Andrew of Lea

Andy was standing on the corner, looking up at the starry night. He was thinking about had transpired in the ballroom. Why would Princess Emberlyn bring him out to dance with her?
He was so lost into his thoughts that he nearly jumped ten feet when he heard Princess Emberlyn's voice call his name, "Andy?"
He turned and saw Princess Emberlyn coming around the corner. He regained his composure and smiled politely at her, "Good evening, Your Highness."
She stopped in front of him and stared at him. She was once again taken aback by his masculine beauty. His pale skin seemed to glow underneath the night sky and the light of the torch. She shook her romantic thoughts and asked him, "Why did you leave? Do you not like dancing?"
Andy took a breath and said, "Not really. Why did you pull me into that? Surely there were others that would love to dance with you. The princes your father invited."
Princess Emberlyn, feeling bold, took a step closer to him, "Because you looked so lonely, standing there alone. I just wanted you to join in on the fun."
Andy laughed a little, "I'm fine, Your Highness. I'm only a knight. Prince Peter is a royal prince. He seemed like he wanted a dance with you. He might be looking for you now."
Princess Emberlyn came even closer to him and touched his cheek. Andy shuddered a gasp when he felt the loving warmth of her hand. She brushed nose against his and he felt the warmth of her breath on his lips when she whispered, "So what?"
She touched her lips to his and Andy didn't know what to make of this. As much as he wanted this, he gently pushed her away. He held her arms and stared at her, "What are you doing? This isn't right. You should be with a prince!"
"And yet, it's you, a knight, that has my heart!" She argued. Andy's eyes widened in shock. She wasn't saying it, was she?
"W-What?" Andy said.
"I love you, Andrew," Princess Emberlyn told him. "I've loved you since I first saw you. Every time I see you, my heart gets warm. When you touch my hand, I feel this wonderful tingling throughout my whole being. I love your body, your loyalty to the kingdom, your innate nobility. I dream of you every night and I pray that one day I would be with you for-"
She didn't have time to finish because she was being pulled forward to Andy and then into a deep kiss. He held her in his arms and she wrapped her arms around his neck.
They pulled apart and Andy looked at the princess lovingly, "I love you with all my life. You had all of me on that first day as well. I was just too much of a coward to admit it. That I couldn't-"
Now it was Princess Emberlyn's turn to interrupt, "You admitted it now. That's what matters. Now kiss me! I'll die from desire if you don't!"
Andy obeyed and pulled her in for another kiss. The thoughts of the ball, royal obligations, everything was forgotten between them. All what mattered to them now was that they were finally alone together to freely express their love.
However, their privacy was interrupted when they heard Genevieve's voice calling from around the corner, "Princess Emberlyynn! Where are you? Your family wants you to come back inside! They said it's important!"
They pulled apart once again and Andy sighed, "And now is the time that I lose you forever."
Princess Emberlyn was silent for a moment and then said in a low voice, "Wait here for a minute and then came back inside. I'm sure Father wants you there as well."
Andy nodded and Princess Emberlyn quickly left him. Andy waited for a minute and was started to head back until he heard something. Something like a low breathing of a creature. He slowly left his spot, still trying to hear where the sound was coming from.
