Alison:


Alison and Ashley had been together for a while. It all started out as fun and games until someone spilled the beans about feelings. Feelings were always the game breaker. He supported her up and coming band, he lifted her up when she was down, and most importantly, he was always there for her whenever she needed him.

“Hey, Ashley?” Alison called from the kitchen. “Could you help me with something really quick?”

Ashley hurried out into the kitchen to provide his assistance. He had been packing his things for the newest tour that BVB had just announced. “I have great news.” He grinned, helping her get a can down from the tallest shelf.

She smiled at his words. “Yeah? What would this great news be?” She pulled out a can opener and began working on the cap. When Ashley didn’t respond, she looked up to see him staring at her. “What?” She questioned, with a slight laugh.

“I need your full attention for this.” He informed her. He took her hands in his own. “Your band is our opening act for the new tour!”

Alison’s eyes widened and her mouth fell open. Her hands began to shake in Ashley’s hands and her knees grew weak. This was finally her chance to make it big. “Are you serious? You can’t be serious right now.”

Ashley opened his mouth to speak but the sound of Alison’s phone ringing cut him off. She looked down at the screen with a puzzled look but decided to answer anyway, out of curiosity.

“Hello?” She pressed her phone to her ear.

Yes, hello, is this Alison? A man’s voice sounded.

“This is she.” Alison gave Ashley a look as the man spoke.

Alison, my name is Rick. I work for Glory Records. I heard you were going on tour with Black Veil Brides. My colleagues and I researched your band and listened to a few demo songs you had released. We think you have excellent talent and a real shot at making it big. We’d like to sign you.

Alison almost dropped the phone. “Wow, are you serious? This is amazing!”

The man chuckled at her response. When you return from tour, I’ll set up an appointment for you and your band to come in and speak with an agent.

“Wonderful!” Alison exclaimed. “Thank you so much!”

After hanging up the phone, she looked at Ashley with complete euphoria in her eyes. “We’re getting signed!” She cheered, grabbing onto Ashley tightly.

He picked her up and spun her around once. “This is amazing!” He agreed. He put her back down on the ground and pulled out of the hug. “I actually had just a bit more good news.” He admitted, stepping back and getting down on one knee.

Alison’s eyes filled with tears. “Ashley,” She said.

“Alison, we’ve been together for so long and I can truly say that you’re the only one that I’ll ever love as much as I do right now. Your band is getting off the ground, and my band helped you get there. We’ve had good times and bad. Now, I want this to be forever.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a velvet black box with a diamond ring inside. “Will you marry me? We’ll be the saints of Los Angeles together, forever.”

Keep in mind the amount of one-shots I have backed up. Some people get anxious and ask me why theirs hasn't been posted yet but as you can see I have a lot of them to do and I keep getting more. I don't want to have to close submissions again so just keep in mind that I have a lot to do and I do have other things in my personal life to do as well. I can't just sit here and write all day for you. I'm 18 years old and I need to support myself and have a life outside of this. If I could, I would take this as my job but I can't.
