Katie's POV: Just before Black Veil heads out on stage, I grab Ashley and kiss him very passionately on the lips. When I release him, he stumbles back a bit, then recovers and heads out on stage with a huge shit eating grin plastered on his face. Jayy comes up behind me, and says, "I saw that." "What? That? It was just a kiss," I counter. "Sure it was. You know, we're getting hotel rooms tonight, so if you want you can have a room to yourself with Ashley. Just take these with you," he then holds out a pack of condoms to me. I gasp at the sight of them, then snatch them away from him, and hide them in my bra. Jesus Christ! "Well someone's an eager beaver," I hear Dahvie say, with a small laugh. "Only eager to get them out of sight, not to use them," I say, not even looking at them, because of the awful shade of red on my cheeks. "Hey, it's cool. We all know how it is. You can't tell me you've never wanted to do it," Dahvie says, taunting the shit out of me. "He's right. It's a normal part of being a teenager. Trust us," Jayy adds. "I'm not having this conversation!" I exclaim, as I walk away, to the other side of the stage. Ugh! The nerve of those two! Yes, I understand they only want to protect me, and teach me to be safe, but come on. Now is so not the time nor the place to have the sex talk. I mean, it's already an embarrassing conversation as it is, but to have it in public? That's the worst. I'm almost 18 anyway. It's not like I don't know what safe sex is. It's not like I'm completely lost on the details. We still do have to take the most embarrassing class in the world, called Sex Ed to graduate high school. I was so lost in my thoughts I hadn't realized Black Veil was beginning to head off stage until Ashley came up to me, and asked, "Babe, you okay?" "What? Oh! Yeah. Just fine," I tell him with an odd smile. He pulls me back to their dressing room, and has me sit on his lap. He gently brushes my hair back and asked, "Really, babe, what's wrong?" I sigh, then say, "Jayy gave me these, and said we could share a room tonight," as I pull the pack of condoms from my bra, and pass them to him. He looks at them then says, "Babe, I'm not going to pressure you into it. I thought we established that. I'm ready whenever you are, but no sooner. We can get a room to ourselves, or share one with Andy and Juliet. It's your decision." I think about his words, and I know he means every word, but I want to please him too. He's been so patient with me, so I finally say, "Let's get a room to ourselves, and see what plays out. If we do end up using these, then cool. If not, that's cool too." He smiles at me, then kisses me, and says, "Sounds good to me." I nod, then take his hand and lead him backstage. He helps me get set up, and when Bewitched comes on, I head on stage.
