I was worried sick, I couldent stop thinking about Scarlett and what had maybe happened to her. I paced up and down the front room, Sammi trying to call her, everyone else trying to confort me. I wasnt really listening to them. I was deep into my own thoughts. Myabe she was lying beatena and bruised in a ditch. She might be surrouneded by boys who have the worst intention. Maybe she had bumped into Kevin, and he was hurting her while she cried out in pain, screaming for someone to come and save her, and nobody coming. I felt tears prick my eyes, as there was a sudden knock at the door, Me and Sammi ran at it. She beat me and opened it...only to find Kevin standing there, Scarlett standing behind him, facing the floor. "We have some news for you." Kevin said, grabbing Scarlett and pushing past me and Sammi to the front room. Everyone turned to face them, as a look of horror spread across their faces. Me and Sammi followed them into the room. "What news?" Sammi said, folding her arms, and raising her eye brows. "Were getting married." My face dropped. She was getting married to that beast that beat her for 5 years. I couldent believe that. "She wouldent do that." I snapped, stepping forward. "I did....." Scarlett whispered, looking up at me. She had been crying. I could see all the fear and the hate and the anger in her eyes. But at the same time, I could see the courage and the bravery in there to. I knew that she had done this for a reason. "But...Why?" I asked, looking deep into her eyes. I could see fresh tears forming now. I wanted to comfort her so much, but I knew that Kevin would probably hurt her if I do. "Because, sometimes it's easier to make a deal woth someone than watch peopel suffer." She said, her voice with a lump in it. "But I don't understand." I said, watching my beautiful girl, stand there, helpless, in danger. "It's hard to explain..."
"Just tell us!" Ella yelled, standing up. "I'M SAVING YOU!!" Scarlett yelled, tears now falling from here eyes. "I'D RATHER ME GET HURT DAY IN DAY OUT THAN SOMETHING BAD HAPPEN TO ANY OF YOU." She yelled, as Kevin stood beside her, placing his arm around her shoulders. She had petentinally signed her death cerficate, to save us. To keep us from Kevin. I let the tears fall. I looked down, trying not to let her see. "Can I say goodbye?" Scarlett asked. "Ok, dont be long though." Kevin said, taking a step back. She walked up to me, and lifted my face up to look at her. "I'll be fine Andy, Just remember that I'll always love you." She said, tears now streaming down her face. "But you can' leave me what will I do without you?" I asked, letting my tears fall to. "You'll find someone just as good as me, better in fact, and youll forget all about me and you'll live happily ever after." she said. I looked at her in shock. "No matter who I meet, no on will ever, ever match you Scarlett. I love you so fucking much."
"I love you to Andy." She planted a small kiss on my forehead, and moved on to say goodbye to the others. Aftershe had said godbye to everyone, She took Kevins open palm, and walked out of the house. I stood there for a while, not knowing what to do. Sammi and Ella were in tears, and everyone else was staring in disbelife. I walked over to Ella and Sammi, and joined them in there sobs.
