You drift in and out of sleep, your imagination riddled with nightmares until you feel arms wrap around you and jolt awake. Thoughts of the previous night filling your head.
'Shh, Bree it's me. I won't hurt you." Jakes soft voice snaps you out of it. "You having nasty dreams? You keep shouting and tossing around, I was concerned"
"Stay with me." You beg "I'm so scared"
"I'm not going anywhere sweetheart, I promise." He pulls you into him, stroking your hair. "Relax honey" he encourages. "It's going to be okay now."
"Andy." You murmur, your brain still thick with sleep "is he alive?"
"Yeah. he's fighting" A small smile plays on his lips "Andy never gives up" there's a teeny. amount of sadness in his voice, you can't quite judge why, but he also sounds admiral and caring.
"Can we go visit him?" You plead. You have to make sure he's actually alive for yourself.
"When you've rested." He kisses your forehead gently. You curl into him, feeling so warm and safe. As much as you hate to admit it to yourself, you definitely have some feelings for Jake, it's just vital not to make the position worse than it is. He doesn't seem to be getting the 'not getting involved with you' vibe though, he's caressing your face with such care you'd think you were made out of glass or something. You glance up at him, his face is almost blank, his eyes looking at you with adoration.
"Jake I -"
"Shh baby." He puts a finger to your lips "I know"
A few hours later, you're sat next to Andy's bed in the hospital. One side of his head's been shaved, a long ugly pattern is left from where he's had stitches. His face is all bruised, he has a broken collarbone and he's in a coma with possible brain damage. It could be fatal. He's already been out for two days. You cling to his hand, Ashley and Jinxx beside you. You can tell Ash is taking it hard too, he keeps blinking back tears. You run your hand down his back comforting him. He looks up.
"Lil' sis."
"Yeah big bro?"
Jinxx frowns slightly, looking confused at our nicknames.
"I got an idea." He leans close to you, his breath tickling as he whispers into your ear. "I know you can do it, I've heard you in the shower."
You bite your lip, but nod.
"Okay. I'll give it a go."
You sit up. Taking a deep breath and releasing it again, you begin to sing 'Saviour' in a slower more melodic way than Andy sings it. You hope it triggers something in his head or something. You see the guys leaning forward intently and realise how much hope is resting in this working. You stroke Andy's hand, with your thumb, singing the chorus. His eyes flutter, his lip twitches be grunts. You sit there, stunned. Jinxx is already running for the doctor.
"Keep going Bree" Ash encourages. Your name must trigger something too, his hand jerks slightly, as if he's trying to grip yours in return.
"So hear my voice, remind you not to bleed. I am here. Saviour will be there..." Doctors and nurses begin to rush in, you and Ash get pushed out the room and the door shut behind you.
"You're brilliant you know that right?" Ashley grins, pulling you into a bear hug.
"C'mon Jee" you pull him into the hug. The three of you left embracing in the hallway. All you can do is hope
