step outside, I can't help but laugh as Red pulls into veiw and all I can see is Rocket standing on the seat holding onto the frame of the windshield, and thusting his hips, as he swings the Hot Topic bag in the other like a lasso.
"Bitch, I don't know if you can handle this schlong. Go, go long, I'm hung like King Kong," he sings, then Red sings Jayy's part dancing as she parks.
Rocket gets out of the car, and sings Dahvie's second part in the song, then sings the same line from before, and as he sings, "Go, go long, I'm hung like King Kong," he throws the bag like a football, and I catch it easily.
"Is this what you guys are going to do every time we see you now?" Jake asked.
"Now that you say that? Yes," I tell him, pulling the gauges from the bag, and slipping my old ones out, "Thanks again, Red!"
"No prob, babe," she says, walking over to us.
"What size are those?" Ashley asked me.
"Double 0," I tell him, walking back inside and grabbing a couple pieces of ice from the freezer.
"Dry or lubed?" Rocket asked.
"Dry, like always baby," I tell him, passing the ice to him, then slip the one taper through my ear, wincing when I hear my ear pop.
"Ice?" he asked.
"Not yet," I tell him, then pop the other one in, already dreading it because one of my ears has always given me hell when gauging up, then say, "Ice."
He passes the ice to me, and I gently place it on my ears, sighing in relief.
"You're crazy for that," CC says, stepping into the kitchen with the three of us.
"Maybe, but that's just who I am, Mr. Runs in the Snow Naked," I counter.
He chuckles, then rolls his eyes at me, and grabs a bottle of water from the fridge. A few moments later, Ashley walks into the kitchen, and asked if he and I could talk, so I agree, and he has us go out to the pool area again.
"So, what's up?" I ask, sitting on the edge of the pool, then slipping my shoes off, and dipping my feet in the cool water.
"Since we won't be heading out for a while, would you like to go with me to The Golden Gods?" he asked.
"The...The Golden Gods?" I ask in shock.
"Yeah. It would mean a lot to me if you did," he says, sitting behind me, and placing his legs on either side of me.
I lean into his chest, then say, "I'd love to, but what do I wear?"
"I'm just going to wear a nice shirt and a pair of jeans. The chicks, like Lzzy Hale and Amy Lee usually wear a nice dress, but punk it out a bit," he tells me.
"Alright. I'll get an outfit today, and see what you think," I tell him.
"Sounds good to me," he says, kissing my hair.
"I found the lovebirds!" I hear Red call out with a laugh.
Ashley chuckles, then says, "Not a moments peace with these guys around."
"You're telling me," I say with a smirk of my own."Micro! Girls day out with Alicia!" Red calls to me.
"Awesome. When are we heading out? And what are we doing with Rocket?" I ask.
"In five minutes, and we're leaving his sorry ass with these guys," she tells me, walking over and sitting next to us, "You two make a really cute couple."
"Thank you," Ashley says.
"What were you two talking about anyway?" she asked.
"The Golden Gods," I say as if it's nothing.
"Alright," she says, then gets up and walks away, then she pauses and says, "Oh, and Ash? The guys need you to lay out a track really quick."
"Ugh, alright. Thanks, Red," he says, leaning his head back, then says, "Guess I better get in there."
"Guess you better," I say, "I have to go out with the girls."
"I think tracking is better," he says, then kisses my hair again, and pulls me to my feet with him.
"I think you're right," I say, then kiss his lips and walk to the car. I get in, then honk signalling that I'm ready to go. A few seconds pass, then Red gets in the back seat and Alicia gets in the front.
"This really is a beautiful car, Katie," she says, rubbing her hand across the dash board.
"Thanks, Alicia, but please call me Micro," I tell her.
"Alright. Micro," she say, smiling at me.
"So, where to first?" I ask.
"First, did Ashley ask you to the Golden Gods?" Red asked, making me blush.
"Yes, why?" I ask.
"To the mall, then," she tells me.
I sigh, then back out and head to the mall as told to.
