Ash’s POV


Opening my eyes, I saw that I was in a hospital room. Pressing the nurse button, the nurse entered the room and said, “oh hello Mr. Purdy. Good to see you’re finally awake. Do you need anything? Pain killers?” oh how I could have said, ‘in your pants’ but I didn’t. I mean she was hot scratch that she was sexy but I doubt she would like hearing it. So for once, I kept it to my self. “I just wanted to know how the surgery went. And when I can leave.” she nodded and went to get my doctor. A few minutes later the doctor walked in. he sat on the edge of the bed and said, “Mr. Purdy.” I cut him off and said, “Ash.”“Alright, Ash. When we did the surgery, we removed the mass as well as straighten the kink that was forming from not healing right. Your back will heal okay now and you’ll be fine. It’s the mass that we had issues with. We sent it to a lab and had it tested. It is cancerous and was in fact a tumor. We want to do a full cancer screen to make sure that it does not come back or that you do in fact have cancer.”

Cancer. It was cancerous. Mckendrie died of cancer I might have it. Sighing, I said, “how can it be treated?” he answered, “ Well, chemo is an option. Another is radiation. That’s about it. With Chemo, you would either lose or gain weight as well as lose your hair.” Nodding he then left me to process the information and make a choice. Part of me wanted to tell the guys but the other part didn’t. I didn’t want to put them through watching me go through this. I’ve seen people wither up and die. I cant do that to them. He doctor returned and I said, “I want to do the chemo but I don’t want my family to know. They’re all away on tour. I don’t want them to cancel the rest or watch me get sick.” he replied, “if that is your wish, okay. We can start Chemo this afternoon. It will be painful and make you feel bad. Your hair will most likely fall out. I can make a phone call to the wig supply store we have for cancer patients if you would like one. By the way, the test results just came in, you do in fact have cancer. The good thing is that it is highly treatable.” I nodded and asked for the number. The nurse apparently already made the phone call when the doctor figured that I would decide to go through with the chemo.

The doctor asked, “do you want to cut your hair so when it falls out, it wont be as upsetting or triggering?” I nodded. He returned with a nurse and some scissors. I asked them to hand me a mirror and take some pictures on my phone. I first cut the bottom layer. Watching it fall on to the bed, it was upsetting but I continued on. As I went up each layer, I realized how much hair I really had and how much I was going to miss it. By the time I finished, my hair was short and I looked different. I took a picture and posted it saying, ‘thought it was time for a change. Don’t worry guys…. it’s a wig! Hehe fooled you!” the nurse threw away the hair and then got ready to inject the chemo.

Once she put it in, I began to feel like I was on fire. It burned and I felt like shit. An hour into it and I was sweating and highly nauseous. The nurse gave me a bin to be sick in. she had to empty it several times. The lunges my stomach made then turned into dry heaves and finally calmed down for a while. The second hour I was burning up and then freezing. In the third hour, I was feeling better but still shitty. Finally, it was over. The nurse flushed the IV and I felt a bit better but not enough. I can understand why Mckendrie didn’t want to get treatment. I wish she did though. She would still be here. Going to sleep, I hoped I would get better.


Andy Dawn’s POV



I was bummed that dad wouldn’t be seeing us but it’s okay. He’s getting the surgery to fix his back so he wont be in pain. I just want him to see one show before he comes back to take his place. What the guys did for me was incredible. They made me laugh so hard it hurt. The rest of the afternoon went well and then it was the show. As always, the show was amazing. However, the people weren’t as nice here as they were before. What they said got to me a little bit. Andy saw someone say something but didn’t say anything just yet. I told the person, “you do not know me, you are entitled to your thoughts but it’s not a very nice one. Please get out of my face and leave.” the person was rude but went away. Andy told me, “Good job on keeping your cool unlike I usually do. I’m proud. Nothing that person said is true though. You are a beautiful, talented and amazing person.”

He bear hugged me which lead to CC hugging me. We cleaned up before getting on the bus. Feeling lazy and bored, I grabbed my blanket and crawled into Andy’s bunk and waited for him to return. I lay on my side and propped my head up using my hand and sat there with a creepy smile waiting for him to open the curtain. When he opened the curtain 10 minutes later I said, “hello there.” he jumped back and fell on his ass. I was cracking up. When he got up, he got in the bunk and tried to sit on me. He managed to pin me against the wall and then tickle me like the evil brother he is. Jake was feeling helpful so he grabbed Andy by the ankles and pulled him to the floor. Those two then began to wrestle on the floor while CC then jumped on them both and joined them. Jinxx shook his head and went to get ice cubes. He handed them to me and pulled out his phone. He gave me the cue and I dropped them in everyone’s pants. They immediately stopped and then did the ice in my pants dance. “I’m bored.” I said to no one particularly.


CC said, “Lets prank the relapse symphony guys. It’ll be awesome!” “Alright. What should we do?” Andy asked. I said, “how about we get their bus driver in on this and when they stop and get off at the gas station, he drives away and we drive away. Of course we go back but it’ll freak them out.” CC laughed manically and said, “That is perfect! Okay so faze one, we need to get them off their bus. Faze two we need a distraction. Faze 3 the bus driver leaves. Faze four we reveal what happened and pick them up.” we high fived and then began to brainstorm ideas. It was determined that they get off to get food at the stop and we then have some one keep them busy as the bus drives away. of course everyone but them will no about it. We’d only drive about a mile away and go and get them 15 minutes later AFTER we get all but one phone. That’s the hard part. Or we could just put the incorrect password in and disable it! Yay for Iphones!
It was determined that we would do this tomorrow at the next chance. Finishing up our plans, we all then headed to bed. I went to bed in my bunk but when I woke up the next morning, I was in someone else’s’ bunk.



The person had their back to me. Lovely. Okay so the sheets are red. That’s either Jake or Jinxx. CC has green and Andy has blue. Of course Jake and Jinxx just have to have long hair. The comforter was black however. That means I am in Jinxx’s bunk. All right, but why. of course I was against the wall so I either had to wake him up or I had to wait. Fun. I heard Andy slowly open the curtain and then smirk at me. I pouted my lip and gave him the puppy eyes. He rolled his eyes and then disappeared. I watched as he then dropped Ice water on Jinxx after closing the curtain so he couldn’t see who did it. Jinxx jumped up and then flung the curtain up. Somehow, Andy was already in his bunk, pretending to be asleep with his face to the wall. Go Andy! I got up and then went to my bag for clothes. I put on a sleeping with sirens shirt and black skinny jeans and my beloved boots.


Once I was dressed and my make up was done, I ate what Jake made me and then started my homework. What? I can’t decide to be a good kid today? When I finished, it was just about time to put our plan into play. Our bus driver, teddy was really nice. He was also best friends with the other bus driver. He and the other driver agreed to the prank. So when the time came for us to stop, we got the drivers to agree to make one stop after this one so we had time to get their phones and ‘hang out’. Getting off our bus, we ran to their bus and knocked on the door like crazy. I stood in front of everyone. “OMG guys! It’s the relapse symphony bus! OMG can like we get your autograph and like hang out with you?” Brett answered the door and let us on.

I decided to work on Brett while Jake worked on JC, CC with Tyler, and Jinxx with Alex and Andy with Brandon. CC and Tyler were playing the Xbox. Jake was talking about music. Jinxx talked about who knows what and Andy was talking about tour. I was talking about school and music with Brett. By the time the next stop came, we all had their phones. No one noticed. We decided to be nice and we left Brandon with his phone but we put the incorrect password in many times and disabled it for 6 hours. We all got off the bus and pretended to go to the bathroom and then snuck out the side door of the gas station while the guys were at the McDonald’s half. We ran to our bus and got on while the other bus driver left before us and then went to eat somewhere. We were cracking up hysterically and filming what was going on while we returned to the gas station. We left Jake behind who hide and was recording them. We returned to the gas station and saw all of them sitting on the curb waiting for us to return. I got off first and everyone else followed. Jake came out of his hiding place and said; “now that was funny.”



Brett’s POV

I woke up this morning and put on a band shirt and black skinny jeans and went to the kitchen section of the bus and got something to eat. I listened to music for a bit and watched a bit of TV before the guys all joined me. We talked about Tour. So far, we have been having a blast on the church of wild ones tour. BVB was super nice and a lot of fun. We met Ashley’s daughter who was filling in on bass because he was recovering from the horrible car accident he was in. we haven’t met Ashley yet but we all hear he is a lot of fun and also really nice. Andy Dawn is hilarious. She’s always coming up with the best comebacks and random thoughts that have you piss your pants from laughing.

We were all sitting around playing the X-box when there was a knock on the door. “1-2-3- not It.” everyone called out. Damn that means I’m it. Opening the door, I saw Andy Dawn and the rest of BVB behind her. “OMG guys! It’s the relapse symphony bus! OMG can like we get your autograph and like hang out with you?” I laughed and let them on. We all hung out separately but together, meaning we pretty much stuck to one person and talked. A bit later the bus driver said that this was the last stop for food for a long while. We all got off and went into McDonalds since that’s where we were. BVB went to the bathroom a moment ago while we were ordering. Sitting down, we waited for our food and talked about pretty much nothing. When our food came, BVB still hadn’t returned from the bathroom. Brandon went to go check the bathrooms. He returned and said, “they aren’t there.”



JC went out side and ran back in and said, “The bus is gone! Both of them!” crap! They didn’t leave us behind did they? “Lets just eat our food and wait. When they realize we aren’t there, they’ll come back.” we all went for our phones and realized they were gone. No one had a phone except for Brandon but his was disabled for six hours. That’s helpful. I bet they planned this. We waited for over 45 minutes. When we finished our food, we sat down on the curb outside and waited. When they finally came, the 4 of them got of the bus. We heard a voice behind us say, “now that was funny.” Turning, we saw that it was Jake. Andy Dawn laughed and said, “That wasn’t accidental. Not at all.” They pranked us. Well, two can play this game. Err, like 10 I suppose can play this game. We got on our bus and then began to plan our retaliation. This was going to be good.

hey guys! I just realized that the band I asked you to go like on face book actually played with BVB before. I feel all special. lol so how'd you like their prank? it was sad in the first part so I decided to lighten the second half up with some humor. its going to be sad for awhile but there will be lots of humor and jokes among the two bands.

did anyone see Andy's tweets this afternoon? I was cracking up so much. but I'm still confused on who Larry is. I looked it up but couldn't find out who it was. oh well.

anyways, someone is very close to finding all of the songs. they need 1 more song and they have it. it can be yours still. so the hints I'm giving out is: final song is a sleeping with sirens song AND it happens to be a music video. can you figure it out?
