New Year's Day (AU Andley and Mafia Content)
Chapter 4
Same Day, 10:49 pm.
The big secured doors of his penthouse got closed leaving only Andy and Ashley inside. A deep silence had already filled the place as they entered in Andy’s room.
“Take these. The bathroom is that door there, or if you want you can use the other bathroom down the hall.” He said softly handing a over sized t-shirt and a pair of boxers to Ashley.
“O-Ok, thanks.” Ashley said still looking down, afraid that he would do something wrong.
“I guess that the clothes are all right for tonight, tomorrow we are going to the mall to buy stuff for you ok?” He said smiling with a warm look in his eyes. And that’s the thing that confused Ashley after all, this man, he never saw him before…. But his voice had something familiar, very familiar his voice sounded like the voice he loved most not a long time ago. By the other hand…. Those eyes… they had something very mysterious inside….. something that he had to discover.
He made his way to the bathroom that was in Andy’s room and shut the door by inside. He took off his ripped clothes and jumped in the shower. As soon as the hot water touched his shoulders he felt the feeling he had missed so much all this time. For once in so long he could feel warm, clean, pure…. and maybe even innocent again. He kept rubbing his body with the wash cloth hard as if he wanted to rip his own skin, his dirty and used skin. Like he wanted to wash away everything and start all over again. When he felt like he was ready to face the reality again, he turned off the water and got out of the shower. He could feel the sweet scent of shampoo all over his body, making him feel less worthless then before, making him feel part of this world again, making him feel less of just a piece of scum like he felt before.
He put on the clothes that Andy gave to him feeling the nice smell they had. They smelled weirdly warm and sweet and familiar, like he could feel home. He opened the door to find behind a smiling Andy sat in the bed watching at him. Did he change this fast all of sudden? Andy stood up and still smiling walked towards him. Ashley, without even knowing smiled too and even blushed a little. Andy stopped and put his hands in Ashley’s shoulders looking him right in the eyes.
“Have I changed this much?” Andy asked still smiling as confusion clouded over Ashley again. Did he know this guy?
“Huh?” Ashley asked.
“You don’t remember me do you?” Andy laughed a little. “I don’t blame you, it’s been a long time.”
“I’m sorry, but I’m not catching a thing.” Ashley said again not breaking the eye contact.
“It’s me Andy! Ricky’s brother!” Andy said with a big smile on his face as Ashley did the same with a few tears escaping his eyes.
“H-How comes?... Oh my God!” He said not being able to finish the sentence. “Shhhh, now that I found you, I’m never letting you go ok?” Andy said while hugging Ashley tight.
“B-But… h-how?”
“I tried so hard, worked with all my soul even if it wasn’t a ‘white’ work, just to be able to make a future for him. That night before…. I talked to him, I said that I had enough money to support the three of us. To take us to a better place. I told him to stay out of that gang…. He said that that night he would win some money too, I told him that we didn’t need them, that I had enough…. But he didn’t listen to me. My little brother…. That night….” He could finish his sentence, tears started falling down his face as he hugged and held into Ashley for dear life, like he was the last thing left from his little brother.
“Then the necklaces…. That’s why you came here then” Ashley said finally understanding what had happened.
“I took that necklace from him that day…. The day they called me to confirm the dead body found. I-I promised to him…. That I would find you and I would take care of you… and I finally found you. I finally found you.” Andy said as more tears found their way out, releasing the worry and the pain he had felt this entire time.
“Oh my God! I-I finally f-found you. I’m so happy.” He said again as they both cried in each others shoulder.
“Then…. The job…”
“It’s for having you where ever I am. The guys will keep you safe. I will keep you safe.” Andy said as he wiped away the tears and looked Ashley right in the eyes.
“I will take revenge for my little brother…for you….for me.... do you want too?” Andy asked the question that maybe would change their life forever.
“Yes, I do.” The brown eyes said fearless and ready for what was about to come.
