A Brother's Friend
"Why Do You Look At Him Like That?"
"Ashley Purdy. He was admitted yesterday. I'm his sister." I said to the nurse over the counter. She looked me up and down, then Andy up and down.
"And who exactly are you?" This was directed at Andy, she looked at him with discust, along with me.
"I'm his-"
"Only sposes, or blood relatives can see him." The small plump woman interupted Andy.
"As I was saying." Andy started again, he looked at me and winked. I braced myself for what was next, if I laughed, it would ruin everything!
"Me and Ash are getting marrid. I'm his fiance." Andy said this straight faced, but you could hear it in his voice htat he wasn't serious. I hoped to God the woman never noticed.
"Okay. Same room as yesterday." She didn't.
Me and Andy walked down the same hallway, again not looking, talking, or touching. Until we where out of earshot. We burst into laughter until we got to Ashley's room, only then did Andy's face deepen into something more serious.
"Andy. Whats wrong?" I stopped and put my hands around his waist and looked up at him. He looked down on me a rubbed my check with his thumb.
"Are we going to tell Ashley? Are you embaressed of me? Or would you rather keep him happy then you? That is if I make you happy." His voice cracked as he said 'If I Make You Happy' . He cleared his throat and looked away.
"Andy. Look at me." He did so. "We will tell Ashley. But not right now. You hurt him physicaly, I don't want you to mentally. I'm not embaressed of you. I would yell that I love you from mountain tops, I'd say it on the jumbo tron in New Yourk on New Years Eve! I want you... You make me VERY happy! Honestly, I felt like we've been dating sense the night in my bedroom. And goddamit Andy this is the best relationship I've had! Don't you dare second guess it."
I seen Andy's eyes light up. I don't really know where any of that came from. But I did know I meant every bit of it. Andy couldn't help the smile, or the blush, or the trembling I caused.
I stood on his feet and got on my tippie toes and kissed him lightly on the lips, he pushed a little harder, showing he believed me. The kiss only lasted 30 seconds when I pulled away and stood on the floor.
"Okay, Mr. Soon-To-Be-Purdy , lets go see the little man whore." I smiled wide at Andy and he returned it.
"Okay." He chuckled turned around and opened the door. He walked rightup to Ashley and planted a giant kiss on his lips. Ashley's eyes widened as he pushed Andy away. Andy looked down at panting Ashley and smiled wide. I was dieing laughing, I had fel to the floor because I was laughing so hard.
"Hey hubby! I missed you so much! Are you okay? Do you feel well? Do you want a hand job?" Andy said in the tpe of lingo you use to talk to babies, Ashley kept staring at him with gaint eyes.
"A-A-AN-ANDY! SS-STOP! I CA-CAN'T BREATH!" I managed to get out between the laughs and gasps for air.
"No, I'm kidding Ash. I was only allowed in if I was a spouse or blood related. I told them I was your husband." Ashley regastured this and laughed lighty too. I had stodded laughing. But I stayed on the floor.
"So, why are you guys so late?" Ashley asked. I loked over at Andy who looked cool as a cucumber. I copied him.
"This lazy ass over her wouldn't get out of bed." Andy nudged his head towards me, while trying to open Ashley's pudding.
"HEY!" I yelled jokingly. But Ashley was laughing.
"I know! She's always been hard to get out of bed." He agreed with Andy. What dicks.
"I can't get this fucking this open!" Andy said and slammed it done on the table.
"The nurse has siccors, you can ask her to open it." Andy nodded his head with a smile and grabbed it.
"I'll onlybe a few seconds hunny. I'll miss you!" Andy yelled while leaving the room so the nurse could hear him.
Now it was only me and Ashley. Finally.
"So? How do you like it here?" I got up off my spot on the floor and sat in Andy's chair at the end of Ashley's bed.
"Carr?"

"Why do you look at him like that? Andy, why do you look at him like you love him?" Ashley looked me dead in the eye. I couldn't look away or he would know something was up. Good thing I mastered the art of lieing to people faces.
"I don't know Ashley. I look at everyone the same way. You're just looking for an excuse to be mad at him."
As if right on cue Andy walked back into the room.
"I got it!" He said.
"Yea, and ate half of it already." Ashley said laughing.
**A FEW HOURS LATER**
"Kay, me and Caressa have to go for soundcheck, are oy ufeelin' good enough to play?" Andy asked Ashley while heading for the door.
"Man! Thats like asking me if I want to breath!" Ashley's face lit up, Andy chuckled annd opened the door.
"Kay then, we'll be back soon to get you."
ME and Andy walked down the hall in routine. No words. No touching. No looking. When we had signed out and were in the car I finally spoke.
"Andy." I said just over a whisper.
"Mhm?"
"I think he knows."
Andy didn't say anything, he just but his hand on my inner thigh and kept driving.

I am so sorry, I tend to be be a complete psycho sometimes, and by sometimes I mean most of the time, and by most of the time I mean always... Wait...what?...pffft... I never said anything.... Who are you people!!!!
