"We Are Not Shitty Parents"
"I don- I don't know! S-s-she just-st woke up-p and s-s-aid m-my name." I tried to explain to Carressa's doctor.
He had said that with the way her brain flow was going she was awake a whole two months early. And that they have to do tests on her brain , to make she she hasn't gone basically physio. He explained this to me , but the information really wasn't sinking in. But you know what was sinking in? The wake that my baby was alive and well , she can start recovery and everything will go back to normal!
"....So she'll be here for at least 4 more weeks." Dr. House finished explaining , I had zoned out half way threw. But I guess that smile plastered on my face was enough to tell him I understood.
He wanted to talk to Carressa alone to explain some stuff , so I took this as the opportunity to call Ashley and Kellin. I dialed Ashley's number first , knowing he always had his phone in case I called about Carressa , I never did , my silent streak is still going. The phone rang twice before his voice boomed threw the speaker.
"Oh god , you never call , did something bad happen to her?" Ashley said panicking.
"No." My voice cracked , this was the first time in 8 weeks I've talked , I cleared my throat an continued. "She's awake. And from how it seems everything is fine with her brain. He doctors with her now , they have to do tests on her because she's awake two months before schedule."
There was a moment of silence before Ashley responded.
"Why do they have to do tests if she's back?! Oh my god this is great! Andy get the car going , Carressa's up babe! This is amazing news Austin , we'll be there soon! But really , why the tests?" I laughed at Ashes enthusiasm.
"Just to make sure she's , you know , right in the head. Not crazy or anything , sense she's up early." I said trying to explain off of what little I listened to of the doctors speech.
"We're on out way!" And Ashley hung up. Leaving me with more to say. I want to have all our friends here for her fisrt day awake. Thousands of people have been worried about her. I'll just explain it to Ashley when he gets here.
I sat in a chair smiling at the nurse who always sneaks me around.
"Well , Austin , out of the room... And smiling! Whats the occasion?" Sh asked sitting beside me , setting her clipboard on her lap. We had grow close , and even though I never talked , she talked to me , letting out all her frustrations and problems. Just someone to listen to them , is all people want.
"Carressa's out of her coma Rachel! She's back!" I said smiling bigger , if it was even possible.
"Oh my god Austin! Thats great!" She threw her arms around me , I put mine around her back. "I've got to get going though. My shift ends at 6 , stay , I want to met the lucky gal , okay?" She smiled standing ,I nodded my head as she stared walking away.
"Oh , and Austin?" She stoped in the hall turning her torso to me , but keeping her legs forward.
"Hmm?"
"I picked your voice to be deeper." She smirked at me and turned into a room.
I pulled out my phone , I had to tell Kellin. But he hasn't talked to me sense he too, think this is my fault. So I just texted him.
To: Kelly
Carressa's awake. Come if you want.
From: Kelly
thats amazing :D but y didnt u tell me earlier asshole
I sighed at Kellin's horrible test talk before replying.
To: Kelly
She just got up. He doctors with her. Just come , yeah?

I slide my phone in my pocket to see Dr.House finally leaving Carressa's room. I stood in his presence to show respect. He nodded at me and continued down the hall. I turned into Carressa's room. She was smiling at me , oh God how I've missed her smile. I returned the favor , she scrunched her face in an adorable way and made grabby hands at me.
I ran to her , without a doubt I ran faster than I ever have. She wrapped her arms around my neck the second I was in her reach , pulling me on top of her , I lost balance and lander on her with a 'Ompff' , we laughed a while. God I missed her laugh , it was like Heaven.
I hosted myself back up laying with my forearms on either side of her head. We starred at each other awhile , she looked deep into my eyes , like she was reading my soul. 'I missed you' she mouthed out before pulling me into a kiss.
Probably the best kiss of my life. It was dry , and crusty , and soft , but it was the best fucking kiss we've ever shared. I deepen it before she pulls away. We stare at eachother a little longer. In a comfortable silence.
"I really didn't cheat on you baby." I whispered , I'm an idiot for bringing this up yes , but I also need her to know and understand.
"Babe , I know. And even if you did , thats only one mistake. compared to all the amazing things you have done , I'd stay with you because of that , and not leave you because of one little whore that couldn't stay off of you. I love you to much to do that. I really do. I really love you." Carressa reached up and wiped a tears off my cheek , I never even noticed I was crying until then.
I crawled off of her and sat down beside her , intertwining our hands , tracing small circles on her hand.
"So what did the doctor say?"
TIME LAPSE *Two Hours*
All our friends were here celebrating Carressa. It was a lot of people in one hospital room , and I'm pretty sure this isn't allowed , but Rachel's got it covered.
The people here? Oh just band members , Carressa stopped hanging out with her normal friends because they were only still around her for attention. All of Black Veil Brides is here , all of All Time Low (Carressa had grow very close to them , fitting in with there crazy behavior) , all of Sleeping With Sirens , then a few odd people. Like Tony and Vic from Pierce the Veil , Danny for Asking Alexandria , Oli and Matt from Bring Me The Horizon , and Alan , from my band.
We were just sitting around talking and just having an all together good time , everyone was laughing and joking and getting along. Usually there is fighting in between different bands , but no today. Today everyone was celebrating. Celebrating that fact that they all know an angel. This day couldn't even begin to be bad.
But boy was I wrong!
"CARRESSA MARIE JUNABEE PURDY!? WHY DID YOU WERE IN THE HOSPITAL?!" Everyone jumoed turning to the door to see none other , than Carressa and Ashley's parents standing flushed in the doorway.
You may of think her dad yelled his in a loving way , and ran to hug her , but nope , you'd be wrong. His voice boomed with rage , and he stormed in slamming his fists down on the bed.
"AND YOU! ASHLEY ABROCKET PURDY! WE LEFT YOU IN CHARGE OF HER! HOW DARE YOU NOT CALL US YOU STUPID FUCKING FAGGOT! I 'OUGHT TO KILL YOU RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!" Carressa's mom boomed in slapping Ashley across the face.
"Hey! I think thats enough! Candie doesn't need this stress you fucking knob heads!" Danny said looking at Carressa's parents.
"You have no right to talk to us that way!" Carressa's mom yelled marching towards Danny. For a 4 foot woman , she had a lot of back bone.
"And you have no right to come in here like you own the place and treat Ash and Carressa like that! You know , I've only met you guys once before this , and I can safety say I don't like you at all. When we got married I figured I would get a second family. But holy hell I was wrong! You guys are the worst fucking parents I've met! And I've met a lot of shitty parents! If you were just going to cause stress on Carressa and make her feel horrible and treat her like shit AFTER a suicide attempt , you can fucking leave! None of us want you here! We were having a good goddamn time until you guys came and fucked it up!" Ashley finally took a breath after exploding at there parents.
All of us clapped , we clapped louder than thought humanly possible with the few people here. Andy stood his ground though , glaring at Carressa's dad , not even noticing the claps.
"We are not shitty parents." There mom spoke up.
"Yes you are! You left me to become a woman on my own! I'm fucking 22 now and you've never even said 'I Love You' once to me in my life! You used to send money so that you wouldn't have to come to us! And when you did come you do this! Or that time at our party at your house! And you're constantly beating us when you see us! And calling em a 'druggie' and a 'slut' . Ashley a 'queer' and 'fagot' and 'disappointment' ! I tried so many times to be a good daughter but you ignored me right to my face , but when I stopped-stopped giving you the attention yo u wanted you do stuff like this , to get it again! I'm sick and fucking tired of it! I want you out of my life! Now! Leave! Never come back! Never contact me! Never attempt to contact me! Never even think abut me! Pretend like I don't exist! Cause I already don't to you! But you know what you don't exist to me either anymore! Fuck!" Carressa slammed her hands down on her bed.
I walked over to her and pulled her into a hug , she buried her head in my chest , not crying , just wanting to be comforted.
"I think you should go." I whispered to her parents , when she finally started crying.
"We'll be back tomorrow to finish this conversation." Her dad grabbed her moms arm roughly and pulled her out of the room.
I looked at everyone , they understood. They all left saying goodbye to Carressa , leaving her and I , along with a crying Ashley and Andy to comfort him. I looked at my watch. 6 o'clock. Rachel's coming to meet Carressa , but I don't want her to see my little solider crying. As if to late she skips in , bright smile. But stops when she sees what going on. She points to the door she entered and I nod. Me being the only one that noticed her.
Carressa's parents can't come back tomorrow , she can't be stressed or treated like that so soon in recovering. They know the room , and I can't stop them. But someone else can. Someone who would do anything for me.
"Rachel! WAIT!" I yelled causing everyone to jump , she turned to me confused too , taking out an ear board that was blaring 'Wretched and Divine' making Ashley , Andy , and Carressa smile at Rachel's stunned expression when she looked at them.
He gaze went from them to me , she studied me , then her mouth made an 'o' shape.
Austin... As in Austin Carlile? The screamer from 'Of Mice&Men'? " She asked quietly , I nodded my head. "Awe man! I knew you looked familiar!" She said walking into the room.
"Yea , thats beside the point , right now I need you to do me a favor." She paused and nodded her head. "Okay , I need you to get Carressa transferred into another room , and to tell security not to let in a (A/N Ashley's parents names have never been released so these are made up) George and Fiona Purdy. Can you do that?" I asked pleading her with my eyes.
"Easy peesy lemon squeezy!" Rachel said in a sing song voice.
We all spent the rest of the night hanging out and talking with Rachel. Thats one problem out of the way , and now hopefully she can recover perfectly now. And we can go on with life as it was.

So , I made a really long chapter because I noticed mine were getting really short , and I hate short chapters.Doctor House was the only doctor I could think of , hahaha , so here , have this picture of him that is funny as shit!
Anyway , Ashley'd never told anyone his parents names , so I made my own. And as I promised , DRAMA!!!!
I'll be updating everyday from now on , I just wanna get this story over with. I feel like it's getting boring for you guys. Idk , is it? Lemme now.
