Chapter Two
~Where the dream takes you~
I was stunned as I stared at his eyes, they were the of the brightest blue I’ve ever seen but my mesmerisation was cut short when he pulled back and I heard him cursing in a deep voice.
“What the fucking shit was that?”
Scrambling to my legs I stood up bowing countless of times “나는정말미안해요*” stopping myself as I noticed I rambled in Korean and he wouldn’t be able to understand me. “Ah… I meant I’m sorry… I didn’t- “I was interrupted by the hammering of fists against the door and muffled male voices. Spinning around I looked at the door with wide eyes.
They’ve found me. It’s over.
Staring at the door I notice the man walking towards it, without thinking I move to grab his arm shaking my head desperately while looking up at him with pleading eyes.
As soon as he would open the door, they will drag me back to that wedding.
Before I could watch him open the door I spin around and ran away just to bump into another person. Looking up I saw a shirtless male with chocolate brown eyes my gaze wanders down his chest stopping at a tattoo. Not able to decipher it properly I shake my head and continue running only to be pulled back by my arm.
“Where do you think you are going? Who are you anyway and how did you get here?”
Glaring at him I stomp on his feet with my 5-inch heels, making him groan loudly in pain and let go of me. I ran as fast as I could through the hallway stumbling over some wires as I turn around a corner, losing one of my shoes, instead of grabbing it I take off the other.
Without further thinking I slip into the room on my left and end up in an empty dressing room.
In there I grab some random clothes and slip behind the curtain to take off the wedding gown, white corset with built in bra and the garter belt set with white sheer over knee stockings. Then I dress up in the black tank which showed a bit too much cleavage since the collar was cut that tank top had a logo printed on it which I’ve never seen before, some black skinny jeans which were around two sizes too big and I had to pull on some of the studded belts so she wouldn’t lose those pants.
I bent down to roll up the legs of the pants and pull on some of the shoes I found, a pair of black cowboy boots which were also way too big.
Stuffing the lingerie, the dress and the single shoe into an empty suitcase I was about to leave the room but come across a mirror. “그들은나를알아볼것입니다*…” I mumble and use some of the make up on the vanity in and get some cowboy hat I saw, shrugging I take it and pull it on only then I leave the room.
I feign to be part of the staff as I noticed it was the backstage area of a concert hall, as long as no one notices I was save.
Mingling with the 'other' staff and help packing up the equipment and into the trunk of the tour bus. When everything was ready I tried to slip away from the others but before I could, I saw fathers men wandering around at the place and I hurried back to the bus. At an unwatched moment I boarded the tour bus, looking around I search for a hiding spot.
In the end I hid in the seperate bedroom in the back, hoping I wouldn't be seen by anyone till I could leave at their next stop. Exhausted I fall asleep sitting on the floor my legs pulled up against my chest and my head resting against the bed.
*나는정말미안해요 = I’m truly sorry.
*그들은나를알아볼것입니다 = The will recognize me.
