I don't think they even consider themselves metal. But I'd not sure about that and Andy has always seemed feminine. But some girls find that attractive (cough cough) I do. I can't help it.. lol

And I agree with you about the fans, mostly the teenage girl ffans that bvb saved their lives. I just don't get it. I guess I'm just tired of seeing that
The one thing I don't agree with you about is the metal or heavier music. You don't have to like those bands to like metal I mean I like a little bit of Slayer. But there are other heavier bands like Beartooth, Crimson Armada, Comeback Kid, OLD bring me the horizon. make me famous D.R.U.G.S and others

Oh thank god on Sleeping With Sirens! I only like a song here and there but they get annoying.
Yeah, I'm tired of seeing girls that say that. Because a band can help you, but if they save your life. That's too much love to put into 5 people! You never know when the band might break up, or your favorite member leaves.
Oh, I totally agree with you on that. There are plenty of other metal bands that are good. Like the ones you stated. I was just trying to put more Thrash, Black, and Death metal. Because not many BVB fans like the traditional metal. So that's why I put those. But I agree that those other bands are great! :)
On sws I used to think they were pretty cool but then a girl I know started to like them and play them all the time and like worship them and now the songs just drive me crazy! And their songs are not verygood.

Ah, no I just never really have liked them. I got into that scene of music after their music got worse. So I never really heard their good music. Well I mean I have on Youtube, but not on radio stations and stuff.
Yeah, most people don't like Pantera. Which is Jake's biggest influence. He loves Pantera, especially Dimebag Darrell.
So I was just trying to get the stuff that influenced the music that we like today. Which in all truth if you wanted to go back to what influenced the early metal heads. It would be Johnny Cash and June Carter. They were the early metal heads. Lol

i went to a bvb show and was basically in a crowd of 13 year olds (i'm 17). they pushed me around and had no manners. BVB threw stuff into the crowd and these girls fought hard for it (Andy's eyes went wide and it was the funniest thing ever) and the rest of the guys shook their heads.
i use to love being apart of the bvb army, but it seems that the people i got along with and liked, are gone. y'all seem like chill people who'd be in the 'old army' i like the old army.

Would you consider Motionless in white Heavy? i mean they have the guitar and bass and vocals at times. (most likely the older albums, reincarnate isn't as heavy as infamous but its still so good)

Yeah, I totally agree. I saw BVB back in December. The fangirls were crazy. One tried to fight me to get to the front. But I had like 3 big guys behind me that were protecting their family, and protecting me. Lol. So that only happened once or twice.
Sleeping With Sirens has a few mediocre songs, I agree.
I consider Motionless In White metal, because they are a lot like Slipknot. They have a certain sound that is very heavy. I think it helps that the bass is very strong in their songs! :)

Exactly! I personally like CC or Jake! I used to like Andy and Ashley now they are unattractive to me.
I was talking about BVB to a friend and I said CC and she looked at my confused, she used to be a huge bvb fan. It's kind of sad actually.
I personally love each guy. i have days where i tend to favorite one over another, but i love them all nonetheless. Each guy is special in their own way and when they smile, its beautiful. Like yesterday was a Jinxx Day, today is an Ash day. it rotates .
I LOVE motionless in White. They're my go to band when i dont want to listen to Black Veil Brides (it happens, especially after i see them live)
like i saw bvb at warped this year, and all the drama llama crap that keeps happening has be picking other bands on my playlist. Falling In Reverse has been my primary one.
I personally love all the guys in the band I get Andy is very attractive but there would be no Black Veil Brides without Jinxx, Ashley, Jake , and CC. A lot of fans I know say they lost interest after Set The World on Fire because they weren't 'heavy' enough anymore. I have said this before and I will say it again if they truly were fans they would still listen to the band if their sound changes. Wretched and Divine and Black Veil Brides are great albums. If you really listen to them you can tell how much they have matured as musicians. Bands mature people need to accept that. They forget that Andy isn't that 19 year old kid in the Perfect Weapon video anymore. I am a die hard BVB fan and love all their albums and love every guy in the band. If I had a favorite member it would probably be JInxx. he is just as talented as the rest of the guys but is just placed in the back round.And they complain about them not wearing the warpaint anymore. I can understand why they don't because it's probably a pain in the ass to put on and take off. So with that I respect them all as musicians and people. Even though they are famous they're not Gods to be put on pedestals and worshiped. They are still people who put their pants on one leg at a time like we do.
I personally like the vand because they inspire me. I admit i did almost knock out a girl because i was protecting my cousin. This girl was on the back of some dude running around in a circle hitting people so l

you have some good points here. In my story I actually picked on Ashley for having very feminine features. As for who BVB fans are, I can't really answer that. I'm a fan but I'm not a die hard fan, I have never cut as I don't see the benefit of it but I am hardly a happy person. In fact, I've stopped listening to them that much and moved on to MIW and Kuza because I like the message and the sound more, plus I've gone back to classics that I love. For me BVB songs just don't hold that much emotion because their written more for the fans sake than the artists.
Also, as far as the whole 'tough/bad girl wannabe' thing, I am who I am, that's that. It doesn't matter what I want to be.

I somewhat disagree with your first statement about them being metal. They in fact do have metal guitarists and drumming because CC, Jake and Jinxx are influenced by the bands that you have mentioned. But Andy and Ashley's melodic singing makes them sound more like rock. Imagine if cc Jake and Jinxx had a different singer who wanted to be metal band without Andys singing? They could easily do it because they wouldn't be changing much. Thats what makes BVB unique because they're a nice combination of both.
As far as your opinion of Ashley and Andy looking more feminine, it used to be worse when they used to wear lipstick. Haha so I don't know how they could look more feminine now than they did then.
About SWS, meh. I can't stand them either. Only listened to one song and that was it. Also they aren't the first band to have high singing. Look up A Skylit Drive.
Also you took what MIW said out of context. Chris actually said that he didn't like that it was becoming a Fad to write music like that. Regardless I know what you mean about other bands trying to use that "fad" just to gain fans or keep them. But Andys songs are mostly self help because that's just his thing. hes a genuine person who cares about his fans.
And lastly.. The BVB fans actually suck. Those reasons that you have listed are stereotypes though. They suck because they go after everyone who is involved in the guys lives. They tend to want to cause grief to those who are even friends of the band. They stir up rumors and spread gossip like wildfire. It's ridiculous.
Anyways... That's my take on what you just said. :)
Okay, I'm not a troll. I personally like BVB's music and who they are. But I have recently been annoyed about a few things. Also, I do write Fanfics so obviously I like this band. :P
But here I go.
So, first things first BVB is not metal. They just aren't no matter how hard they try they will never be metal. The drums, bass, and guitar are rock based. Which isn't bad, I'm actually glad they aren't metal, and are rock.
Secondly.... I have to say it..... Andy Biersack and Ashley Purdy look like women. I know that they can be hot. But recently they have both become more feminine. I was looking at Instagram and I scrolled to a picture of Ashley. I though "Who is this ugly women?"
I looked up and saw it was Ashley. Then the same thing happened with Andy. So they have seriously become more and more feminine. Before you know it they are going to be wearing bras, and thongs. Lol
Third thing. This isn't really about BVB, but about another band. So I personlly do not like Sleeping With Sirens. Kellin's voice annoys me, his look annoys me, I just really don't like him. I feel like he looks and sings like a 10 yr old girl. He isn't attractive, and I personally think no man should sing that high. The only male high voices I accept are. 80's rock/metal, high screams, and pig squeals. But just to sing in that register doesn't work for me.
Fourth thing. I personally think that BVB uses teenage girls. Andy tries to write songs so that all of us will like them. I mean, why would he wrote so many of the same songs. If you step back and look at it, it's true. He wants Teenage girls to like them. Chris Motionless used to do the same thing, but recently he has stated that he writes the lyrics that mean the most to him. So, does that say anything?
That is just my option in the teenager thing, but seriously you have to agree about that.
Fifth and final one. Okay, this is the one you guys are going to hate me over. Who the hell are the BVB fans?! Everyone I used to talk to was the same. "I cut and BVB is the only thing that helps me." All of that.
But last month I pretty much saw none of that. The people I talked to were just happy. Then the "I cut" people have started coming back. So.... My question is. Do you know who the BVB fans are??
Because I seem to get the vibe that they are bad/tough girl wannabes. They want to seem like they break the rules and are so tough. But in reality they aren't. They are just religious goody two shoes trying to act tough and badass. You all seem like metal wannabes.
So my final thing is. Please don't tell me you like metal and heavier music unless you like; Slayer, Amon Amarth, Cannibal Corpse, Pantera, Gorgoroth, Mayhem, Sepultra, King Diamond, Dark Funeral, Butcher Babies, or Behemoth.
