Updating issue?

Hey guys, I know usually in stories, the most recently updated storys appear in order of updated. However when I click the updated tab it shows stories updated yesterday, but not the stories I know for a fact were just updated today. It's all messed up. Any ideas? I'm an on iPad in my safari app.
