I still remember that 15 year old girl I found on her floor
Ashley's pov:
She walked up the stairs and I sighed slumping in the couch.
" she's still miserable" jake said sitting next to me.
" I know" Andy said
" she was okay, until we saw Tyler besides that she was actually happy" I said and I saw them smile a little.
"she always is when she's with you purdy" cc said and I blushed.
" not true.."
" yes it is ash, every time your with eachother her eyes light up. And so do yours, you love eachother.." Jinxx said and I blushed deeper. He wasnt wrong I did have feelings for her.
"I agree" jake said and my head shot to the side looking at him.
Wait wasn't he supposed to hate the thought of me and his little sister?
" what?! Your not going to kill me for liking your sister?!" I asked and he laughed.
" of course not, you obviously care for her, and she cares for you, I honestly think you'd make a great couple" jake said
Was he giving me permission?
"so if I was to ask her out you'd be okay with it..?" I asked and he smiled
" of course but you do understand if you hurt her, in anyway ,I will have to murder you. I think we all agree on that" jake said
" yes yes we do" jinxx said and I smiled.
" you really do make her happy man,and that's what I like to see her is happy " cc said and I smiled. I knew where he was coming from though. He was protective of her just like we all were ever since that night 2 years ago when he walked in on her self harming, him and jinxx were the first to find out and that night I swear he made it his mission to always make sure she was happy.
"really though.you should ask her out" Andy said and I sighed.
" not now, she just got her heart broken , I'm waiting but in the mean time we need to cheer her up before we leave." I said and they sighed.
" oh yeah, we only have 2 weeks here then tour" cc said " fuck.."jinx said
" hey let's make it the best 2 weeks " Andy said and we smiled just as we heard soft sobs coming from upstairs. Me and jake both jumped up at the same time looking at each other silently asking who wanted to go comfort her.
"let me do it" cc said standing up slowly. We nodded and sat back down in the couch.
I couldn't help but wish I was the one comforting her but I knew she's been self harming and jinxx and cc are the best with her when it comes to that. Still though i wanted to be the one who held her, something about her had me hooked. I loved being with her, she was so beautiful.
"Shit." I silently said to no one.

I walked up the stairs and heard more sobs. It brought back memories of that night. The night that made me realize that Jess wasnt just jakes little sister, she was all of ours, the night that I made a promise to myself that I would always try to make her smile.
I got to her door and opened it. I saw her sitting on the floor with her arm sticking out , blood still dripped from the cuts. I saw the blade in her hand and i sighed sadly moving to her
. " hey. Don't cry come on" I said going to her .
Her head shot up and she looked at me with her brown eyes that were clouded with tears. I bent down in front of her and took the blade out her hand while she sat still silent. I put it in my pocket and took her hand looking at the cuts. She cried harder and I felt my heart brake .
I put my arm under her legs and picked her up walking out of the room and into the bathroom. I locked the door and put her on the sink.
" hey calm down" I said wiping her face as she cried again. I took a towel and wet it slowly going over the cuts making sure I didn't hurt her.
When I was finished I put it in the tub turning back to Jess who was still silent.
"thank you cc." She said almost a whisper and I smiled hugging her close to me. I couldn't help but think back to that night when she was 15 again.
-flashback-
" die fucker die!" Andy screamed at the video games. I laughed leaning against jakes bed watching him and andy play as i sat on the floor. Jinxx , Ashley and Jess were on the bed while jake and Andy were on stools.
I looked to Jess who was starring off into space. She seems off every time she came home from school the past week we've been staying here.
"Jess you okay?" Jinxx asked and she nodded before standing up.
"I'm going to get some sleep night" she said kissing jakes cheek and walking out the door.
Jinxx looked at me wearily. I moved next to him and he leaned to my ear.
"she seem off to you?" He whispered and I nodded.
"probably just worn out from school" I said back and he sighed shrugging his shoulders and taking his phone out.
" I'm taking a leak" I said standing up.
Jake and Andy still were aimlessly starring at the screen while jinxx and Ashley were on their phones. I chuckled and left the room and to the bathroom.
As My hand was on the handle I heard a muffled sob from Jessica's room. I instantly walked to the door debating wether to open it. I heard her wince a little and instantly opened the door.
I stood frozen when I looked over and saw Jess sitting against the wall crying with a blade to her wrist.
" Jess!" I shouted softly and she instantly looked up dropping the blade and standing up putting her hand behind her back. A few more tears fell down her face and I walked to her.
" it's okay sweety." I said wiping her eyes. She still looked shocked and I saw a drop of blood fall.
"come on " I said grabbing her free arm and walking to the door . She stopped frozen and took my hand from her grip.
" w-w-here?!" She asked obviously nervous that I was going to jake or her parents.
" just to the bathroom, I'm going to take care of you okay? It's okay" I said reaching out again and she took it .
I slowly walked to the hall and looked out making sure noone was there. I went into the bathroom and closed the door before I picked her up and put her on the sink. I took a towel to her cuts and she winced in pain.
" shit I'm so sorry" I said. she shook her head.
"Its okay cc. i appreciate it" she choked out threw her tears that were still falling.
I wet the towel and started lightly going over her cuts. I heard a nock on the door and froze.
lcc, whats going on in there you okay? I heard jinxx call and looked up at Jess.
"hang on" I called
"can I let him in?" I asked and she silently nodded. I kissed her forehead and walked to the door opening it revealing a worried jinxx.
" what's going on? "He asked and I sighed looking behind me at the broken girl crying on the sink.
She let out a small sob and jinxx's head snapped to behind me.
" is that Jess?" He asked worriedly and I nodded. I slipped out of the door and closed it standing next to jinxx in the hall
. " listen, I'm going to let you in, once your in you'll understand, okay?" I asked and he hesitantly nodded.
I sighed and opened the door again letting him in. I walked in and locked the door once he was in. He froze when he saw blood against the sink and her cuts on her wrist.
" oh my god " he said under his breath. He walked to her and wiped her face.
"Jess come on it's okay" he said and I moved next to him.
" why?" He asked in my ear and I shrugged.
"I think it stopped bleeding, you want me to bandage it?" Jinxx asked her and she shook her head.
"No.." She mumbled. I couldn't believe she was doing this it broke my heart. He nodded sadly and started cleaning up the counter. I put the towel in the tub and turned to Jess again.
" let's go in your room okay?" I asked and she nodded.
Jinxx without hesitation picked her up and walked out with me behind them. I shut the door and walked in the room. Jinxx set Jess on the bed and sat next to her with his arm around her. I sat on the other side and rubbed her side. she started to stop crying and jinxx was still rubbing her shoulder.
"It's okay Jess just calm down okay?" He asked and she nodded taking in breaths.
" better?" I asked and she nodded slightly wiping her face.
" d-don't t-ell my parents please" she said still stuttering and we nodded.
" we won't, but were going to ask you a few things okay?" Jinxx said and she nodded.
She shifted to the wall against her bed and we shifted in front of her. I looked at jinxx nodding to him to ask as he nodded.
" how long have you been doing this Jess?" He asked rubbing her arm.
" a month" she mumbled and my heart broke even more
. " why sweetie? Why would such a pretty girl resort to that?" I asked and she smiled a little before sighing.
"I . I keep getting bullied and i tried ignoring them but, they got physical . They beat me up every day and they just make feel worthless everyday, I can't deal with anymore" she said and I looked at jinxx in shock. He had tears down his face as did I.
" Jess, oh my god, I - I didn't know" he stumbled and she nodded. He grabbed her into a hug and I joined.
"I'm so sorry, were going to help you okay? Come to us to talk please don't resort to harming yourself , please" I said as I felt her nod.
"I' promise" she said looking at us.
"good" jinxx said wiping his face
" we love you Jess" I said

"such a pretty girl shouldn't do that to herself" I said and she sighed.
"yeah I do" I sighed and picked her up. I went to her room and put her on the bed and sat next to her in a hug.
"I just feel so fucking stupid why the hell did i fall for that" she said into my chest and I rubbed her back.
" hey, your not stupid, they are , I can't believe he did that" I said and she sighed deeply into my chest.
"I can't stand seeing you upset I also can't stand seeing you do that to yourself." I said again and let go rubbing her arms.
" I know.." She said
" please , please stop?" I asked and she sighed deeply again.
" I don't know cc, you know I can't promise anything remember that one when I was 15? I broke that within a year" she said back
" I know but please at least try" I said and she nodded slowly.
" I'll try but no promises" I smiled.

"if you need anyone to talk to , you know I'm always here so is jinxx, jake, Andy and especially Ashley" I said winking and she hit my chest.
