There he was again his beautiful ice eyes starring into nothing. His black hair draped over them. His mind in his music world like always. If I only could know his name. If I could only befriend this lonely heart. Surely I haven't seen him with a friend before. He keeps to himself. Just like me.
He used to laugh. He used to have friends. I seen it with my own two dark brown eyes. He used to laugh, How I wish he laughed again. His friends, They are sill happy. But once he got more and more distance. They dropped like fly's.
Today he sits, He looks fine. But then paper is town. from the back of the bus. Names are being called. And there is nothing nice about the words he is being called. And everything is so overwhelming. I see something I have never seen before. Tears. Like everything just consumed him and he couldent stand it anymore. And it probably sounds creepy. But I could feel his tears. And it hurt like he stabbed a knife right into my heart. Like the room went cold from the cold snow on the ground.
Usually, He walks right home. His house right next to mine. but he ran, as fast as he could in the other direction. And I know its wrong. But I find my self following him. Secretly trailing behind him. Because I don't have the best feeling about this. Like he is going to get hurt. So I bare the wet cold snow leaking throw my Vans. And run.
Dark starts to consume when we hit the woods. Hes walking now still crying. Its below freezing. He picks random flowers. And talks to himself once in a while 'Why dose it have to be like this?' he says 'why dose it have to happen this way!' he cry's. And I feel his tears. I feel them like he is stabbing a blade into my chest.
The events only hit me when we reach a cliff. Below being very cold salt water. Below being sharp rocks. And he takes of his coat. "WHY DOSE IT HAVE TO END THIS WAY!" He screams.
"STOP!" I yell my inner mother screams and he turns around "Please stop, Just back away. Its going to be fine. just put back on your coat".
"AND YOU ARE YOU? MOST IMPORTANTLY WHY ARE YOU HERE!" he yells tears and anger in his voice "WHO ARE YOU TO TELL ME TO BACK AWAY",
"I-I'm Annabell" I manage out of my mouse voice, I hear waves crashing "I-I seen what happened on the bus, a-and I followed you. I care about you".
"You care about me? NOBODY CARES ABOUT ME! You shoulder have followed me here! Because if you are here to save me it will only lead to disappointment! Nobody can save me!" He cry's getting closer to the edge.
"Please!" I beg "I beg of you! Someone is always going to care about you! It could be a stranger! Like me! What about your parents? Wouldn't they care if you were gone? Someone is always going to love you! care for you even, Just please. I would miss you dearly".
Tears fall harder from his face as he steps away from the edge. Sweet releaf falls over me
"Look" He snares "You don't care, But my parents do. Just keep away from me Annabell, You have no idea what I could do to you" He says storming off back into town. And away from the harsh running ice water.
I lay in bed that night, thinking about the harsh and otherly cold events that have happend earlier that day. And how I saved this boys life. How I saved him from himself. And how tomorrow, Insted of reality. Nothing but a terrible memory.
