"Are you ready?" Ashley asked before I got on stage. "Not at all." I said to him. "You'll be fine." Andy said. "I always am." he added. "Yeah, but your used to it... I've never been on stage before." I said. "I'm drunk off my ass so it's pretty much the same right?" He smirked. I rolled my eyes. I saw that he already had something in his hands that was probably achohol. "Gimme that." I said taking a big gulp. "Whoo. Okay. Now I'm good" I said, shaking off the fire and dizziness. I kissed Ashley and hugged the other guys, and walked on stage. "Dont mess up, dont mess up" I mumbled to myself. I walked to the microphone and looked at the audiance, they were cheering like crazy already. I began to play a chord progression while I did my intro.
"Hi everyone, I'm Josh... Josh Hope. Before I began touring with these boys, I was really messed up. Alot of problems. But they took me in, and welcomed me. And now I'm awesome! I'm performing for thier wonderful army" cheering "and living life set on high. And I would also like to tell you this. I was just a fan, and now I live with them." I stopped my progression. "Never give up!" I yelled. They cheered like crazy. I laughed and began to play "Still Into You." by paramore. The boys hooked me up with a last minute band, so i could run around stage too. I flipped my guitar around and grabbed the mic, running onto the left side of the stage. I should be over all the butterflies.. I'm into you. And baby even on our worst nights, I'm into you I sang, touching hands along the way. I finished and the crowd roared. "Thank you." I said smiling. "Can I let you in on a secret guys?" I asked playfully, but the crowd responded yes. "That song, was the first song I've ever performed" They cheered. "So.. if your getting this on camera, or you got the song. You can tell all your friends that you saw Josh Hope perform for the first time in her 17 year life." I told them. They screamed some more. I finished my set and smiled at the audiance. It felt amazing to have them screaming for me. I was never giving this up. "Thank you, you guys have been amazing. And there will be a meet and greet after the show in the parking lot. Show up there and I'll sign anything you want. I think the boys even threw together some demo CDs against my will. So, thank you and I'll see you after the show." I said turning and walking off the stage.
