I woke up to see the mass of blonde hair on my chest. I sighed, looking at the tear stained cheeks and puffy under eyes. I hated seeing her like this, all broken and lost, not knowing what else to do. She stirred slightly, and opened her eyes, looking up at me. "Sorry Andy."
"What are you saying sorry for?"
"I kept you up, fell asleep on you."
"Oh it doesn't matter sweetie, your more than welcome to. I don't like seeing you cry." I said, and she sighed. I sometimes have nights like that, I cry and then I'm fine. It was a one off thing."
"Listen to me, you'll be out of here soon, just trust me." I said, and she sighed, nodding. "Ok then sweetie. I will." She said, standing up and walking over to the mirror and sighing. "Bloody hell, who let the homeless person in." she said, giggling to herself. "I think you look beautiful." I whispered under my breath so she couldn't hear. She turned around and sighed, walking to the small kitchen part.

"What you want for breakfast?" She asked, pulling her hair back into a pony tail. "Errm anything, I don't really mind." I said and she smiled. "Pancakes it is then." she said, beginning to make the batter. I smiled and got up, rolling up my sleeves, and helped her. "Oi don't get flour on the floor." she said, and I chuckled, throwing some at her lightly. "Oh no you don't." She said, throwing some at me. It soon became a flour war, and it ended with us both covered in flower. "Oops." I said, and she laughed, brushing flour off herself. "You better go and get yourself cleaned up, I'll finish the pancakes." She said, and I nodded, going into the bathroom, and cleaning myself up.

I walked back outside, and was met by Kandy, two plates with pancakes on. "Breakfast." she said, still covered in flour and I laughed, brushing some of it off her cheek. "Hello there flower."
"Oh ha ha very funny. I'm off to get cleaned up. Watch something on telly if you want to." She said, walking into the bathroom. I smiled after her, eating my pancakes and switching on the TV. Batman popped up on the screen, and I smiled, watching as Batman and Robin ran around the screen. Kandy walked back in and smiled. She looked at the TV and grinned, racing over to the Sofa, and sitting beside me eating her pancakes. "was hoping this was on."
"You like Batman then?"
"Hell yeah, he's my favourite superhero."
"Same with me, I have the tattoo's to prove it." I said, showing her my tattoo's. "Awesome. I watched it all my life so I'm pretty attached."
"Same with me." I said, and she smiled, finishing her pancakes, and putting the plate in the sink.

"Well we better get dressed and get some posters up."
"Posters?" She asked, looking at me. "Yeah, posters for band auditions. We need to put them up so you can find a band." I said, and she smiled. "Well I was thinking last night, a few of the girls here play instruments, I could always ask them if their interested first, because we'd have a better bond if we know each other more." She said, and I nodded. "Good idea, well then I'll come here again tonight, and we'll ask them."
"Yeah awesome. " She said, smiling. I smiled back and she yawned. "I am knackered." She said, putting her head on the pillow. "How about we stay in and watch films all day, your feet must be dying slowly." I said, and she giggled. "Yeah they are." she said, and I smiled. She grabbed some blankets and threw it over us, flipping channels. I smiled at her as she concentrated on the screen. She was actually beautiful, and the best part was that she couldn't see in herself. It made her more beautiful in a way. I sighed, and looked at the screen, thinking about the night that was going to come.
