Meet the family

"What's on the agenda for today?" Jade asked me as she hoped on to the counter while I made breakfast for the rest of the mob. It's been 3 days since my birthday and I've already gotten my prank kit taken away because I may or may not have put pink food coloring in Jakes shampoo and his hair may or may not have turned bright pink. So I don't think I will ever get that back, but it was worth it to see Jake with pink hair. I finished cooking and put everything on the table and Jake came down with jet black hair again "You are sooo lucky that the dye washed out." He stated glaring at me and I just flashed him my innocent smile "JAKE, YOUR HAIR ISN'T PINK ANYMORE!!" I heard 4 male voices and Sammi yelled as they stared at him from the door way. I laughed and we sat down and ate in silence.

Once we were finished cleaning up we all went into the front room to watch TV and we were about halfway through a marathon of Tyler Perry's 'Love Thy Neighbor' { This is one of my favorite shows.} when Dad's phone rang, he moved my head off of his shoulder so he could get up and went into the other room. He came back in 5 minutes later and clapped his hands "Okay listen up gang, That was Jon and he said that he has yet to meet Jade and Independence and he would like to meet them and he wants to talk about the up coming tour. So he made reservations for 9 people at some expensive restaurant at 7 o'clock and won't take no for an answer." Once Dad had stopped talking we all dramatically turned our heads towards the clock to see that it was 4:30 and we all looked at each other and ran up the stairs into what we thought was our rooms, once we realized that we were all in the wrong rooms we all walked out claiming the right rooms. "We must dress nice! Which means that we will have to put on monkey suits and dresses!" Jinxx yelled.

Sammi, Jade, the guys and I were ready to go by 6 and the guys looked pretty funny in their monkey suits [tuxedos]. CC was the funniest because he was tugging on his tie and complaining while Jinxx looked kind of annoyed and Jade and I were mad because we had to wear dresses. 10 minutes we climbed into the clown car and Sammi's car and in the clown car it was me and dad in the front and Jake, and Andy in the back and Sammi had Jinxx, CC and Jade. On the way to the restaurant we jammed out to Motionless In White, we got to the restaurant at 6:50 and we saw Jon sitting there outside the restaurant in a tux. "Okay, please don't break anything." Jon said to the boys as he was walking up "Yeah, and NO dumping soda on people, Independence." CC said looking at me. Poor Jon, Jade and Sammi looked so confused. "Jon the demon with blue eyes and jet black hair is Independence and the demon with the green eyes and brown hair is Jade." Andy said putting an emphasis on the word 'demon' "Why do you call them demons?" Jon asked and Dad simply replied "Because they are." Gee love you too Dad.

We went into the restaurant to find a British man in a suit with a posh accent waiting for us, when he seats us I end up between Dad and CC. "May I ask you 2 some questions?" Jon asked, Jade and I looked at each other and shrugged "Why not." we said at the same time "Where were you born and how did you end up in the orphanage" was his first question.
"Well I was born in Tennessee and we moved right to a small town in southern California after I was born and that's where my mom met Miss Kate, who runs the orphanage, and my parents were shot when I was 9 months old and so I've been in the orphanage practically my whole life." I explained as every ones but Jade looked at me in shock. "I didn't know that they were shot. I just figured that they died in a fire or something." Dad said as he gave me a hug. "What about you Jade?" Jon asked softly.

"I was born in New Mexico and I was the outcast of the family, the rest of my family liked rap and had grey eyes and platinum blonde hair and I had brown hair and green eyes and listened to rock, my family hated me and locked me in my room and one day, when I was 3, they came in, told me to get my stuff ready because they we going to take me to an orphanage. I had been adopted 2 times before and I was abused both time and here I am." She said with a sad smile on her face. Once again all the guys and Sammi stared at her in shock and Jinxx who was to the left of her gave her a hug.

We talked some more before our food came out and we tried to eat it but it was gross, it was like fish eggs and raw liver, next thing I know CC has a monster in his hand and he filled his wine glass to the brim with monster "Where did you get that?" I asked him and he replied "I had 2 in my jacket you want the other?" while pulling another one out of his jacket and offered it to me and of course I took it. We sat there drinking monster before CC decided that it was WAY too silent so we started to sing 'Bad girls club' by falling in reverse and next thing we know we are singing too, which got us kicked out. We ran for the door and hopped in the cars like the place was on fire.

We were laughing the whole way to McDonalds and the best part was that we didn't get a speech from Jinxx. I bet we looked weird coming in in dresses and monkey suits because every one in the McDonalds stopped and stared at us "Look peoples I know I'm pretty and all but I'm 14 and illegal." I said looking around as people turned back to there food and started to eat while the rest of the mob was laughing. After was finished laughing we ordered our food and sat down. Once we were done eating we threw our stuff away and went home, once we got home we the first thing that we did was change into our pajamas.

"What movie are we going to watch?" Jake asked as he plopped down on to the couch, and of course Andy was the first to answer "Bat-" "NO!" We all yelled at the same time. "Hm... Media?" Sammi suggested from the loveseat as she snuggled into Jinxx's left side as he pulled Jade into his right and kissed both of their temples. We agreed on 'Media goes to jail' and the rest of us sat on the couch. Dad sat down next to me and I instantly put my head on his shoulder.

Half way through the movie I look over to see Jade, Jinxx and Sammi all asleep, Sammi is snuggled into his left side and he has his left arm around her and Jade is snuggled into his right side and he has his right arm around her and his head is on top of Jade's, since I think that it is adorable I get up and take a picture and then I sat on the couch and put my head in Dad's lap and my feet in Andy's. I was watching the movie when I felt a hand start to play with my hair, I looked up to see Dad looking watching the movie and once he felt me looking at him he looked down at me and smiled.

I heard the clicks of 3 cameras, I looked up to see Jake, CC, and Andy with their iPhones out taking pictures of Dad and I and Jinxx, Jade, and Sammi. I rolled my eyes while shaking my head. Once the movie was over every one but me and Andy were asleep, as we walked up stairs we talked about the movie. "Night lil' sis" He said as he kissed my forehead and I yawned and said "Night brother."

I crawled into bed thinking about every thing that has happened before realizing that my life is never going to be normal, and you know what? I'm okay with that. I fell asleep after that final thought.
