Camp Saviours

As I watched Annabel laughing and chatting with Ella and Ashley, I realized why I had been acting so oddly around her. Ever since I found out about her anorexia, I've been.... Confused. And feeling weird around her. And concentrating on her beautiful eyes... Her cute smile... Her smooth brunette hair...

"CC.... CC!!!" I heard yelling.

"Yeah?" I replied to whoever it was calling my name.

"We're leaving, I've been calling you for a few minutes!" I looked up and saw Annabel smirking down at me, one hand outstretched to help me from my seat. I reached up and gripped it in my larger one.

Once I was up, Annabel began to blush and I realized I was holding her hand longer than was needed. When I began to pull away, she held my hand a bit tighter, looking away from me. We started to walk after the rest of our little group, still holding hands. I smiled down at the blushing teen, and she smiled a small smile back up at me.

We caught up to Jake, Ella, and the rest of the guys fairly quickly and I broke my connection with Annabel.

"Hey guys!" Jake called to us as we approached.

"We're going to head home, CC you said you needed some new drumsticks so if you go to the music store across the street I'll pick you up later."

"Annabel did you want to come with me?" I asked the (still slightly blushing) girl.

"Yeah sure!" She smiled.

We hurried across the empty road and waved to the other five people on the other side before meandering into the store.
