Esther POV


Zain was the best thing that had happened in my life since moving to Camp W. He had just moved in with me and let me tell you, nights were amazing! I looked back to my incident with Andy and regretted nothing I had said to him.

After Ashley had pulled me out of the fire we had become really close. When Zain was out of the camp he would be there to comfort me when Cat's bitch of a boss was making her work. Cat always tried to warn me that Ashley was just trying to "get in my pants." Well she didn't actually say that but that's what she meant.

Today Zain was working a double shift and I was bored at home with Jinxx not needed my help today. He said he might even take the day off. I was getting really bored and decided to go hunt for people to talk to. I walked around admiring the things people were selling. The food that I could smell from the court yard smelled better than any other day. I smiled when I saw Ashley waving at me.

I walked over to him and he offered me a drink, I had wondered into a bar. I sure as hell wasn't going to turn down a drink so I let him buy me one...or two...or three...okay he bought me five. But I had a strong stomach and it took a lot to get me drunk. Ashley and I had a blast at the bar, seeing how fast we could take a shot, he won. By the time he said he wanted to leave I was feeling a little tipsy. I let him walk me out of the bar and we wondered around the shops trying on all the jewelry we came across, laughing at the other when we looked stupid with whatever we had tried on.

It was getting dark and I was ready to go sleep my drunk ass off. Ashley offered to walk me home and make sure I didn't pass out on the way. When we reached my front door I turned to him and hugged him.

"I had fun!" I laughed.

He hugged me back just as hard as I had. "I did too!"

I pulled away and we stared at each other. He smirked and leaned forward. Being drunk and all I just kept smiling and stood there. He continued to get closer and that was when I stared to see what was happening, but it was too late.

He pressed his lips against mine and held me to him. I was too shocked at first to do anything. My eyes were wide open and he kept me there for at least 10 seconds.

"Ashley!" I said threw the kiss wanting him off of me.

I succeed him shoving him away from me. He took a step back surprised. "I thought you wanted it?"

"What the hell! No! Ashley I'm dating Zain." I yelled wanting to slap him so bad.

"Oh," he rubbed the back of his neck. "Well dating someone doesn't mean that..."

Someone cut him off, "Esther?! What the fuck?!" I heard Zain yell.

I turned to see Zain. His eyes were watery and his fist were clenched. "No! It's not what it looks like!" I walked to Zain but he back away.

"I don't care! You kissed him!" Ashley just stood there not knowing what to say.

I wanted Ashley to say something, defend me. "He kissed me! I pushed..."

"We're done! Okay?! Done!" Zain stormed off .

"No, Zain!" I tried to go after him but frankly I was too drunk to see straight. "Why didn't you say anything?" I asked Ashley who had disappeared. "I'm sorry!" I yelled in the direction of where Zain left, tears starting to stream down my face.

Cat was right, and Zain was royally pissed at me. I wasn't the one who kissed him though! I stumbled into my house gasping for air from the tears that had started a waterfall down my cheeks. I made it to the couch and curled in a ball. I began to explain what happened to an invisible Zain. How drunk I had gotten and apparently had given Ashley the wrong idea.

I hadn't even noticed Cat until she sat by me and brought me into her arms rocking back and fourth. That had made me cry even more. I tried to speak words she could understand but she shushed me.

"You were right," was all I was able to get out. "You were so right."
