The Bloody Sins
Where it all begins...
*flashback*
"MOM??? whats happened? please say something, anything?" I scream in her face. No response. I begin to frantically shake her, trying to wake her up, surely i'm not too late. I begin to cry, the sort where you make dead animal sounds and lose all control of your body. This can't be happening....its all my fault...why me?
I jolt awake suddenly crying, shaking and a sweaty mess. Its true what they say, your memories do haunt you. I reach over to my bedside table to look at my phone, 8.30 am. I groan and roll my eyes, and snuggle back into my little den known as my bed. I hear foot steps outside my door and I know who it is so i bury myself deeper into the blanket, hiding my face under my pillow wisking for her to leave me to sleep but of course she doesn't.
"Good morning sleeping beauty!" I heard someone sing. I looked from underneath my blanket and saw a very excited Alexa bouncing into my room, holding a can of monster for me. "Mhhmmhhm..." i mumble back, hoping she'll leave my in peace, but that never happens, i mean this is Alexa! I bury my face even deeper into my pillow, and i heard her sigh behind me. "Fine, then theres only one way to wake the beast from her slumber" she giggled, laughing at her own joke.
"You know I love you, but seriuosly, piss off and let me sleep!" i moaned back, i turned away from her and pulled the blanket over my head again. "But, oh dear, sweet little Lilith, i'm afaird i can't do that" she said in a fake British accent. I peeked at her from under the blanket and i raised my eye brow at her. I watched as a smirk washed over her face, I began to worry, i knew she was up to something, i just didn't know what. Alexa could be quite unpredictable, just one thing i loved about her but also feared.
"PILE ON!!!" she suddenly screamed running towards me dropping my monster with a thud. She jumped on me followed by the rest of the gang which consisted of 2 guys and 2 girls, so it wasn't a light weight. They were the bestest friends a girl could ask for, and the best part was they're mine and we're also in a kick-ass band.
As they contiuned to crush and suffocate me, i tried to push them off, and only succedding in pushing Jason off. He pouted at me, so i stuck my toungue out at him "i wouldn;t put that back in my mouth if i were you!" he warned, "Well your not me, so there!" i giggled back. As we all rolled around, laughing at each other and i felt a pair of arms rap around me from my right. Turning me around to face him, i saw Ky ready to bite my nose, so i turned the tables and decided to bite his instead. "Ow!, what did i ever do to you? that was uncalled for" he faked pouted with a flick of his hair, acting up to his very gay reputation. "For a start, you all attacked me first so it's pay back and second, you were gonna do it to me!" i laughed at him. After awhile of laughing, pushing, and name calling, i was finally left alone, sitting on my bed talking to Alexa. "So, what's the big deal of waking me up like that?" I asked, voice full of amusement. Alexa's eyes lit up and a cheeky grin spread across her face. "Tom called us today, saying he wants a band meeting and its urgent but he sounded very happy like he ws hiding something, so i think this may be our big break!" she winked.
"Wait! like....we might be going on tour or getting signed?!?!" i screamed back. "YEAH!!!" We both squealed and hugged, and the others came rushing in to join. "We might of finally made it!!" Jason shouted.
"What do you think it is though?" i asked excitedly. "Tom won't tell us, but he says he wants us ready in half an hour waiting for him in the living room" explained Candie. (we shared a house) We all squealed again and had a massive group hug and we began to dance around.
Alexa pushed the others out of my room so we could get ready. "Are you okay? i heard you crying again this morning?" she asked worridly, with concern in her eyes. "I'll be fine, just a bad dream thats all." i lied and put on a fake smile. But her being her, she saw right through my lie, you see we've known each other since we were 10 and we've been unseperable since, and shes helped me through alot of my difficult times.
"i forgot to take my tablet on time last night" i whispered, knowing what her reaction would be and worried i've dissapointed her. "I'm sorry,"
The look of anger and pity, followed by sadness washed over her face as she pulled me into a hug. "Sweetie, you must never forget! you know what happens to you when you don't take it, and now today you'll be miserable until later," she whispered whilst hugging me and rocking me like a child as i began o cry into her shoulder. I whispered "i know, i'm sorry".
So....you're probably wondering what's going on. Well where to begin, I first moved in next door to Alexa when i was 10 with my real family, and by the age of 12, her family adopted me. I lost my family, and that sent me on a downward spiral of depression, one night it got so bad that i was put into a mental hospital for 3 years for failing to kill myself. And now after 5 years, i still have to take medication to help, but sometimes it doesn't but i hate to show that to Alexa as i know she'll worry. You see, when i take my tablet late or if i forget it, it makes me bad, and it takes a few hours to take affect and remove the voices.
When i first started The Bloody Sins, i was just a girl with a dream, but now thanks to these wonderful people, i have finally found myself and i think that this dream may slowly becoming true.
