We Stitch These Wounds

Chapter 11 - I Don't Hate You

The house was packed with more teenagers than should ever be in one house. I walked in under Andy's arm followed by Kellin and Vic, we instantly migrated over to the drinks table where Andy pulled a bottle of whiskey out from his back pocket. He filled four cups with coke and added swigs of whiskey to three. Giving me the cup with only coke, he passed the other two to Kellin and Vic, who touched their cups together and gulped it down. Andy looked at me as I leant against the drinks table, he moved closer and smiled at me.
"Cheers princess," he said quietly and touched his cup to mine and gulped down his first drink. I took a sip from my own drink and looked over at Kellin who was talking to a blonde girl, she was pretty and I could tell from the way he was looking at her that he was blown away.
A few drinks later, Andy was definitely a bit tipsy. I noticed that the more he drank the more his touches would go from seductive teasing, to gentle lingering emotional touches, even if he didnt realise it himself. The song changed, I recognised it as 'Firework' by Katy Perry, but Andy's face lit up when it came on. He smiled at me, his eyes taking a second to focus.
"Dance with me." I shook my head. No way, did I ever dance, it just wasn't me. I had no coordination and I didn't like feeling like everyone was looking at me. He tried again, "Come on, dance with me, princess." He made his mouth into a pout and gave me the cutest puppy dog eyes. Even that couldn't break me. I shook my head again.
"I'll stay here, you go dance." he hesitated for a moment then gave in and went to the middle of the the dance floor, put his hands in the air and started swaying his hips from side to side in beat with the music. I couldn't contain my laughter, watching him. His eyes never left me though. When the chorus came around, he jumped waving his hands around, not caring what anyone thought, he looked like a 6 year old. The happiest 6 year old in the world though. He stopped and held up the bottle of whiskey so I could see and took three massive gulps emptying the bottle and walked over to me and pulled me closer so I could hear him as he slurred.
"Go and tell Kellin you're staying at my house, we're leaving now." I must have looked nervous because he smiled, "Don't look so worried, I don't want you to leave me tonight, we don't have to do anything." I nodded nervously and went over to Kellin who now had the blonde girl sitting on his knee. He smiled at me when I came over and but looked just as nervous as I felt when I told him I was staying at Andy's.
"Scar, text me when you get there just to let me know you're safe, I'll come and pick you up in your truck tomorrow morning. Be careful okay?" I nodded and kissed him on the cheek and walked back over to Andy.
He put his arm around me for support and we walked over to the exit. The minute we got outside, the noises of the party turned into an echo behind us. The night was cold so Andy flagged down a taxi and together we got in to go back to his. On the way home he had his head rested on my shoulder as he played with my hand. "I don't want you to hate me Scarlette..." The use of my name rather than princess shocked me into listening, "I know you can't decide whether you like me or hate me, but I'm trying hard to not let you hate me, that's why I wanted you here tonight." He moved his head off my shoulder to look at me to see my reaction, I hesitated then smiled at him.
"I don't hate you," he smiled and put his head back on my shoulder and went back to playing with my fingers and we did the rest of the journey in silence.
His house was about 10 minutes away from mine, but the difference was shocking. His house was massive. He gave a wad of cash to the driver and walked up to the front door, unlocked it, and gestured for me to go inside. The hallway was bigger than my house, and everything was either cream, white or black. There was a wide staircase opposite the door with white marble steps and a gold banister. He told me to go up and take the first door on the left. After texting Kellin, I went in and couldn't believe this was where he lived. The walls were painted blue and the carpet was a cream colour, such a contrast to Andy himself I wouldn't believe I'd gone into the right room if it wasnt for the open wardrobe revealing nothing but band shirts and skinny jeans. He came in and placed two glasses of water on the bedside table by the king sized bed before flopping down on it and beckoning me over with his finger. I went and sat next to him on the bed. He sighed and put his hands around my waist and pulled me down next to him. He accidentally pressed too hard on one of my bruises and my face screwed up slightly.
He noticed and looked at me confused. I closed my eyes and willed him not to ask. I felt him roll over so he was leaning over me. I opened my eyes to see his face was about 6 inches from mine. Wow, he's beautiful. "Why did you make that face?" I looked away and tried to blink back the tears, I knew he knew about my bruises already, I still didnt want to tell him though. He used one finger to pull my face back round, smiled and licked up my face where a tear had began to fall, "There shall be no crying in the Biersack residence," he said as I laughed and pushed his face away. He smiled and put his forehead next to mine, "Now tell me why you're crying."
I took a deep breath in, and my voice came out in no more than a whisper. "I know you saw them the other day, when Kellin was looking at them in the car." He nodded slightly and pulled me up so I was sitting. He put his hands on the collar of my jacket and slowly pushed it down my arms. The bruises on arms had faded to nothing but yellow marks, but I was still conscious that they were there. He threw my jacket on the floor and fingered along the bottom of my shirt, asking permission, I hesitated then lifted my arms up. My shirt went up over my head and I closed my eyes.
He pushed me back and I felt him trace his fingers over every black and blue mark on my body up my stomach to my shoulders and down my arms. He went up my neck where there were no bruises and traced his fingers around my face, gently running them over my facial features and being sure to leave no area of skin untouched, apart from my lips, he moved his fingers away and I could feel his presence above me his hair tickling my face, I opened his eyes to be met with his.
"What are you--?" He pressed his fingers gently to my lips and carried on looking at me.
"No more talking, beautiful." I was about to explode inside because he had called me beautiful when I felt his lips pressed against mine. True bliss took over and the rest was a blur spending the night wrapped in the arms of Mr. Biersack.
