Sammi doll’s POV


Answering the door after I heard the doorbell ring, I was met by a crying Jinxx and an angry Andy Dawn and an upset Ashley. I welcomed them in after ash pretty much begged me to watch the kids. When Ash went to leave, I tried to stop him. He ran out and then got in his car and left. “Andy Dawn, what happened?” I asked. She smirked and said, “he finally realized he’s a bigger fuck up then ever and cant raise 4 kids because he’s a fuck up.” clenching my jaw I said threw clenched teeth, “what did you say?” she laughed and said, “ I told him to grow up and stop acting pathetic. Crying wouldn’t bring mom back. Oh and that he should’ve died in stead of her and that I hate him.”I narrowed my eyes and yelled, “go to a room and don’t you dare fucking move. Sit down and give me your phone. I cant fucking believe you.”

She threw her phone at me and then ran off. I picked Jinxx up and held her and tried to calm her. She sat there sobbing. When she finally calmed down she asked, “Is daddy coming back?” my heart broke. “Yes he is. Why would you think that?” “Because daddy says that you and Uncle Jinxx can raise us better than he ever could.” she answered back. Holding her close I called Jinxx, “babe. It’s an emergency. Get home now.”
what’s wrong, are you okay?” “I’m okay. Ash isn’t. He dropped the kids off and left. I think Andrea pushed him over an edge we hoped he would never fall from. Hurry.”

Jinxx cried her self to sleep in my arms. Ten minutes later, I was sitting in front of my husband and his band mates. Jinxx started to stir in my arms. When she woke up, she began to cry and beg for her daddy. My heart broke. “What did he look like when he left?” Andy asked. “He was wearing his sun glasses, his cheeks were hollow, and he was pale. Paler than his war paint. His hands were bony; his jeans were way to big on him and his jacket looked 10 times to big. He walked with a limp; overall he just didn’t look good. He didn’t resemble the Ash we know and love. He looked…broken and worse than when you all first met him, way worse.”


Jinxx squeezed my hand and then said, “we need to find him before its to late. He’s attempted before and we don’t want this to be the one time he succeeds. Little Jinxx stopped crying for a moment and said, “I asked daddy if he was okay and he said yes. I asked why he was skinnier than Uncle CC and he said Uncle CC is fat and doesn’t know It.” we all looked at her. “I hear daddy cry too, like right after he and Andy fight. She says mean things and then at dinner he doesn’t eat with us. He makes us eat but I don’t see him eat.” I hugged her tightly as CC asked, “ When was the last time you saw Daddy eat?”

She answered, “thanks giving. I walked into his room once and he didn’t notice. He was shaking like Andy does when she has an attack.” Andy closed his eyes before saying, “if that’s any indicator on how bad things got, we need to find him now or we’re fucked.” We all nodded. Andy then asked Jinxx, “Sweetie, did daddy walk with a limp?” she nodded and said, “yeah. One time when Eve crawled into his lap, he cried when she sat. I pretended not to hear.”


“Did sister say anything mean to daddy when we weren’t around?” Jake asked.

“Yes. Its not nice words.”

“It’s alright to repeat this time, okay?” I answered.

“Sister told him that she fucking hated him and wish he died instead of mommy and that he was the reason we we’re all going to be fuck ups. And she said his friends Ana and Mia weren’t helping him enough because he was still fat. She said things that upset him, especially things he didn’t like about him self. She also called him a drag queen.” She replied.

“We need to find him and also talk to Andy Dawn.” Andy said.

Agreeing, I said here with the kids while they all left to find him. Jake and CC went to his house; Jinxx and Andy went to check a few bars and strip clubs. Putting a movie in for the kids, I heard the front door open and then slam shut. Getting up, I saw that Andy Dawn ran out side.

“ANDREA DAWN PURDY GET BACK IN THIS HOUSE RIGHT THIS INSISTENCE.” I yelled.

She flipped me off and then ran. Calling Jinxx I said, “Andy dawn ran out of the house. I don’t know where she went. This is bad. Fucking shit Jinxx. This is bad. Shit.”

“Sammi, calm down, me and Andy are in the area, we’ll look for her, okay?”

“alright call me the moment you find her.”


Andy Dawn’s POV



When I told dad I hated him, it was nothing but a lie. I love him more than anything but I had to do it. Guilt, regret, dread, every negative emotion hit me. Telling him those things would make it so much easier. If he hates me, it wont hurt him when I die. I’m sick of the girls at school. I act like them, dress like them and listen to their music but that doesn’t stop them from bothering me. Sure I’m not ‘emo’ anymore but they continued on. all the things those girls said to me made me miserable and so I took my anger out on everyone else. Dad just happened to be one of the people who were always around.


Andy knew a little bit about what was going on but he didn’t know the half of it. I took it to far today. Today was also Mom’s birthday. Fucking great. The girls were extra mean and I was upset and Dad just happened to be in the way. When he yelled, I got scared. Now it’s my fault the three little ones wont know their dad. He left us here. The guilt was swallowing me up alive. Pulling out paper and a pen I wrote a letter.

“Dear who ever finds this,

I’m sorry. I never ever meant to say the stuff that I did. The reason I did it was because then when you found this, you all would hate me and then not care that I died. The girls at school became too much. I changed so they would stop but they didn’t stop. They found out that my mom died and then tried to use that against me. They found all of my dirty little secrets and then used them against me. Now that I’ll be gone, carry on like before you knew I existed. Don’t cry for me. I’m not worth your tears. I’m not worth anything anymore.

I’m sorry I never told you about what was still going on in school. I should have but I didn’t for some reason. You guys are my saviors but this time, I can’t be saved. I’m to far gone and not worth being saved. When Jinxx gets married one day, tell her how beautiful she looks. When Eve graduates from high school, tell her how proud of her you are. When Kellin goes on his first date, follow in a car a few cars behind. Make sure Jinxx plays soccer and then plays in high school; she’s going to be good at it. Teach Eve how to play the piano and make sure she studies to go to collage. Kellin, my little Kellin. Teach him everything.

Dad, I’m sorry. I never met to hurt you but I did. I understand if you never forgive me. I’m not asking for an apology, I just want you to know that I lied when I said I hated you. I love you more than anything.

Andy, thank you for all the fun we had. When you and Juliet get married one day, never let your daughter be afraid to stand up for her self. She will be strong, beautiful and kind like her parents.

Mamma Jinxx, thank you for all that you’ve done for me. Filming pranks we played on the guys, and everything else we did, I had fun. Thank you. Tell Sammi that she is lucky to have such an incredible man like you. I hope my little sisters find a man that loves them just as much as you love Sammi.

CC, one of my partners in crime, thanks you. You made me laugh when I didn’t even want to smile. I hope you meet someone just like you (caring, kind, funny etc) and they love you and treat you right. You deserve it.

Jake, I had a lot of fun with you. Especially our adventures on the subway. I wish you and Ella a happy marriage and hope you have cute kids. Thank you for all that you’ve done for me. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

Sammi, you treated me like your daughter and I am forever thankful for that. You gave me lady advice when I needed it and were there for me. Thank you. Jinxx is a very lucky man.


Jinxx, my beautiful little sister. I love you more than stars shine at night. Please never do what I’ve done.Do well in school, make a lot of friends and meet someone who treats you good and loves you for who you are. You’ll always be my little mystic. Keep Kellin and Eve in line and give dad a butt kicking when he needs it. Never give up on your dreams and never lose hope. I will always love you.

Eve, my Legion. You were the cutest baby. I regret not getting to watch you grow up but know, I’ll watch from Heaven with mom. She and I will be proud of you. Do well in school, follow your dreams and never let anyone tell you your dreams are foolish or that you wont reach them. When you get married, I’ll be by your side smiling as you say I Do. When you have children, I’ll be in the room. When you graduate from Collage, I will be the proudest person in heaven. I love you forever my little legion.

Kellin, I named you after a great man. Two great men actually. They were both in bands and left a huge mark on the world. I named you after them because I know you will do the same one-day. I hope you find a person who loves you deeply and makes you laugh when you don’t want to smile. Your going to be a handsome young man who the ladies will love, respect them. Don’t you ever sleep around or I will haunt your sorry ass, got it? When mom held you when you were born, I swear in the moment I saw you, I knew you would do great things. Please never stop striving for success, graduate from high school and have the cutest of kids. I love you forever my little green siren. (You’ll understand that when you know the band names of the lead singers you were named after)


Thank you all for giving me the best life you could. You’ll never truly know how much you meant to me. My love for you all was deeper than any ocean or canyon in the galaxy. I’m sorry I was weak. I couldn’t fight this war anymore. its my time, goodbye forever.

Wiping my tears away, I placed the envelope on the counter by the front door and then slammed the door shut. “GET BACK HERE ANDREA! Sammi called. I turned around and flipped her off before running away. I sprinted all the way to my house and avoided all the major roads. No doubt that she called the guys to look for me. a girl stopped me and realized who she was. “Hey Maya, guess who I found.” She called to her friend. “Who Kristy?” “Andrea PURDY. Ash’s daughter who has been giving him a difficult time. What should we do with her?”


The girl named Kristy took a swing at me and then the other girl did as so. They continued to beat me and then got tired and left me there. Getting up, I ran despite my pain. Going through the main gates, I sprinted the way home. Getting my keys out I went inside, shut the door and left the lights off. Going into my bathroom, I found a bottle of pills and my razor blade. Once I had those, I went to my room to change. Pulling out a black veil bride’s shirt and all of their merch I owned, I put the shirt on and then my own outlaw hoodie with black skinny jeans and my favorite boots. When I finished putting the clothes on, I put on war paint. I put it on exactly like my dad’s and even put one of his bandannas on around my hair just like his. Taking a picture of my outfit in the mirror I tweeted, “Like it? I do. I love you all. Forever and always.” After tweeting it I texted dad saying, “I’m sorry. So very sorry. I love you. Forever and always.”


My phone then exploded with tweets, texts and phone calls. Going through the play list, I locked it on Savior. Grabbing some whiskey from the locked room after picking the lock, I downed the pills and washed it down. Going back to my room, I pulled the razor across my wrists and cut deep. I sang along with the song as loud as I could and then waited for death to take me. My vision started to blur and then the world went dark. I felt the life slowly drain out of me. The last thing I heard was Andy’s sweet voice singing to me.



Jake’s POV

Sammi frantically called us telling us that Andy Dawn ran out of the house. 45 minutes later after no luck of finding her, she tweeted a picture of an outfit she was wearing. She looked exactly like her dad. Blowing up the picture, I figured out that she was in her room. Driving there, CC broke almost every speeding law possible. Thank god the universe was in our favor, no cops pulled us over. We got through the gates and then ran into the house. We figured she was up stairs and ran up to her room. Opening her door, we found her lying next to her bed, unconscious. CC immediately called 911 while I attempted to stop her bleeding. Once I had pressure and it slowed down, I saw a bottle of empty pills and then quickly stuck my fingers down her throat. She threw up a bunch of pills and what smelt like whiskey.

I held her clothes and felt her pulse. It was weak but it was still there. The ambulance came and I went with her. CC locked the door and ran out to his car and followed behind us. When we got there, I gave all the necessary information and then had CC call Sammi. She was crying after we told her and then she said she found a letter from Andy Dawn. Everyone then met us at the hospital and we plotted where we could find Ash. Sammi passed the letter around and we all cried. No one could locate Ashley. A doctor came out and told us what they did.

Her stomach was pumped and her wrists were stitched up and she had a blood put into her and was now stable. It was in her favor that she would be waking up. Only one of us was aloud in at the time while she was still out cold. They all sent me first. Sitting down beside her, my heart broke. I knew all to well what it was like to wake up here. Holding her hand, I said, “oh Andy Dawn. What have you done? When you wake up, I promise we will all be right here. Right now, you wake up and get better.” I sat with her a few minutes before my time was up. Going back to the guys, we all hugged.

I held Jinxx in my arms as she cried. She knew what was going on, we couldn’t hide it from her. Sammi had Kellin and Andy had Eve. CC still couldn’t get a hold of Ash. No one could. Call after call, he didn’t pick up. We were worrying and panicking. The TV in the waiting room then went from some court show to a news channel with breaking news.


The reporter said, “hello Don, I am on site of a car accident that happened little over an hour ago. A witness said a truck was driving on the southbound side of the rode when it then crashed into a car on the northbound direction. The car hit flipped upside down and then off the rode and down a mountain. People who saw the crash immediately stopped and got out to check on the person in the car that went down the hill. The car hit was a 2013 black Chevy equinox. The driver has not been identified. The information also released was that he is a male in his late twenties, early thirdies. . If anyone has information on the driver, please call LAPD.”We all looked to each other and then at the TV. Jinxx dialed the number provided and we all held out breath as he talked with the authorities.

I hope you liked it, I threw it in last minute so it wasn't a part of the chapter until I saw the message right before I published. :) anything else anyone wants to see? let me know!
