We Can Leave it All Behind

I woke up screaming and crying. All I wanted was to feel Andy's arms around me, for them to comfort me.

Then I decided to do something stupid. I called him.

"Hello," a groggy broken voice answered.

"Andy?" I whimpered.

"Baby," he breathed.

"I'm so fucking sorry!" I sobbed.

"What made you go?"

"I don't even know. I think it was a panic attack. I couldn't help myself, I just left!"

"Jadyn Alexandria Long, I love you to bits. I miss you so much."

"I love and miss you too. Can you come visit?" I asked shyly.

"Of course. Where are you?"

"I'm, uh, I'm in Tennessee..."

"WHAT?! How did you get all the way to the other side of the country?"

"I flew..."

"You've had that much money saved?"

"Yeah..."

"Wow."

"But can you visit? I'm in Nashville."

"Of course." He breathed, I could hear the smile.

"Good." I giggled.

"I love you Jade. Pretend I'm nuzzling your neck," he laughed.

"I love you too Andy. Pretend I'm kissing your cheek," I smiled, most likely blushing.

"I'll see you in a day or two. I'll text you and let you know."

"Alright. Love you, see you soon."

"Love you too, see you not soon enough."

And just like that, all my fears vanished. I got dressed and went downstairs. I saw Emma making breakfast.

"Hey Em?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"Could you take me to the shops today? I want some clothes, and I want to get my hair done."

"Sure, we can go when we're done with breakfast."

"Thanks!"

"Sure thing!"
