We Can Leave it All Behind

"Alright! Let's go to the barn!" Emma exclaimed.

"Okay." I laughed.

We got up from the table, out the door, across the yard, and to the barn door.

"You're gonna need these." Emma stated, shoving a pair of muck boots into my hands.

I set the boots down and slipped out of my combat boots and into the mucks.

"Ready!" I exclaimed.

Emma turned and slid open the barn door.

My eyes bulged out of my head. Her barn was huge! 10 pigs, 20 cows, 20 sheep, and two beautiful horses.

"Oh my god!" I said breathily.

"Do you want to see your horse?"

"Yes!" I exclaimed.

As we walked towards the horse stalls. There was one black horse and one white.

Emma walked over to the black one and said, "This is Jessamine, she's yours to ride.

"Thank you so much." I said.

"You're welcome." She smiled warmly.
