I stared as Ashley left the room. She liked me. Destiny liked me. I felt a smile creep onto my face, and I left the room. I waked back out the bathroom, and down to the back of the bus. Destiny was sitting on one the sofa, legs tucked underneath her, looking down at a guitar magazine. I smiled at the sight of her. She looked like the Destiny I met in the tattoo parlour, all shy and quiet. I smiled, and sat down beside her, causing her to look up. "Any good?"
"yeah, it's ok, I'm just thinking about learning electric guitar." She said, folding the corner of the page and shutting the magazine, putting it to the side. "So you like Batman?" I asked, and she giggled. "Never really watched it but I have the feeling you like it."
"How'd you know?"
"Tattoo's." She said, pointing to them. "Aunt Kat said that if you take in someone's tattoo's you can learn a lot about someone's personality without talking to them." She said, and I smiled. "Observant aren't you?"
"Yeah, well when you've been taught like me you are." She said, and I smiled as her hair gently fell into her eyes.

She sighed, gathering it all on top of her head, an tying it into a messy bun. I smiled and she smiled back. "So how about watching some batman then? Trust me you'll love it." I said, and she smiled. "Fine, go get it." She said, and I gave a small whoop before speeding off to get the DVD. While I was on the way back, I grabbed blankets, pillows, and raided the cupboards, taking out Doritos, dip, popcorn, and a massive bag of crisps. I walked back in, kicking the door shut behind me, and she laughed. "How much stuff do you want?"
"Well were serving for two so I grabbed what I could." I said, and she laughed, leaping up and grabbing the blankets and pillows out of my hands, and laying them out onto the sofa. "Hold on." I said, moving the table to the side, and putting the food on it, then pulling out the sofa bed, and Destiny smiled, and laid out all the bed. I smiled and put the disk in, leaping beside her and pressing play.

I watched her through out the movie, watching her reactions, and I smiled every time she jumped slightly at every extremely loud sound. I smiled, eating the Doritos, and soon the credits rolled. "Oh my god that was amazing!" She said, eating the Dorito that was in her hand. I smiled at her, swallowing my food. "Told you so." I said, and she laughed. "So your turn to choose." I said, and she sighed. "I'm not really that into films."
"Well what did you watch?"
"I didn't really watch anything. I spent my time cleaning, seeing Aunt Kat and writing music." She said, and I nodded. "Well I think it's time for you to come into the light a bit. Actually live." I said, and I pulled out a box of DVD's. "Choose one." I said, and she crawled over, looking through them all. "Can we watch that?" She asked, pointing to The Texas chainsaw massacre. "It's a horror film, you sure you want to dive straight into them right now?" I asked, and she nodded. "I can take it. I've watched my dad slaughter pigs, it wont be that bad I don't think." She said, and I nodded, putting it in the DVD played.

After about 30 minutes, she had the pillow up, and was peaking over it like a small child. I smiled, and edged closer to her. "You want me to switch it off?" I asked and she shook her head. "No, I'm going to watch this until it kills me." She said, and I laughed. There was a sudden crack, and the TV and the lights went off, making her scream, and jump on me. She clung to my chest, and I held her as she hid in my neck. "what was that? Is it gone? Is it over?" She asked, and I stroked her hair. "Hey it's ok. I'll find out what's going on." I said, and she whimpered slightly. "What if leather face is going to get us?" she asked, and I chuckled slightly. "Hey, there's no such thing of him. He's a character in a film, nothing more." I said, and I felt her grip tighten on me slightly. Suddenly the door slammed open and we both screamed as a light landed on us. "Would you two stop screaming? Unless your having sex then please continue screaming because that's a good sign." Ashley said, and she let out a breath, her grip still tight on me.

"Ash dude what the fuck is going on?" I said, and he sat beside us. "Powers out. Don't know why or how, the drivers pulled over and called the road service because nothings working apart from the engine and he cant drive with no lights. Why are you two so scared?"
"We were watching Texas Chainsaw." I said, and he laughed. "Really? You let her watch that? Jesus dude what part of your brain said that was ok?"
"He didn't choose it I did." Destiny said, lifting her head off my chest for a second, then putting it back on. "I didn't actually interrupt you two having sex did I? Because you seem to be covering yourselves up a bit, and your all over him." he said, and I hit him. "No Ash, we were watching a film." I said, and he laughed. "Ok then dude." He said, and he left the room.

"He always thinks someone's having sex." I said, and she giggled. "Making a girl scream is a good thing then in his books."
"Yeah, well it's good anyway. You can make her scream you can make her do anything." I said, and she giggled again. "Yeah right. You wouldn't be able to make me do anything." She said, and I smiled. "Oh yeah, we'll see about that."
"Bring it Biersack." She said, and I chuckled. the lights pinged back on, and so did the DVD, showing a girl getting sawn in half. Destiny yelped slightly, and hid her face in my chest again. I wanted to reach out and kiss her lightly, tell her everything would be okay, but I didn't understand why I couldn't bring myself to do that, I couldn't, no matter what I tried. I sighed, and the others ran in. "and we have lift off. We'll be back on the road in a minute." CC said, and I nodded, switching the TV off, and letting Destiny sit up. I let go of her and sighed, not liking the warmth that left me when she did. I needed to get my act together, fast...
