"Audrey wake up!" I was shaken by an overly excited Ashley. I groaned and rolled over, burying my face in a pillow. "Aw Audrey you have to go to school! Come on it's your first day!" I swatted at him, and my grabbed my wrist. He put my arm over my head, and sat on me. "Audrey Miranda Ferguson. If you do not get out of this bed by the count of 10, I will be forced to tickle you. Or get Jinxx. Either way, not good for you." I rolled my eyes and broke free of his grip. "Fine then. 1.. 2.. 10!" and he started tickling me. I laughed so hard I was crying. He was laughing at my struggles to break free. I tried kicking at him but his grip kept getting stronger and stronger. "Are you wake now?" I was trying to breathe to answer him. "Yes yes stop I'm wake!" he laughed, and stopped. I kept trying to catch my breath. He patted my head, and climbed off of me. "Alright, well get dressed, and come down stairs for breakfast." I threw a pillow at him. He laughed and threw it back. He blew me kiss, and left, shutting my door behind him. I stood up and stretched. I went into my bathroom and brushed my hair and my teeth, and doing my makeup. The usual routine. I put on a "I refuse to sink" white tank top, with a leather jacket. I put on some ripped black skinny jeans, and studded combat boots. I grabbed my phone and my bag, and I headed downstairs. I threw my bag by the front door, and walked into the kitchen. I was greeted by a warm hug from Sammi, and CC throwing bagel chunks at me. I laughed and joined Jinxx at the table. He rubbed my back, and smiled at me. "So, how are you feeling?" I played with my bracelets, trying to avoid his eyes. "Fine, kinda nervous, but I'm okay." He gave me his 'look', but when back to his coffee. I started playing with my phone, when Andy came over, and brought me a bagel and a bottle of green Naked juice. I sipped at the juice, and picked at the bagel. "Eat." Jake startled me from the corner. I turned to face him, and I took a bite, just to please him. He nodded, and went back to making himself a coffee. I threw the rest of my bagel at CC, to get him back, and I took my bottle of Naked with me, and Jinxx and I walked to the front door. "Alright guys, I'm taking Audrey to school. Come give your hugs now." Sammi, CC, Ashley and Jake came and gave me hugs. Andy walked over and just stood there. He looked at me funny, "What? You think I'd just let you loose? No I'm coming too." I smiled, and he took my hand, and we walked out to Jinxx's car.

We pulled into the parking lot, and we got out. We were instantly given crazy amounts of attention. Andy could tell I was freaking out a little bit, and he put his arm around my shoulders, and we tried to not get in the way. We went into the front office, and got my schedule. After Jinxx finished signing papers, it was time for me to go to class. Jinxx hugged me, and kissed my forehead. Andy held my hands, and looked me in the eyes. "If you ever need me, at all, text me. Please." I nodded, and he pulled me into a warm hug. We stood like that for a while, until the bell rang. Andy let go, and kissed my cheek, before leaving with Jinxx. The lady behind the desk walked over to me, and offered to walk me to homeroom. "So, were those your brothers?" I shook my head. "The one who signed my papers is my cousin, and my legal guardian. The other guy is one of his bandmates. The whole band lives together." She nodded. "Is there a reason you live with him?" I nodded, and bluntly said "My parents died about a month ago." She gasped, and stopped walking. "Oh baby...can I give you a hug?" I nodded, and she pulled me into a tight hug. She rubbed my back, and then she let go. "Those two boys of yours love you." I shrugged, and we carried along silently. We walked up to a door, and she slowly opened it. We walked in, and immediately people started staring and whispering amongst themselves. The teacher welcomed me, and I took a seat in the back. The lady whispered something in his ear. His face became solemn, and he gave me a sympathetic look. Great. Now I'm the charity case. I sank down in my seat, and kept my head down. Here we go again.


My first classes of the day went fine. Jinxx made sure I got put in a piano class. He's so fucking awesome. I walked to lunch alone. I stopped in a bathroom, to fix my makeup. Three girls walked in, they were wrapped up in their own conversation, when they saw me. They walked up behind me, and grabbed my hair. "Oh, you just think you're so hot don't you?" The one who had my hair threw me to the floor. One of the other two kicked me in my hip. "You think that just because Andy Biersack took you in as a charity case, you're gonna be popular? Well, news flash sweetheart. He hates you. He hates girls like you. So don't think that people are going to like you, because they aren't. So just keep to yourself fatty. Okay?" She kicked me in the gut, and knelt down to my level. "Kill yourslef, bitch." and she kicked me one last time in the mouth before leaving with her 'friends'.
I laid in the floor for a little while, trying to comprehend what the hell just happened. I sat up, and took a few deep breaths. I stood up and walked over to the mirror, to fix my hair and to evalute my face injuries. Nothing too bad, thankfully. I grabbed my bookbag, and slowly started walking towards my next class.


Last classes of the day were great. I enjoyed them. The teachers here were pretty cool. My last class teacher was the best though. He was so funny, and really nice. I left his class smiling. I was walking to the commons area to wait for Jinxx to pick me up. I was walking down the hallway, when I bumped into someone. I bent over to pick up their books, but they kicked them out of my hand. I looked up. It was those girls again. I stood up, and slowly back away. The blonde one stepped forward, and socked me in the nose. I felt blood run down my face, and saw it drip onto my shirt. She threw me against a locker, and one of her bigger friends started punching me in the stomach. I felt tears slip down my cheeks as they hurled insults and punches at me. They finally stopped, and I fell to the floor, clutching my stomach. They laughed. and kicked me one last time in the back before walking off. I waited for them to leave, then I picked myself up from the floor. My phone vibrated in my pocket.

Jinxx: Hey, I'm here

Good, its just Jinxx. I put my hood up, and limped out to the parking lot. I wiped blood off my face, and zipped up my jacket so he wouldn't see the blood on my shirt. I walked up to his car, and climbed into the back, and kept my head down. "How was school?" I tried to stifle the pain and hide the hurt in my voice. "Good. I like my teachers" I could tell he wanted to hear that. "Well good." He looked back at me. "Hey, you okay?" I tried to sit a little straighter. "Yeah I'm fine." He pulled over and stopped the car, and turned around to face me. Shit. "Audrey. Audrey look at me right now." I kept my head down, praying he'll drop it. He didn't. "Audrey Miranda Ferguson." Jinxx only uses my full name when he really serious or angry. The other guys play with it. I looked up at him, taking my hand from my face. "Oh my god baby girl." He got out, and came around to sit beside me. "Who did this?" I sighed. "Three girls. They did it because of Andy." Jinxx looked really surprised. "Are they fans?" I shrugged. "I guess so." He shook his head. Tears started slipping down my cheeks. He pulled me into a tight hug, and I started sobbing. I told him everything that happened, and how bad it hurt. He didn't let go until his phone rang. "Yeah? Sorry I had to get gas on the way back, and then we got a flat. Be home in ten." And he hung up. "Sorry, but we need to get home." I nodded, and curled up into the back seat. We pulled up at home, and he turned around and looked at me. "Can I please not show anyone?" He laughed. "Good luck getting by Andy and Sammi." I sighed, and he helped me out. I kept my head ducked down, and as soon as we got in, I ran straight to my room. I heard Sammi calling me, but I ignored her. I went up to my room, and shut the door. I walked into my bathroom, and locked the door. I took my blades out from my cabinet, and started working on my wrist. Line after line, watching the beautiful red tears falling onto the cold tile floor. I started crying, and my knees hit the floor. I stopped making my wrists cry, and I just sobbed for a while. After a few minutes, and I could breathe again, there was a soft knock at my door. "Audrey? Can I come in?' I jerked my sleeves and bracelets back over my wrist, and covered the blood on the floor. I opened the door, and saw Jinxx standing there. He gave me a half smile, and waved. "Hey." I waved back. "Hey.." He hugged me. "Uhm..They're downstairs...curious, about why you ran upstairs...and Jake and CC have pizza...and Sammi is demanding to see you so I think we should go downstairs." Tears wouldn't stop rolling down my cheeks, and I tried to wipe them. He walked into the bathroom, and grabbed a washcloth from the cabinet. He put warm soapy water on it, adn started wiping the dried blood off of my face. "Did you get hit anywhere else?" Then I felt it hit me. My whole torso ached. I wrapped my arms around my waist, and he frowned. He grabbed the end of my shirt. "Can I look? Are you comfortable with that?" I nodded, and he rolled up the bottom of my shirt, to reveal purple and black bruises covering my whole torso. He gasped, and lightly rubbed it. I winced, and he pulled back. "I'm..so sorry." I shrugged, and he took my hand, and led me downstairs. Everyone was down there, except for Andy. Sammi and Jake walked up, demanding an answer, and so I explained. They both hugged me, and Jake got me an ice-pack for my nose. I sat on the couch next to Ashley, and he put his arm around me, and turned on The Office. I put my head on his shoulder, and he rested his head on mine. CC put his head on my shoulder. Jinxx and Sammi sat together on a couch and Jake in a recliner. We were watching TV, when the door opened, and Andy walked in with a very familiar blonde girl. "Oh my god.." I whispered. CC jerked up instantly, and gave me a concerned look. "What's wrong?" I shook my head, and I looked over at the girl standing with Andy, and she smirked at me. "That's the girl that hit me." I whispered to myself before running upstairs. I ran in my room. I could feel my whole body shaking. (She's here....in my house...with Andy..) I grabbed my phone, and plugged in my earbuds, and played "Bulls in the Bronx" by Pierce the Veil. I started crying, and I curled into a ball in my floor behind my bed, so no one would see me when they first walked in, and then maybe they would just leave.


I was laying on my bed, when I felt a hand on my back. I turned around to see CC and Ashley. They both looked really concerned. "Audrey.." CC spoke first. "What's wrong? What happened?" I sighed. "She's the girl that did this to me...and now her and Andy have feelings for each other?" Ashley sighed, and CC rubbed my arm. "Want me to say something to Andy?" Ashley was getting mad. I shook my head. "Even if we tell Andy, she's still gonna keep hurting me." CC started pacing, thinking. Out side my door I heard giggling from (her), and then I heard Andy's bedroom door shut, and moans coming from the other side. I grabbed a pillow, and pulled it over my head and groaned. "Now I definitely won't be sleeping." Ashley laughed, and CC smiled. I rolled over, and stretched. Ashley rubbed my back. "I'll be right back." and CC walked out. Ashley started banging on the walls when Andy and the bitch started getting loud. CC came back in after a few minutes. "You're staying with me tonight. Jinxx was okay with it, so go put on your jammies and head over whenever you're ready for sleep." I smiled, and thanked him. He nodded, and left. Ashley kissed my cheek, and then followed him out. I showered quickly, changed into pajamas. I walked across the hall to Jinxx's room, and hugged him and Sammi goodnight. Jake was headed upstairs to go play guitar, so he hugged me as well, and Ashley left to go to a bar. I walked to CC's door and knocked. He called, "Come in." softly from the other side. I walked in, and he was laying on his bed, watching Family Guy. He patted the spot next to him, and I sat down. We watched for a while, but then I started yawning. He chuckled at me, and turned the TV off, and then the lights. I crawled under the covers, and turned my back to CC. I felt him get in under the covers next to me, and everything was still for a while. I felt him shift, and then I felt him tentatively put his arms around my waist. I snuggled in closer to him, and he breathed a sigh of relief. I smiled, an he kissed my cheek. We stayed like that, and that's the last thing I remember, before gently drifting off to sleep.
