*Adelyn's POV*

We were driving in the cab. I wanted to ask Jake something. But i needed to get used to calling him dad. I went for it..

'Dad..'

I said, my voice still shaky.

'Yeah, baby.'

He said. Adjusting Jay on his side.

'What if the guys don't like me.. What if they think i'm a waste of space?'

I asked. Tears forming in my eyes.

'Hey. Don't think like that. They'll all love you. I mean, Jinxx already loves you.'

Dad said, Jinxx nodding furiously. I smiled. We got to the hotel room. Dad carried Jay in while Jinxx placed his arm around my shoulder.

'I'm tired, Jinxxy.'

I said. He gave a weak smile.

'It's been a rough day.'

I nodded. It has been a rough day. I lost one of the only important people to me. I met one of the people who will probably be so fucking important to me & a lot more. I'm going to move in with my idols.. A tear slid down my face. Then two. Then three. Fuck. I wanted to be able to hold them in but they kept coming. When we got into the hotel room Jay woke up.

'Whats wrong Addy?'

She said. I wiped my face.

'Nothing, baby. Look. I want you to meet your uncle Andy. Uncle Ashley.& Uncle CC. '

I said with a smile. She gave a smile.

'I like uncle CC's hair!'

She said jumping on CC. I smiled. Her face turned cold then.

'What about Mommy, Addy. Where is she? She never came home from her doctor's appointment or from work? What happened to Mommy, Addy?'

Worry covering her face. That was the question i was dreading. Dad looked at me. I picked Jay up & put her in my lap.

'Look, baby.. Mommy.. Mommy was really sick. & I don't know how to put this, but mommy isn't coming home.'

A tear escaped her eye. Just a single tear. She was so fucking strong. She looked at me as to tell me to keep going.

'Daddy & Uncle CC, Uncle Andy, Uncle Jinxx, & Uncle Ashley are gonna take care of us. Their gonna take really good care of us. They love us a lot & are going to try their best to give us everything we need & want, just like mommy did.'

She started crying a lot. I cried with her. Dad took our chins in his hands.

'Look, mommy wouldn't like it very much to see her beautiful daughters crying like this would she?'

Dad said, we both shook our heads. Dad hugged Jay & CC hugged me. I tried to stay strong for Jay..

'Come on baby. Let's go give you a bath! Tomorrow's your last day of school in Elkview!'

Dad screamed enthusiastically. I smiled. He was doing a good job & we'd only been with him for an hour. Dad gave Jay a bath & dressed her, ordering pizza.

'Pizza's my favorite, daddy!'

Jay screamed, really excited.

'Well you know what, Jay? Pizza's my favorite too!'

She smiled. We waited until the pizza got there then we all ate together watching "My little pony." Jay's choice.

*Next morning*

'Come on, Adelyn. Wake up. One day of school left. Ash is gonna go to school with Jay so i can go with you. Come on get up.'

Dad cooed into my ear. I woke up right away. I walked right into the bathroom slamming the door in my dad's face without saying a word. I was NOT a morning person. I straightened my hair & teased it. Putting on thick eyeliner & black eyeshadow with black mascara. I then slipped in my piercing rings. I put in my 00 gauges, my tongue ring, my septum ring, & my shark bites. I walked out of the bathroom.

'Dad!'

I screamed. He ran into the room panicked. I laughed.

'I just need some jeans & a jean jacket.'

I said. He came back in seconds later handing me the various items i needed. I put on the black ripped skinny jeans & my black OM&M tank top with the jean jacket over it. I finished the outfit off with my black combat boots.

'I'm ready.'

I said to him. He nodded as i grabbed my bag & kissed Jay on the forehead, who still wasn't awake. We got in the car & started driving. Once we got to school the comments started.

'Yes! We won't have to deal with Pitts the fag anymore!'

One of the students said.

'I'm so happy you're going to be gone!'

Another said. I didn't want my dad to see this happen... We walked quickly to the office to unroll me & get my things.
