Plans for battle were on the forefront of everyone’s mind. Today was the day we attack. The army slept all of yesterday so we could walk into the desert during the night to get to the city of F.E.A.R. once we were about a mile from the city, we found a river than rant into the city underground, from there we crawled/walked in it all the way to the underneath of the city. Jinxx and I unlocked the heavy gate and the army made its way inside. It was now or never.

Andy gave the command and him and the legions crept back outside while we waited for the command to march on. From outside they were met with shadows. CC punched the ground and the five shadows died instantly.From the place they stood, flowers began to bloom. For every shadow killed, a plant was left where it stood. So for every evil life taken, a good life form was born. Sadly for every good life taken, a bad was also born. However those life forms were easy to get rid of. Once the shadows died, the city went on high alert. Jinxx got them back into the tunnels where we all marched through the city. The city its self was almost ten miles wide. From underneath, CC would punch the ground. For all the captives we found, Jake and Jinxx as well as I looked them over. Since there were many dead from the torture, we decided on a room to store all the fallen Rebels until we could get back and give them a proper burial that they deserved.

As we marched on, the voice of F.E.A.R. spoke into a loud speaker. They knew we were here. With my dagger ready, I went off in a tunnel that led to building one with Ashley by my side with a few soldiers. Andy and Matt went in building two; CC and Emmett went into building 3. We saved as many as we could as we tried to kill the shadows. One grabbed me and its touch burned my wrist where it held onto me. Grabbing my dagger, I slammed my dagger into its neck killing it quickly. Ripping cloth off my pants, I quickly wrapped my wrist and then continued on with Ash. Throughout the building there were over 200 Shadows. Each one we killed brought five more to avenge it. Slowly but efficiently, we killed all of the ones on the first floor. Freeing the first floor, we then moved to the second floor where we started over.

Casting a spell, I made my self-invisible as I ran into a crowd of shadows. Since they could not see me, I had an advantage. Killing the group of 35 within minutes, Ashley was able to free more Rebels and Prisoners as I fought of the guards. Going onto floor three, it got more difficult. It took several stabs to kill one shadow. The building was 5 levels and we were almost done. My spell wore off and they then were able to see me. Yet again, another shadow grabbed me. It burned like hell but I fought through the pain. I remembered what I had been fighting for: freedom, my freedom and the rebel’s freedom. I couldn’t let this shadow kill me. Yet again, I dragged my dagger through its body multiple times, killing it and releasing me from its grip. Wrapping more cloth around my arm, I continued on. I saw Ash again. He was about to meet his maker (if a maker did exist). Turning my self-invisible, I ran up to the shadow and stabbed him over and over and over. When he died, Ash was released from its grasp.

As he fell to the ground, another shadow appeared to finish him off. Taking my dagger through him, I killed every single shadow that came near Ash. Contacting Jinxx through our bond that we discovered last night, I sent him a SOS telling him Ash was out cold and I was getting ambushed. Within moments Jinxx and Jake were with me helping me. Jake took Ash to the car that Jinxx had made larger and was then going to heal him and return to battle once he was safe. Jinxx and I continued on, we both went invisible for as long as we could and killed all the shadows that were in the halls. Slowly we cleared each hall going one by one. Within three hours, we reached the top floor and freed all the people in there. Going each floor down, we cleared it a final time, killing any shadows that were left. By mid-afternoon, our building was cleared, completely empty and ready to be stripped for parts. By nightfall, we had cleared all 5 buildings that were on the west part of the city. Resting in a fallen building, we made a home base. F.E.A.R. made an announcement about our rising. Matt and Emmett were able to hack into the building plans and electrical works and shut down power in most of the city. People began to panic. Jinxx drove those who were hurt to a set up camp five miles south of our current location.

Ashley had finally woken up near the start of nightfall. He was in pain but we were able to conjure up some relief for him, which he was great full for. Jinxx healed the burns on my arms that I got from the shadows grabbing me. Emmett had only minor cuts and scratches, as did Jake, Jinxx, Andy and CC. Matt had a burn on his leg and on his shoulder but Jake was able to fix him up. We had all of our soldiers in one building with us. We ate the food we had brought and slept as much as we could. We went from 300 soldiers to 240.

The following morning before we continued on, Andy made a speech for the fallen soldiers and told anyone who wanted to leave, to leave now. No one left, which I was grateful for.Grabbing our gear, we cleared this half of the city then moves eastward. Shadow after shadow, they fell to their deaths. By lunchtime, the whole entire western part of the city (stretching almost 5 miles) was now in our possession. Within two hours of that, we had another mile under our control. By nightfall, we had 7 out of the 10 miles of the city in our control. Again, we ate and made a speech about the fallen soldiers. Today we had lost another 60, bringing our total to 180. We could not afford to lose any more men. Sleep was difficult but we all managed.

The following morning, it was planned to be the last day of battle. It was all or nothing. Marching on, we went mile by mile until only the capital remained. The town was eerily quiet. The wind blew through making it even more disturbing. It was almost like a scene right out of a western movie. I moved closer to matt, holding his hand we continued on. As we reached the capital, shadows appeared from thin air. CC punched the ground and killed almost 30 instantly. Letting go off matt, I attacked all the shadows that came near us. Within several hours, we were into the main part of the capital. Splitting up, we divided the army into two sections. I was with Andy, Ashley and Emmett while Matt went with CC, Jake and Jinxx. As we were walking into an empty hallway, Andy stopped me and then pulled a dagger from his belt and stabbed a shadow that stepped out from a corner. Moving on, we cleared our entire part of the building, killing every shadow that we came across and freed every one we could. By sundown, our side of the building was emptied and locked up.

No word had come from the other side of the building. Walking into that side, we passed the bodies of the fallen soldiers and moved their bodies to a common area before pressing on. The further we went, the more bodies we found. It was sickening to see how they had been ripped apart without any mercy. I called out to Jinxx through my bond and I got no answer. That terrified me. Calling out again, I still had no answer. Going further into the building, we found more and more of the soldiers that had gone with Jinxx’s group dead. Our dead count was now at thirty. Continuing on, Andy stopped us as he was getting a vision. His face went pale and his body began to slump as he fell. Emmett caught him and Ash helped support his weight as we carried him to the empty hall and checked him over. At first he was still but then he began to shake. Ashley held Andy’s head in place so he wouldn’t hit his head and get a concussion as he shook. When he stopped, he went slack in Ash’s arms. Using a spell, I checked him over and found no wound or cause for his shaking.

A few minutes later, he woke. The moment he saw me, he took me into his arms and held on tight to me. Tears fell from his eyes. “NO. NO. Its wrong. It has to be.” He shook his head. Ash raised an eyebrow. “Andrea, and Matt were taken to the center of the building. Andrea was executed first. Matt was forced to watch. As of a few minutes ago, he was the next person they executed.” Andy said shakily.


Matt couldn’t be dead. I loved him. He was my other half, my better half. Ash held me back as I tried to crawl away. Trying to fight him off, he held me tighter. Finally, I gave in and collapsed into his arms. Stopping my tears I pulled myself together and said, “I will grieve later, we are in war. Let’s make his death count for something.” Andy gave me a small smile and then got up slowly. Ash let go but held my hand so I wouldn’t run ahead. Slowly but surely, we cleared everywhere but where Matt was taken. Using my magic, I created a portal (through a shiny object) and looked into the room to see what was going on. Jinxx, and Jake were tied up while CC was unconscious. I felt my bond with Jinxx strengthen. I sent him love and feelings of good health through our bond so he knew I was safe. I then made my self-invisible and went through the wall, leaving Andy behind outside.

Healing CC I woke him slowly so no one noticed him awakening. I knew Jinxx could see me, all mystics could see each other. He nodded softly as I went up to the leader of F.E.A.R. from behind I took my dagger and slit his throat. Jinxx then took the moment to break out of his restraints and attack any shadow near him. Jake got himself out and then helped Jinxx. CC took a very deep breath and then punched the ground the hardest I’ve ever seen him do that before. The ground shook for minutes. The shadows all died instantly. The lights flickered before going out. As soon as it was all over, I ran to Jinxx and hugged him. Jake stood behind him, like he was trying to block something. Releasing Jinxx, I tried to push past him and see what he was hiding. I got out of his grasp but was then caught by Jake. The instant Jake touched me; he put his soothing calmness into me via his powers.

I shielded his emotions with my powers and got out of his grasp. Running forward, I fell to my knees. There in front of me lay Andrea and Matt. Her head lay next to her body, which lay in a puddle of her blood. I hugged her and shook as sobs wrecked my body. From her body I crawled to matt’s body. His head was still attached to his body but his throat was slit. I hugged him and kissed him repeatedly. Jake touched my shoulder and said, “I used my powers on them both. They felt no pain as they died. It was quick.” The tears didn’t stop falling from my eyes. CC spoke and said, “Matt told me to tell you if he didn’t make it out of this, that he loved you. You were his reason to fight every single day. His reason to not give in. he knew the moment he stepped into this half of the building, he would die but he would die for you so you would be safe.”

“Andrea smiled and told us to tell Emmett, that she loved him more than anything. He was her sunshine. Her freedom. Everything she could ever need. She told us to tell you, she was sorry she ever caused you harm. She regretted it, she saw how you did have value and all those people who called you worthless were wrong.” Jinxx said. Ash and the others walked into the room. They saw that the leader of F.E.A.R. was dead. It was over. At least here it was over. I had the city of Angels to save now.

Going onto the loud speaker, Andy said, “the Kingdom of F.E.A.R. is no more. You are free.” Gathering the bodies that were left, CC said, “we will even give the enemy a proper burial because that is what should be done.”The tears fell harder and harder as I stared at Andrea’s and Matt’s bodies. I clutched onto his lifeless body and held him. With one hand I held it for one last time. It got harder to breathe the harder I cried. I kept kissing Matt and running my hand across his cheek. I felt dizzier and dizzier the more difficultly I had breathing. I looked up at Jinxx and then fell over.




Ashley’s POV


When Andy collapsed, I knew he was having a vision. It’s happened once before, a very long time ago, but I remembered what to do. Holding his head up, I waited for it to pass. Once it did, I waited for him to gain consciousness. When he woke up crying, I knew it was bad. Wednesday knew what he saw. She burst into tears for a few minutes but then composed her self before carrying on. My heart broke for her. She has gone through a lot. We stopped again once we got outside the room Jinxx was being held in with Jake and CC. Opening a portal; we saw what was going on. She then turned her self-invisible and went through the wall. We watched as she killed everyone she could and released CC from his restraints and woke him up. He then striked the ground and the ground shook for minutes. All the shadows died. The power went out. Once we were certain it was safe, we entered the room. Jinxx hugged Wednesday before she pushed him off. Jake caught her before she got out of his arms and fell to the floor over Andrea’s body.


She sobbed as CC and Jinxx told them their last words. Over and over, she kissed matt’s lifeless body and hugged him. His blood was all over her. She cried so hard that she passed out. Andy picked her up and carried her out. We walked with what was left of our soldiers to our camps and saw what we had left. We left our home camp with 300 men and we are now down to 50. It was devastating and sad but they did not die in vane. We walked all night through the desert carrying as many bodies as we could back to their families. We all carried Wednesday for the portion of the night. The entire time, she did not wake up. Then again, Jinxx put a spell on her so she would sleep and Jake had a clam effect on her so she’d sleep well. Even though the battle is done, I feel like a war, a bigger war has started. Who knows what’s going to happen next. All we can do is hope is that its in our favor.

three months? holy crap. haha glad to be back. this will be worked on a lot right now so it may be completed. (: its about time I do that haha. that way I can focus on the Purdy's and my story that is hidden in the works right now. its so topic secret that not even my friends know yet haha. i'll let you know when that will be released. probably within the springtime. I don't know when, things are going crazy right now. this will be completed however. it might take awhile. i'm sorry babes. I promise i'll be more active however. XD
