Love Me Till It Hurts

Prologue

Amy is 23 years old. She is French and lives in a quiet little town in the Paris region with her parents and two younger brothers. At the end of a school education without a hitch or almost, she is preparing to go back to university in a prestigious school of photography in Los Angeles. A thoughtful choice for which she had to fight with her mother for a long time to agree to let her go to the other end of the planet. But Amy is a trouper and was able to reassure her about her intentions to be very studious once there.

Apart from all this, Amy has another passion. The music. And especially rock and metal. Since she was a little girl, she has been immersed in this universe thanks to her father who introduced her to the classics of the genre (Metallica, Motörhead, Alice Cooper ...). Over the years, this has allowed her to forge a very rich and dense musical culture, because it also opens her mind to other musical styles. She has learned to play the guitar alone and is starting to have a very good level that makes many of her friends who take lessons diligently jealous with envy. She has, so to speak, music in her blood and this is felt when she starts playing or composing.

As for love, Amy is a bit unlucky. She has the gift to fall on perfect idiots, as evidenced by her last story with Alexis, the high school bad boy who ended up having her in his nets. She had been attracted by his rebel side and talker. But their story has ended pretty bad.

Her best friend, Ellie, is the little sister she never had. More than a confidante, they always do everything together. They met each other in 5th grade and have not left each other since. She is preparing to do like Amy her comes back to school to the New York Film Academy in L.A after the summer holidays.

Ellie also plays guitar. They had formed a band together but didn't hold because they had little time to devote to their respective work. But they are far from having drawn a line and hope to be able to reform one during their studies in Los Angeles. The only problem with their departure is that Ellie is madly in love with Matt, with whom she has been dating for two years now. And the young man is financially unable to accompany them to the United States.
