You Saved Me
Good Afternoon
Katie's POV: When I wake up, I feel Ashley's arms wrapped around me, then the soreness and stiffness down there as I stretch out. I sigh as I relax again in Ashley's arms, then gently turn over to find he's already awake, and fully dressed. That's when I notice I'm also clothed, and we're in his bunk. When did I get here? "Good afternoon, beautiful," Ashley says, gently kissing my forehead. "Good afternoon?" I ask. Did I really sleep half the day away? He smiles and says, "Yep. It's just going on 2 right now." Damn. Didn't realize I'd slept that long. I then ask, "Why'd you let me sleep so late?" He shrugs at my question, then says, "You looked so peaceful, and I didn't want to disturb that." Ah. Okay. I think. "Plus, CC and Will needed to catch up on some sleep. Seems we may have kept them awake by accident," he then adds, and my cheeks blaze bright red, as I realize what he meant by that. Oh, no. So that means they heard everything! I bury my face in his chest, and murmur, "Wow. We must have been loud." "Actually, according to the story they told, it was mostly you," Andy says, opening the curtain. "Oh, my God," I groan in embarrassment, while Andy and Ash laugh at me. Jayy's POV: We let Micro's schooling slide for the rest of this school yeah, but I think she needs to get back in when we get home. That's why when we get back, Dahvie and I have to sort through all the paperwork, and get her enrolled again. Oh, speak of the devil. She just came on the bus, since we're at the venue now. Well at least she seems to be in a pretty good mood. "Hey, sleepy head. Sleep well?" Dahvie says suggestively. She nods with a bit of a smile playing on her lips. "So, we need to talk to you, Micro," I say. She suddenly looks scared and asked, "About what?" "Nothing bad. Now, sit down, please?" I assure her. She slowly sits on the sofa, and I say, "We want to get you back in school when we get home, alright?" "I can't go back. It was brutal there," she says, and I can see the tears brimming in her eyes when she looks up at me, "Please, don't make me go back." I sigh, knowing from experience, that school can be brutal. At the same time though, we can't just not send her back. She needs her education. "How about this? You still have a year and a half. Go for the year, and if it's too much, we'll let the last half a year slide?" I say. She considers this, then says, "Fine." I know she's not happy about this, but it really does have to be done. Wow. Now I sound like my mom. I watch as she slinks back to the bunk area, then comes back out, then head onto the bathroom.
