*Skylar's POV*
'Hey, Sky.. We need to talk.'

Chris said when he got to the house.

'Yeah, we do.'

I said. I knew what was coming. We had been talking for about a month. I wasn't ready for a relationship yet. I couldn't commit.

'I know you're not ready.. But you need to either be ready or not be with me..'

Chris said.

'Chris, you know i like you alot, but i'm not ready to commit, i can't even sleep at night. Plus, i like Derek too.'

I said.

'I understand.. We can still be friends, don't worry about that at all.'

I nodded. He nodded & got up kissing my cheek. What just happened here? I sighed & got up. I walked into my room. I didn't know what to do. I did what i knew best. I grabbed my phone, wallet, cigarettes, keys, & shoes & walked outside. I got in my truck & started the engine. I drove down back roads, as many as i could in LA. I tried to think. Why did Brent cheat? What went wrong with Chris? Would i be good enough for Derek? Was i ready for a relationship? I got pulled out of my thoughts when my phone started singing Underdog by Motionless in White. It was Jinxx.

Me ; Hello?
Him ; Where are you?
Me ; I needed to think. I honestly don't know where i am. I'm by a Chipotle, i'm gonna stop here & eat, then i'll be at home. Why? Is dad flipping out?
Him ; No, dad doesn't even know you're gone. I don't know where he is.
Me ; Oh. Well, yeah. I need to talk to Derek..
Him ; What happened with Chris...?
Me ; I told him i wasn't ready for a relationship..
Him ; Oh, well i love you. Call me if you need anything. I'll be at your house.
Me ; Okay. I love you too.
