My Wounds Are Sewn Because Of Who You Are (for Jinxx_dose_not_aprove_of_you)
Ronnie had waited in line for two hours just to meet the five men who saved his life. They made him who he was today, and he was willing to do anything for them.
When the boys came out from their hiding place and entered under the tent, all the girls surrounding him shrieked. They were just here to drool over Andy’s good looks. He wanted to actually tell Jinxx about how he saved his life.
As he approached the tent, he looked down at the hand written letter in his shaking fingers. His eyes wandered up his arm and scanned his scars. He hoped Jinxx wouldn’t see them. He didn’t want him to be upset.
“Can I sign anything for you?” He heard someone ask.
He looked up and saw Jinxx smiling back at him. Ronnie smiled, and handed him the letter. “I just… I just wanted to give this to you.”
Jinxx took the letter from him and smiled. “Wow, man. Thanks a lot!” He extended his arms for a hug and Ronnie gladly accepted. Jinxx was his biggest hero. To get a hug from him was one of the most meaningful things in the world.
Ronnie moved down the line and met the rest of the band, but none of them meant more to him than Jinxx. He just wished he had more time to talk with him.

When the concert was over, Ronnie stood outside the venue and waited for his parents to show up. His phone was dead and he had no way of contacting them, but he didn’t think they would remember to pick him up anyway. They never remembered to pick him up from anything. This time though, it was too far and too dangerous to walk home. So he stood outside the venue alone, hoping that someone would save him.
“Hey, kid!” Someone yelled.
He looked around for the source of the voice and saw Jinxx running towards him. His hands grew shaky again and his mouth became dry.
“Are you alright? Do you have a ride? You’ve been standing out here for an awful long time.” Jinxx observed.
Ronnie shook his head. “My phone is dead and I’m sure my parents forgot I was even here. They always do that…” He hung his head and stared at the ground.
Jinxx thought for a moment. “Well, come with me. You can call your parents from the bus. And if they don’t answer, we’ll take you home. Sound good?”
Ronnie’s face light up with a smile. “Wow, thank you so much.” He thanked Jinxx, shaking his hand quickly and then following him back to the tour bus.
The walk was silent at first, but then Jinxx spoke up. “I met you at the signing today, right?” Jinxx looked over at Ronnie.
Ronnie smiled. “Yeah, I gave you that letter.”
“Ronnie?” Jinxx guessed.
Ronnie furrowed his eyebrows. “How’d you know?”
Jinxx chuckled. “You’re the only guy that gave me a letter today. It was a really nice letter, though. I appreciate the thought that went into that, man.” Jinxx patted him on the back.
Ronnie’s body filled with glee at Jinxx’s words. “You really have no idea how much that means to me.” He admitted.
Jinxx stopped walking and Ronnie stopped too. He faced Ronnie and looked right into his eyes, taking Ronnie’s arm in one of his hands and rubbing his thumb over the scars. “Listen, dude.” Jinxx began. “I spotted these at the signing today. I wanted to say something, but you moved by pretty quickly. I want you to know that you never have to do this to yourself again. You’re so much better than that. You’re stronger than that and I believe in you. Promise me you’ll stop.” Jinxx watched as Ronnie’s eyes filled with tears.
Ronnie nodded. “Promise.” He grabbed onto Jinxx and just held him as his body shook with tears. He’d never forget the night that his hero saved him from himself.
