No Backing Down
We got outside and I remembered I forgot something. ''I'll be right back I forgot something!'' I said running off before they could say anything. I ran up to my old room and looked under the dresser. There it was my box. My box had everything in it like thoughts,ideas,memories,and stuff like that. I couldn't leave this behind. I took the box and walked back outside. All the guys were in the car, but Ashley. ''Ummmm.....Yeah. You might have sit on my lap,okay? Is that alright?'' Ashley said rubbing his arm. I nodded and got into the car. Everyone looked at me when I got into the car. ''What?!?! Do I have something on me!?'' I rudely asked. CC spoke up. ''Yeah you have Ashley!'' They all started laughing, but me. ''Hey, what's wrong? I didn't mean it, it was a joke.'' CC sadly said. ''I know, but I'm not a big like laughing person I guess you can say....'' I drifted off when I saw the car had started and the orphanage disappeared from my sight. I looked out the window.
It was silent for the rest of the rides. I sat on Ashley's lap adjusting every few minutes. I stared out the window not even paying attention. I heard a voice choke up. ''Hey,umm Christian right? What's that in your hands?'' Ashley's voice cracked through my focused thoughts. ''Oh,this? Well it's my life in a box. Sorta. I put everything in here like thoughts, ideas, dreams ,memories, and whatever.'' ''Oh,cool. Can I see inside.'' Jake intruded. I looked down at the box and back at Jake. ''I don't know. Right now wouldn't be a good time. Sorry.'' ''It's okay.'' He responded. The car went back to silence. Andy turned up the radio and started singing along. I giggled and that made him look at me. ''What something wrong?!'' Andy said. ''Ummm yeah! Your eyes are off the road and 'The Drug In Me Is You' is my song!'' I responded loudly. The car filled with laughter. ''We're here!!!' CC screamed and quickly exited.
I looked out the window and I felt my jaw drop. I felt Ashley's hand push my mouth shut. ''Yeah you might want to close that before you get hit.'' He said. I looked at him with a confused look. Then I realized what was about to happen. Ashley opened the door and pointed for me to get out. I got out of the car slowly. Being really careful if I got ''hit'' or not, I walked onto the sidewalk. Andy grabbed my bag and said he'll carry. I nodded my head and smiled as a thank you. We walked up to the door and CC pushed us all aside and barged through the door. I couldn't help but laugh. I face palmed then walked in. This place was huge and when I say huge I mean huge!
I put my box down on a nearby table and out of now where ......BAM!!!! I got pummeled by the guys. I would've smiled, but I was more worried about breathing. I tried finding somewhere in this pile I could breath, but there was no where. I decided to just to start pushing them off of me. When I finally got all of them off of me it was amazing, there was fresh air! They all started laughing and I smiled. Andy gave me a hand up and I refused the offer. ''I know that if I accept that offer than I will regret something, but thanks anyway. He shrugged his shoulders and went by my luggage. I got up and saw the guys leaving. I ran out the door to catch up with them. ''Where are you going?!'' I asked quickly. CC frowned and said, ''Sorry dude, but we got to go we'll back tomorrow or later.'' They all gave me a hug, but CC gave me a giant bear hug. I walked back into the house. I saw Andy waiting waiting for me.
''Now what?'' I asked Andy. Well I can show you your room and then we can go shopping. I shrugged my shoulders and nodded my head in agreement. I followed Andy as he took me to my room. After a minute or two, he pointed to a door and said, ''This is your room. I'll let you unpack, but hurry up because I'm going to see if the guys want to go out for dinner. Is that okay with you? After we'll go shopping.I'll give you a few minutes to unpack.'' I nodded at Andy as he shut the door. I put bag next to the bed. I took a deep breath and just dropped on the bed. I thought of everything that had happened today and what was going to happen.
As I thought about everything, I felt my eyes get heavy and shut.
