Moving
"I found the guy..."
That phrase kept on repeat in my had as Coma tried to explain how he found the guy who was most likely apart of everything that has had to do with Esther and I dieing. Did that mean that we were safe now? That I didn't have to treat anyone and everyone like they want to kill me? Could I officially start my new life?
"Catherine?" Coma brought me out of my day dream.
"What?" I asked.
"I don't actually have him..."
"But I thought you said you found him!?" I yelled.
"Yes, I found him. I know who he is I just have to find a way to put him in the cage without Andy knowing the real reason." He calmed me down and sat me on the couch. "I will do everything I can to make sure this guy pays and will never, ever hurt you again!"
The rest of the morning Coma and I were going over plans to track this guy down and hold him somewhere Andy won't find out. This whole lying ordeal had gotten way out-of-hand. I debated with Coma about whether to tell Andy.
"Well now you can't! If you told him now he would be pissed at you and everyone else who was involved!" I understood him, "it's too late to tell him..."
"What if he does find out and none of us told him?!"
"Then tell him! I will leave it to you whether you think he should know." Coma wasn't helping at all.
Coma left with different scenarios running through my head about what I was going to or not going to tell Andy. I paced the living area until I finally looked at the clock and saw I was an hour late for work! I rushed out the door and to the shop. My boss was of course furious but was impressed that I didn't give her any excuse, just that I lost track of time.
The business day was as usual and I cautiously watched the customers who bought things. Looking to see if they had any sign of hate on their faces toward me. Andy had come to see me and that made my boss even more furious at me. Both of us laughed it off when she stormed out to greet another customer with a happy smile just seconds after screaming her head off. She called boyfriends "unnecessary human contact." She was a nut case that was for sure.
This time I wasn't going to spend the night at Andy's and Zain was still embarrassed about this morning to see me so he stayed home as well which Esther wasn't too happy about. Andy had come by after dinner was over and Esther and I were cleaning plate.
"Can you get the door?" I asked Esther.
Andy came in and offered to help with the dishes. I told him to just sit down and relax.
"Why can he stay over but my boyfriend can't because he's afraid to look you in the eye?" Esther asked.
"He's not staying over." I said not really knowing why Andy was here.
"That's actually why I came over." Andy said standing.
"What, to spend the night?" Esther and I asked.
"No, to avoid awkward confrontations with either Esther seeing me in an awkward situation or you seeing Zain naked...again why don't you move in with me and Zain can move in here?" Andy said smiling.
Esther's eyes lit up and a huge smile grew on her face. "Yeah! That sounds like a great idea! so now Cat can't scold me for being too loud." Esther shot a look at me.
I hesitated knowing that Esther was not yet aware of the threat against both of our lives. But she would be safer with Zain, wouldn't she? And I would be safer with Andy? Andy's face dropped worried at my hesitation. I could see him getting nervous for asking. I stopped what I was doing and walked over to him. We were just inches apart.
"Andy, I think that would be a wonderful idea." I smiled and he smiled in turn.
"Awesome! So do you want to move in tonight or..." he trailed off.
"Tonight!" Esther yelled.
"All you want is to have loud sex!" I yelled back.
"Hell yeah!"
Andy laughed, "well Zain was pretty excited about that part too." He looked back to me and wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer. "What about you? Want to move in with me tonight?"
I smirked, "only if you promise not to steal my clothes when I take showers."
"Agreed!" Andy exclaimed.
Esther was literally jumping up and down for joy. She ran out the door probably going to tell Zain the good news. For a second I wanted to stop her knowing that the treat could be out there waiting for her. Andy pulled me to my room wanting to get this process on the road. He sat on my bed watching me put all of my clothes, which wasn't very many, in a bag. I also shoved a few personal belongings I had like a glass rose my father had given me on my fifth birthday into my bag as well.
When we were about to walk out the door to Andy's house Zain and Esther burst threw with bags of Zain's things. Esther still had a huge smile on her face and Zain matched hers. I laughed at their enthusiasm and knew that I should be feeling the same way but my threat was still on my mind.
I set my bags down on the floor of my new house and Andy stretched out his arms as if wanting a hug. "Welcome home!"
I laughed as he pulled me into a bear hug. He flung me over his shoulder and I hit his back wanting down. He threw me on the couch. He sat down on one end and I laid on the couch resting my head on his lap. He smiled down at me moving strands of hair from my face.
"Now we can be one big happy family!" I stretched out my arms.
Andy laughed but then his tone got serious. "Catherine, can I be honest with you?"
He worried me, "of course."
"I want it to just be the two of us. I don't want to bring any kids into the hell hole."
My face dropped. I had always dreamed of having my own family with tons of kids to laugh and be happy with. I turned my gaze away from him and focused on fiddling with my fingers. "I understand..." I didn't though.
"If we were under different circumstances with a better life then..." he tried to get me to understand.
"I know," I couldn't say anything else.
"Babe," he trailed off.
"It's okay, maybe one day, while we're still alive F.E.A.R.s reign will end. We can have a family then?" I was just trying to cheer myself up.
He nodded with small smile. I got up and went to transfer the things from my bag to where I was going to be spending the rest of my life. Andy came up and hugged me from behind.
"Do that tomorrow? Get some sleep." He trailed kisses down my neck.
I gave in and cuddled in bed with him. His warmth was all I needed to feel safe. His smell soothed me more than anything. He kissed my forehead before saying good night and resting his head next me mine. I laid my hand on his chest and felt it go up and down with his breathing. I was home...but not safe.

A few days after moving in with Andy, Esther and I always made it a point to have lunch or dinner with each other everyday. Jake and Ashley would eat with us most days. I could still tell that Ashley wanted Esther in more ways than just friends and I worried sometimes. I had tried to warn Esther about that but she refused to listen to me 110% of the time I talked about Ashley.
Today was different. Instead of meeting with Esther I bumped into Coma. He looked flustered. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing," it was like he was snapping out of a day dream. "Have you seen Jake?"
"No, Coma what happened?"
"Nothing!" He tried to move past me but I wouldn't let him.
I saw Esther waving to me wanting me to go over to her. "Listen, Esther doesn't know a thing about the threat. So keep making a scene and I'll be sure you're the one to tell her her life's in danger again." I whispered.
He hesitated not wanting to tell me whatever it was. "He's gone, the guy who threatened you. He left camp this morning. Some people were saying that he went to be apart of..."
"Be apart of what!?" He was talking to slow.
"Be apart of F.E.A.R.s army okay?!"
My mouth dropped and I let Coma leave. Now he could be even more dangerous than he was when he was here. Now he had F.E.A.R. on his side...and what this camp was doing in rebel of F.E.A.R. What have I done?
