I Gave It All

Claudia's POV~~

I had been released from the hospital two days ago, finally being able to take my kids home as well. It was a little painful to walk, and I couldn't carry anything. Jake had to carry both of the twins inside and I felt kinda upset about that.

I was currently sitting on the couch, holding Carlie. I was thankful that one of the female nurses taught me how to breast feed, because I had no clue before. Jake was sitting next to me, holding Kyle with a giant smile on his face. They made me smile.

"I'm sorry I wasn't here to take you to the hospital." Jake said quietly as he rocked Kyle in his arms.

"Jake.. baby it's not your fault. If anything, I'm glad you went on tour instead of letting your fans down. But you can't do that now that you're a father with two day old twins. I love you Jake. You have nothing to be sorry for." I said. Jake smiled a bit.

"I love you too.. but what if I wasn't able to reach you at the hospital at all?"

"Don't worry about that. The only thing that matters is that you got there." I said I kissed him and Kyle started to cry.

"When did they get fed?" He asked me.

"About an hour ago." I said. Jake nodded and stood up. I followed and Jake got a new diaper ready. Sure enough, Kyle had shit himself. Jake quickly changed him and we exited the room. They were both sharing a room, for more. When they got older, we'd move Kyle into his own room. It was pretty chilly outside, despite it being July, so Jake dressed Kyle into pants and a long sleeved shirt that said, 'I <3 Daddy'. I pulled Carlie close to me and the timer in the kitchen went off, signaling that our dinner was ready. I handed Carlie to Jake and I rushed into the kitchen to save the lasagna from getting burnt. I quickly set it on the counter and got two plates out. I served the both of us as there was a knock on the door. Three people walked into the kitchen; Jake, Ashley, and CC. What I wasn't expecting was the bundle in Ashley's arms. I quickly got two more plates out and put some lasagna on both plates. I got out some silverware and set the table, then I set the plates on the table.

"Hey.. stop rushing and come say hi." Ashley said. I smiled and walked over.

"Well, look what we have here. I'm a grandma.." I said quietly. Ashley nodded with a smile.

"Her name is Katie." CC said.

"Can I hold her?" I asked. Ashley nodded and he handed her to me. I held her for a bit before handing her back over. Jake handed Kyle to me and we all sat down to eat.

"Hey, do you guys know what's up with Andy? I haven't really hard from him much, and when he visited me in the hospital he didn't stay very long." I said moments later. Ashley and CC cringed and averted my gaze.

"Guys... if you know.. tell me." I said. They mouth shook their heads.

"I swear to fuck if you guys don't tell me. I got three hours of sleep last night, and I'm not in a good mood, so just tell me." I said. CC sighed and set his fork down.

"Andy... is dating someone that's not Juliet." He said.

"Alright.. congrats for him I guess." I said.

"But it's not just anyone... it's Crystal." Ashley said. I raised my eyebrows.

"So, you two cringed when I don't even care? How long have they been together?" I asked.

"Six months."

"Alright.. now I'm kinda pissed. You guys took six months to tell me? Why?" I asked.

"We thought you'd get mad." Ashley said. CC nodded and he was handed Katie.

"I have a feeling they won't last much longer. From what I've seen, she's a slut." Jake said. I shrugged and continued with my dinner.
