I passed men their drinks, and quickly went back to the bar. I sighed, and took a shot of brandy and sitting down. "My feet are slowly getting crippled." I said, and Tina laughed. "Your feet are getting used to it. And it didn't help you walking around all day."
"Yeah well, I saw some amazing sites today, it was so cool. I had such a great day."
"I'm glad you did. And I was told by the lovely Goldie that you were taken by a boy." She said, and I grinned. "Yeah, Andy...he's great."
"Well as long as he looks after you he's great." She said, getting up as more people came to the bar. She came back up to me and smiled. "Man wants you to serve him." She said, and I sighed, getting up and walking over to the other side of the bar. Andy was sitting there, grinning at me. "Andy...what are you doing here?"
"Just thought I'd come and make sure no one touches you, and see how you are." He said, and I smiled. "Well what you want?" I asked, and he smiled. "Jake and coke please."
"Alright then." I said, and I sighed at all the wolf whistling that went on at the other half of the bar.

I passed him a coke, and he paid me. "Sweetie the men over there ordered drinks." Tina said, passing me a tray and I sighed. "Ok. See you in a minute Andy, duty calls." I said, and he chuckled slightly. I walked off, and sighed at all the slurring going on. "be careful." These lot are not the ones you want to meet on a dark night." Sherrie said to me, and I nodded, putting down the drinks. Someone squeezed my bum, and I squirmed as I turned and saw a man of about 50 grinning at me. "Excuse me. "I said, trying to get past but he blocked the way. "Come on baby, lets party."
"No thank you."
"Baby, you haven't really got a choice." He said, pulling me closer to him. I struggled to get free, but his face kept coming closer to mine. Suddenly his arm was grabbed, and he was pulled off me by a familiar figure. "Try finding someone your own age prick." Andy snarled, and I grabbed his arm. "Andy stop it you'll get kicked out." I whispered, and he grabbed my arm gently. "Well who says she's yours?" The old man slurred, folding his arms. "I do for the time being, now fuck off." he said, and the old man laughed. "Yeah, whatever dude. She's dyeing for me. "Actually no. I'm not either of yours so you can fuck off, and you come with me." I said, grabbing and walked back to the bar, Andy close.

I motioned for security, and the man was taken out of the club, swearing and shouting all the way. "You okay sweetie?" Tina asked, and I nodded, pouring myself a jack. "I'll be fine. not the first time." I said, walking back over to where Andy was sat at the bar. "You could of gotten kicked out."
"Well you could of got raped by a old man, I'd take my chances." Andy said, taking another sip of jack and coke. "Well, thank you Andy." I said, and he smiled at me. "No problem sweetie. Tina called me over and I walked over grinning. "You better talk to Goldie, she's thinking of chucking Andy out." She said, and I stared at her. "Why?"
"Because he caused a bit of a scene. Now you know what happened so go and talk to her." She said, and I nodded, walking over. "Goldie."
"Yeah sweetie, are you okay? Anything hurt? You need a drink-"
"I'm fine, but you can't chuck Andy out. He was protecting me."
"But he caused a scene, and we cant have that."
"That man was going to hurt me, touch me, rape me later for all I know, he practically saved my skin Goldie, please don't kick him out."
"What makes you trust him so much?" She said and I sighed. " I've been in here for years, talked to loads of men who seem ok, but not one has ever stood up for me when I was getting mistreated by another man. They all just sat there and watched. Andy actually cared enough to make him stop, to get him off me, and for that reason, for the reason that he seems really nice and kind, and cares, please done chuck him out." I pleaded and she sighed.

"I suppose your right. Fine he can stay, but he cant be beating up everyone who looks at you wrong." She said, and I nodded. "Thank you Goldie."
"No problem Sweetie." She said, and I smiled, walking off. "What's up?"
"Nothing just stopped you getting kicked out." I said, and he grinned. "Sorry."
"It's fine. You saved me really. Thank you."
"No problem." he said, downing his drink. I smiled and carried on working.

I walked over to Andy who was still at the bar. "Time to go sweetie." I said, and he smiled at me. "OK then. I'll be back tomorrow." He said, and I noticed he was slurring slightly . "How you getting home?"
"Driving."
"How much have you drank?"
"Just...Just a few."
"Oh no you don't." I said, grabbing him and pulling his back. "Your spending the night at mine, you are not driving home like this." I said, and he sighed. "I'm not drunk."
"I know but your not sober either. You'll kill yourself if you drive home like this." I said, and he sighed. "Fine. Where am I going?"
"Well I only live upstairs, you can spend the night here if you want." I said, and he sighed, nodding. "Ok." He said, and I lead him up the stairs, and into my house. I sat him on the sofa, and he smiled. "Right, I need to go back downstairs and get changed. Just stay here I'll be back in a few minutes." I said, and he nodded as I left, and went down to the changing rooms.

"You ok sweetie?" Sarah asked, and I nodded, taking off my make-up. "Yeah i'm good. Usual I suppose, how about you. "I'm good. Well great actually. Never guess what?"
"What?"
"I'm leaving LA."
"Really why?"
"Because I've been given a photography job, and they want to hire me for good! It's my dream come true!" She said, and I smiled. "Congratulations honey." I said, hugging her. "When are you leaving?"
"Well I finish the job tonight, and leave tomorrow morning."
"Oh sweetie. Well done. I wish you all the best." I said, and she smiled. "Thank you sweetie. I'm so excited. I'll text you when I get there." She said, and I smiled, hugging her again before she left the room. I felt tears slip, and I washed them away quickly. she was going. Another girl was leaving to get her dream. She was here less time than me, how come I'm still here? I've always wanted to leave, and I was still here, stuck in a rotating loop.

I sighed, and got changed, grabbing my clothes, and leaving the room. I walked up the stars, and walked back into my flat. Andy was sitting on the sofa, and he smiled as I walked in. "Hey sweetie." he said, and I smiled. "What's the matter?" He asked, and I noticed that I had red eyes. "Oh nothing, I just got something in my eye." I said, looking away from him. He stood up, and turned me around. "You've been crying What's the matter?" He said, wrapped his arms around me as more tears fell. "My friend Sarah's leaving, she's got her dream waiting for her. She's been here less time that me, why am is till in this hell hole?" I cried, and he sighed, picking me up and putting me on the sofa, holding me as I sobbed. "You'll be okay Kandy. Trust me you'll get out of here soon. I promise." He said, and I sighed, wiping away my tears. "I give up. I'm going to end up staying here for the rest of my life." I said, and he sighed. "No your not. your a strong, independent woman, and you'll get out of here soon, just give it a little bit longer. Like they say, people who give up usually say it before something amazing happens." He said, and I giggled slightly. "I hope your right Andy. I really hope so..."
