I walked outside, and slid down the wall, letting tears fall. I couldn't understand anything. My parents had always treated me different, but I never thought it would of been because I wasn't actually their child, and I had never thought I was Kat's child. I knew that people always said that we had the same eyes, but she had always said it was because it runs in the family genes in the girls, so I always believed it, I never thought it would be like that. I sighed, and heard footsteps come closer to me. I felt someone stand beside me, and slid down the wall, sitting beside me. I looked up and saw raven hair and blue eyes through my blurred vision. "Come here babe." Andy whispered, and I edged over to him, letting him wrap his warm muscular arms around me. "Shhh, don't cry sweetie, you'll be fine." He said, and I sighed. "I know, I just cant believed how long everyone lied to me for." I said, and he looked at me, wiping away my tears with his thumb. "They had your best interests at heart, it would of been easier."
"But I needed to know, it's not fair that I've been lied to for so long."

"I know it's not fair sweetie, but it was for the best, Kat only wanted the best for you, and at the age she had you, you would of been taken off her anyway, so it was easier for you to be given a better home than be in a situation where your own mother couldn't take care of you." He said, and I sighed, wiping away the rest of my tears. "Listen baby, I think you should go and talk to her, sort things out. She is your mom after all." he said, stroking my hair. I sighed and nodded. "Your right. Where is she?"
"In her room." He said, and I nodded, giving him a small kiss before getting up, and walking back inside. I walked up to Kat and David's room, and knocked on the door before walking in. Kat was curled up in a ball on the bed, her face hidden between her knees and hair. I walked over quietly and sat on the end of the bed, making it dip slightly. She gently moved her head and looked at me. "Oh Destiny, your here." She said quietly, and I nodded, looking into my lap. "Yeah. I'm here." I said quietly.

She gently sat up, and looked at me. "Listen Destiny, I'm sorry. I know I should of told you and that it was wrong of me not to, but it was for the best at the time to give you to them, even though they are arseholes. I knew there was a chance of you getting to be like them, but I knew that your outgoing personality would come out someway, and I was proved right. And when you did find me, I was so happy, but I knew I couldn't say anything of who I actually was, but I was happier than ever that I had my baby girl back, and Destiny I am so proud of you, no matter what." She said, and I let a tear fall. "I know it was the right thing to do, and more than anything im glad that your my parent and not them, but there were many times you could of told me and you never did."
"I was scared that something would happen so that then I wouldn't ever see you. I hadn't seen you for 17 years I was damned if I wasn't going to see you for another god knows how many." She said, and I sighed. "Well either way I love you." I said, and she smiled. "I love you to Destiny, so fucking much. Destiny...I chose your name you know. My brother didn't like It, but once the birth certificate was signed he had no choice." She said, and I giggled, crawling to her and letting her wrap her arms around me.

"So should I call you mom now or...?" I asked, and she smiled. "I don't mind, you know the truth and that's all I wanted." She said and I smiled. "Thanks mom." I said, and I saw a small ear fall from her eyes. "I have waited for that day for so long." She said, and I smiled, kissing her cheek. "I love you." She whispered, and I smiled. "I love you too." I said, and I smiled as we lay there in each others embrace, feeling loved by a mother for once in my life.
