As Andy started to look at my wounds I decided to play all of my songs on my phone.

"Why do you do this Jade??" He asked, his fingers tracing over the fresh "DIE".

I flinched at the touch, and looked down in shame. "Well... I can't help part of it, there's things-voices in my head that take over sometimes and make me do this, the other part is so that I know that I can feel, because of other people's words, and so I don't try to kill myself..." I trailed off.

"Oh. Well I'm going to make sure that you can come to me, not your blade, okay?"

"Okay." I replied, stunned at what he said.

Just as Andy finished wrapping up the last cuts, Far Away by Nickelback came on.

I walked into my room, Andy in tow, and plugged my phone into the speakers that I brought.

"I love this song..." I said quietly.

"Yeah, it's pretty good." Andy replied, looking like it was the first time he heard this song.

By the time the song was over Andy was swaying along with the sweet music coming from the speakers, suddenly he walked over and restarted it, then came back and held his hand out for me.

"Would you like to dance?" He asked, his deep voice quiet.

I only nodded as I was pulled up. I wrapped my arms around his neck the best I could with a cast, at that same time, I felt a warm pair of arms around my waist, and we started to turn in slow, swaying circles.

Right at the end of the end of the song I lifted my head from Andy's chest, and looked into those crystal blue eyes, we both started to lean in. Before I knew it, my lips were on his and electricity coursed though my veins, slowly making its way to my heart, which was going a million miles a minute. It seemed perfect, just a sweet innocent kiss, no longer than five seconds, but it was still amazing.
