*TWO WEEKS LATER*
"Jake, I feel bad,"
"Why, Ivy?"
"I've been here for two weeks,"
"Okay?"
"I haven't done anything,"
"What would you need to do?"
"I don't know, clean, cook, something?"
"Help us write the last song. You've helped with the practice so much,"
"Hm.... well, okay,"
"Great! You're kind of a musical genius," he says.
"Shut up,"
"You're blushing," the rose color shades my face.
"I said shut up,"
"Let's go. Last practice and we're recording today and finalizing and all of that stuff,"
"And you don't have the last song down?"
"Nah,"
"Let's go!"
"Alright!" we both run out.
"So, wait, you like are finalizing EVERYTHING TODAY?!?!!? And you haven't like freaking gotten the last song down?"
"We'll do it today, it's only eight in the morning,"
"Jesus, seriously? I had no idea..." did I really lose such track of the time?
"Let's go! We've got a ton of stuff to do," and he drags me out to the car.
*THE RECORDING STUDIO*
"Watch how it's done, Ivy," Jake says, running into actual studio.
Let me just say it, today has been such a blur. I am so confused, a song was written somehow, and now it's being finalized while they rerecord another song called "Die For You" or something, I'm not sure. And, then they all wanna go get tattoos for their last song, "Fallen Angels". I am so exhausted. What feels like ten seconds after I get comfortable, they all fall out of the studio, Jake stops long enough to pick me up, throw me over his shoulder, and keep going.
"PUT ME DOWN!"
"Nah,"
"Fiiiiine,"
Two minutes later I'm dumped in a new car, with CC at the wheel.
"I called dibs, you're with me,"
"I'm an object now?"
"See, you're so cool, everyone wants you in their car, and I got you,"
"Ohhh, okay," why am I okay with this? I don't know. I don't care.
"To the tattoo parlor!" and we're off. When I almost crash, CC's cell goes off. "Can you check it,"
"Your passcode, stupid,"
"Two, seven, six, four,"
"Thanks. It's a text. It says "Warped Tour starting in a week!" from a Jon,"
"TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he whips into the parking lot.
"Tour?" they're leaving?
"Yeah, tour," he gets out of the car. My door falls open before I can unbuckle.
"Ivy! Hello!" Jake says happily. "Tour?"
"What about it?"
"Come with us?"
"I couldn't,"
"Why not? You don't even have a job,"
"Actually, I do,"
"And you've been off for two weeks and haven't gotten fired?"
"Yeah, well, it's online. I've been working from my phone,"
"So tour then,"
"Warped you say?"
"Yeah, that's the one,"
"Who else is playing? Anybody I would know?"
"I don't know, here's the list," I get handed a phone, and scroll through the flyer, and damn near pass out.
"B-Bowling For Soup.... is playing?"
"Apparently," Jake says.
"AND ALL TIME LOW," I launch out of CC's low little car, and wrap my arms around Jake's neck.
"And you've never heard of us?" Andy asks in disbelief.
"No," I say, smiling slowly. "Sorry. But, yes,"
"Yes?"
"I'll go. But what would I be doing?"
"Watching us side stage,"
"Let's get our tattoos," Ashley says, dragging the guys into the parlor. I follow inside.
"Hey guys! Oh, who's the little lady?"
"Ivy," I say quietly.
"I got Ash's call, I know why you guys are here. Why is she here though?"
"She's just here-,"
"I want a tattoo,"
"Well, I'll get the guys going, and send an artist your way, okay?"
"Um, yeah, sounds good," Jake shoots me a crazed look; he wasn't expecting that. They all have to go to the back, and a girl with black and pink short spiked hair comes out to me.
"Ivy? What was that tattoo you wanted?"
"Well, it's kind of crazy,"
