Earlier in the week Sammi forced me to go dress shopping with her. I fought and fought , then I found out it was a formal event. I wasn't entirely sure of what 'Formal' meant , but I was sure that your dress should go past your knees!
Shopping with Sammi is like being held hostage , and being forced to go it store after store. Even stores there was no point in going to , we had to stop at them. After about and hour and a half I realised 'Formal' basically meant shopping for a prom. We should have been done way before , but Sammi tried on thousands of dresses. I was worried when my turn rolled around. this was my first time going to the 'Vans Warped Awards Ball' , it was kinda like an awards show. They give out awards based on the previous 'Warped' and to kick off this years. I t was very formal , and that was something I was never good at. I didn't want to embarrass Austin with something to sleazy , or something to over the top. I put all my trust in Sammi , and the end result was amazing! ( Carressa's Outfit )
"Oh Carressa! You look amazing!" Sammi breathed as I curled my last piece of hair.
"Oh shut up! It's you who looks amazing! I'm so jealous!" We hugged and talked about tonight.
I talked like it was no big deal. But in reality I was so nervous , I didn't know what to expect. What if I didn't know anybody? Well , I met a couple of other bands with Austin , and actually grew really close with Kellin Quinn , we talk every night before we go to sleep. He's like my best friend , and so is his boyfriend Vic. They're so cute together.
"Shit." Sammi said under her breath looking at her phone. I threw her a questioning look. "We have to be there in five minutes!" Sammi left the room and got the boys. All of them went downstairs , I staggered in my room.
I looked in the mirror and my gaze fell down to my arms. Austin had helped with the cutting , but I still slipped every now and again. But not as major as I used to. There were only two single lines , but thousands or ugly purple scars. A hand slide down my arm and held me close my it. They caressed the scars , I'd recognize those tattoos from a mile away. They brought my hand up and kissed the scars. I looked into his soft warm inventing brown eyes and smiled. He smiled back and pulled me into a kiss. It ended all to soon when he broke away and put my hand above my head signaling for me to turn.
"You look amazing." Austin breathed.
I looked amazing? He looked amazing! He had a black tux on with a red undershirt and black tie. His hair was gelled up perfectly , although it still tilted to the side. A hot blush ran across my cheeks and I punched him playfully on the shoulder.
"Shut up. You look perfect , Austin. But come on , everyone is waiting for us."
Everyone piled into the limo and we started to the ball. We made another toast , 'To Looking Sexy As Fuck!' was what we toasted to this time. We didn't want to be serious , there was enough of that earlier.
We got to the venue and did a couple of interviews , many reporters congratulated me and Austin , as well as Andy and Ashley. We signed stiff for fans and then we made it in. I immediately searched of Kellin , I spotted him in a group of people and ran to him. I hugged him from behind , first he squealed then realized it was me. He turned around and picked me up , he put me down and we shared a quick peck , something we always did.
"Holy fuck Quinn! You clean up nice!" I said spinning him the way Austin did me. Kellin giggled and spun , bowing when he was facing me again.
"So do you Carress-s-s-s-s-a!" He rolled his tongue on the 'S' , causing him to sound Mexican.
"Hey , was that to mock me?" I heard a voice not quite deeper then Kellin's come from behind me , I turned and saw Vic , I attacked him with a hug and kiss the way I did Kellin.
"You look good Vic!" I said pulling away. Austin had come up and put his hand around my shoulder , handing me a drink.
"So do you Darling." Vic said pulling Kellin in my the waist , Kellin giggled in return , awwe , he really loves Vic.
"I know she does. I'm so proud to call her mine." Austin said looking down at me.
I pulled his head down into a kiss , listening to Kellin and Vic exchange "Awwwe's"
"Ladies and gentleman! If I could have your attention please! The award show will be starting in 3 and a half minutes! If you could all find your seats , that would be fantastic!" A lady , who looked to be in her mid 40-s said threw a microphone that was on the giant stage.
Me and Austin sat at the 'Of Mice&Men' table , which was in-between 'Black Veil Brides' and 'Sleeping With Sirens' . And behind us was 'Pierce The Veil' . It like they did this on purpose! Not that I was complaining.
The award show started , I never expected this much intensity. They did cagicories for the back stage people. Like tour manager's , tech guys , stuff like that. And now they have started with the band stuff.
"And this years nominees for 'Best New Song 2013' are! "In The End" by Black Veil Brides! "Remember Everything" by Five Finger Death Punch! "Surprise Surprise" by Billy Talent! And last but not least , "Oh Love" by Green Day!" The slide show stopped and so did the cheering , I was squeezing the life out of Austin and Kellin's hands , but I couldn't help it , I really wanted them to win!
"And the winner of 'Best New Song 2013' is . . . "IN THE END BY BLACK VEIL BRIDES" !" You could barley hear the announcer over the screams that erupted , my own did too , I screamed and cheered and jumped up and down with the fans.
Before Andy could say anything Ashley stole the mic from him.
"Thank you so much for this award! It means so much to us! Thank you so much BVB Army and everyone who voted! This is our third year in a row and that's history motherfucker! But right now I would like for my little sister Carressa to join us on stage." The spotlight hit me and I didn't know what to do. I was stunned , Austin gave me a shove that brought me back to my senses , I walked on stage , the crowd irrupting , Ashley put his hand around my shoulder and continued.
"I wanted you to be here for this. Now , many of you know me and Andy are in-fact a couple , but not many of you know how much I really love this man. Or what I love this man for." Ashley took the microphone of the stand and walked over to Andy , taking on of his hands.
"I love this man because he keeps me strong. On my weakest days he's there to pick me back up. I love him because he understands me , more then anyone ever has. He's supported me , cared for me , protected me , and ever loved me. Even thought I can be quiet the handful. I couldn't bare to loose this man , I can't even picture life without him. I don't want to because sure enough it would be Hell. So today , I want to make sure I never have to." Andy's hands flew to his mouth covering it , a tear rolled down his cheek. Ashley threw me the microphone , and pulled out a little black box. He proceeded to get down on one knee.
"Andrew Dennis Biersack , will you marry me?"
