I Gave It All

Claudia's POV~~

The bus finally stopped at the next stop for warped. We all groaned and stood up, fixing our clothes, hair, and putting shoes on. We all got off the bus and Jon followed, handing Andy a schedule for their shows. Jon then helped me set up their merch tent, putting the merch up for display, and I pulled a chair up behind the table. It was pretty lonely being the only person to sell merch for Black Veil Brides. A girl with shoulder length brown hair came running up with a guy, and he didn't look too happy.

"Hello. What can I get you?" I asked.

"Can I get a wristband and that shirt right there in a medium, please?" She asked.

"No problem. That'll be $24. I said. She fished around in her bag while I grabbed her desired shirt and wristband. I turned back around and set her items on the table, still waiting.

"Come on, babe. Hurry up." The guy said.

"You can wait a couple minutes, Jason." She said. Then she pulled her wallet out and handed me the money. I put her things in a bag and she thanked me.

"No problem. Have a nice day." I said. She smiled at me and her boyfriend roughly dragged her away from the tent. Ten minutes later, a guy walked up to me and smiled. He looked about sixteen.

"Hey. What can I get you?" I asked. I saw Jake walk over and I smiled.

"Can you tell me what stage Black Veil Brides is playing on? This is my first day at Warped Tour." He said.

"Hey babe." Jake said as he kneeled down next to me.

"Black Veil Brides plays on the Kia Forte Stage at 2:00." I said. The guy standing in front of me was wide eyed. I looked at Jake and smiled, pecking his lips.

"Uh.. t-thank you, miss." The guy said.

"Do you want an autograph?" Jake asked. The guy nodded and Jake grabbed the sharpie that was sitting on front of me and the guy pulled his phone out of his pocket and handed it to Jake. He quickly signed it and handed it back.

"Thanks Jake." The guy said.

"No problem man. Have a great day." Jake said. The guy walked away and almost fell over at how happy he was. I laughed a bit and Jake pulled me up out of my seat and kissed me.

"Goodbye. I'll see you after the show, right?" Jake asked.

"Yeah. See you later." I said. I pecked his lips again and he left, making a beeline for the stage. I sat back down and waited for somebody to come up. By the time Jake came back over, I had helped about ten people find their way to the stage, and had sold merch to about seven more people. Once Jake got back, he helped me clean up and we headed back to the bus, hand in hand. We both entered the bus and took a seat on the couch.

"There's the two lovebirds!" CC said.

"Where were you?" Ashley asked.

"We were cleaning up the merch tent." I said. Ashley nodded and then Jinxx walked out, Sammi following behind him. She must have been on the bus all day.

"Hey Sammi, wanna help me with merchandise tomorrow?" I asked.

"I can't. My band is playing on Warped also." She said.

"Band?" I asked.

"Yeah. My band is called My Satellite." She said. I nodded and she sat next to Jinxx on the couch. I eyed them suspiciously. I heard a knock on the bus door and Andy went to open it. He came back a minute later.

"Claudia, there's a guy out there who says he knows you." Andy said as he sat back down. I got up and walked to the door. I looked at who it was and my heart skipped a beat.

"Cam!!" I yelled. I ran, well sorta stumbled, down the steps and ran into his arms. He chuckled and hugged me back.

"It's been awhile. How are you?" He asked.

"I'm awesome! What about yourself?" I asked.

"Eh, I've been better." He said.

"Do you want to come inside?" I asked. Cam smiled and nodded. He followed me up the steps and into the bus, closing the door behind him. I sat back down next to Jake and Cam sat next to me.

"Mind sharing who this friend of yours is?" Ashley asked.

"Well guys, this is Cam, my cousin." I said.

"Mind telling us about yourself, Cam?" Andy asked.

"Well, I'm nineteen, Cam is short for Cameron, and I've got some news." He said.

"What kind of news?" I asked, looking at him.

"Well, do you remember my girlfriend, Cristina?" He asked. I nodded and he continued.

"Well, she got pregnant, but it isn't mine." He said.

"Well, how do you know?" Jake asked.

"I haven't had sex with her." He stated," then she dumped me for some guy named Tyler, I'm guessing the guy who got her pregnant. She came crawling back to me, saying she lost the baby and Tyler dumped her, but I rejected her. She then left and the last thing I heard is that she's lesbian now."

"Wow." Was all I could say.

"I'm not done. After that, my mother died of alcohol poisoning. Soon after that, my father followed in her footsteps, but he killed himself because of her." Cam said.

"Cam, that's a lot to go through." I said. He nodded and a tear fell down his face.

"How about this, you take my bunk. I'll be sleeping with Jake anyway." I said.

"Why with Jake?" Cam asked.

"Jake is my boyfriend." I said.

"Oh. Well thanks Claudia. I appreciate it." Cam said.

"It's no problem. Make yourself at home." I said. Cam hugged me and then shock hit me like a train wreck. My aunt and uncle were dead, the only family besides Cam who actually loved me.

"They can't be dead, Cam. Please tell me they aren't!" I said. Cam looked at me sadly. I started bawling. That wasn't fair. I stood and made my way to the bathroom. I closed and locked the door, sliding down it while I cried into my hands. This just wasn't fair at all.

Hey guys, so as some of you know, today was the first day of school, so expect later updates. School actually was fun today. I saw all my friends, hung out, and all my teachers are fucking cool, especially my Algebra teacher and my Woodshop teacher.:)
