Catherine POV


Esther was finally able to be given a duty once her cut had turned into a scar. She was placed in the doctor room with Jinxx after she had announced she had no problem with blood and she liked to help people. They must have needed people in that department. I was moved jobs because I killed the plants. I was now in a small shop selling shirts and jackets. I had no problem I actually liked this better than being in the garden.

Some nights Esther would invite Zain over for dinner and other times she would leave with him. I didn't want to know what they were up to. These past few weeks I had only seen Andy when he was in the court yard getting food and he wasn't able to talk at that time. When he did have time we would only talk about small things like "how was your day" and "the weather is crazy huh?" I wanted so bad for us to talk about something...more.

I had just walked threw the door at the end of the day and was getting dinner ready when Esther burst threw the door. She had been doing really well with Jinxx and was really liking her job but she was never this excited about it.

"You better not have any plans for the night!" She said coming into the kitchen and putting away the pans I had just gotten out to cook with.

"Hey! What if I did?" I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Well you don't anymore." She had a big smile on her face.

"What?" I asked lowering my arm to my sides.

"We're going to have dinner with Zain and Andy!"

We could finally have a real conversation. "Uh when?" Was all I could ask.

"In a few hours." She opened a bag that she had in her arms. "I got us both new shirts!" She held up a blue lacy one that looked loosely fitting.

She handed it to me. I held it up tracing the lace on the front. It was beautiful but how did she afford this? "How did you get this?" I asked seeing her pull out a black lacy shirt that was similar to mine, hers had sleeves though.

"Ashley bought them for me!" I knew that Ashley had some kind of a crush on her and I didn't think he meant to buy her that so she could impress another guy.

"Wow," was all I could get out.

"Wash up and try it on!" She yelled running to her room obeying her own commands.

I walked to my room and rinsed my arms and face and brushed out my hair. I slid the shirt on.

"You look sexy!" Esther put her tongue between her teeth.

"You do too Ez!" I said seeing the shirt on her.

"Come one let's go then! They're waiting for us." She took my hand and we walked toward what I guess was Zain and Andy's house, I had never been there.

His house looked just like the rest. His door had a small cross on the front differing it from the rest. Esther knocked on the door and a happy Zain opened it. He stretched out his arms with a smile on his face taking in what Esther was wearing.

"Damn babe! You look awesome." He kissed her cheek then gave me a compliment as well. "And might I say you look pretty awesome too." I smiled.

"Wow..." I heard Andy say under his breath as he walked into the living area looking me up and down.

I couldn't help but blush. "So who's hungry?" Zain asked.

Andy came over to me and gave me a hug. "You clean up nice." He whispered in my ear.

I pulled away and gave him a quick smile. "I am!" Esther announced.

"You always are!" I responded to her remark.

"Well let's eat!" Andy said clasping his hands together.

They had a rectangular table with six chairs. Esther and Zain sat on one side of the table and Andy and I on the other. The food they fixed was incredible, Zain must have got it from Cho. Dinner was fun too. I would catch Andy looking at me he would turn away when I looked to him. I would breath out laughs and he would just dig back into his food. I felt happy. I felt home.

"So, how do you like doctoring?" Andy asked Esther once Zain had gone into the kitchen to get dessert.

"I love it! You can meet a lot of really interesting people to say the least." She laughed, "Jinxx is really nice too. I can see that he loves to help people and he's been an amazing doctor!"

"Yeah, he's a nice guy. That's why he's my right hand man." Andy smiled.

"So we have cake!" Zain said entering the dinning room with a plate with four slices of cake on it.

He handed one to Esther, Andy, me, then his own plate. Esther and I had never had pastry's before and the boys laughed at our expressions when we took the first bite. I knew my face looked the same as Esther's, wide eyed and amazed. Andy almost fell off his chair laughing so hard when both of us began to hurry and get the cake in our mouths.

When dinner was over Zain turned to Esther. "So..." Esther looked down, "wanna spend the night?" Zain asked.

"No! Not again! I need my sleep thank you." Andy shouted knowing exactly what they meant.

I laughed and stood up from my chair. Andy stood with me and walked me to the living area while Esther and Zain said their good nights.

"I had a really good time." I said turning to see him smirking.

"Yeah, me too. We should do it again sometime?" He said coming closer.

"Of course."

"Well...have a good night." He smirked.

"You too," I pushed on his arm making him stumble back slightly.

He came closer to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. He was so tall so I had to get on my tip toes. When he pulled away he placed a soft delicate kiss on my lips. I kissed back still holding onto his neck and his arms still around my waist.

When we heard a wolf whistle from the direction of the dinning room we broke the kiss and backed away. "Shut up," Andy said to his brother who was giving him a huge smile.

Esther had a big smile on her face too. "Come on you have time to kiss each other later. I'm tired." She said walking out of their house.

When we got back home all I could think about was how Andy's lips felt, so soft, so...amazing. I sighed and crawled in bed taking off my pants first and putting on a shirt to sleep in. Esther stood in my doorway.

"So, you glad you went?" She winked.

"Yes! I am!" I said throwing a pillow at her.

"No need to be aggressive," she threw the pillow back. "Good night, sweet dreams." she closed my door.

I blew out the candle and laid down. I bit my lip wanting to kiss Andy so bad again. I sighed and rolled onto my side gripping the pillow wishing that it could have been Andy instead of a stupid pillow. I drifted off to sleep knowing that this was home...finally home...
