Too Young to Fall in Love.

A couple days later, we’re parked outside tonight’s venue. We’re in Alabama I think, I’m not sure. All these states and cities are starting to fade together. It’s hard to keep track where we are or where we’re going.

While the other girls are inside watching the boys with their soundcheck, I’m outside the bus with my yoga mat and Dirty Heads playing in the background. It’s been a crazy couple weeks and I think a little yoga session is what I need to balance my life out. Plus it’ll be good for my muscles which have been aching due to sleeping in the moving coffin.

Just as I go into a downward dog position, I hear footsteps behind me. “This is certainly a view I missed.” I don’t need to look to know it’s Ashley. “So yoga is more interesting than seeing your boyfriend do his soundcheck? And I’m pretty sure the background music for most yoga sessions isn’t Medusa by Dirty Heads.”

“Listening to tropical rainforest sounds will only put me to sleep.” I tell him as I slowly go into my next pose. “Besides, I’m not your average yogie.”

“You’re not the average anything.” He chuckles. “So you excited for tomorrow? We’ll be in Atlanta.”

“I’m excited and nervous.” I admit before going into my next pose, facing him. “My family had to deal with the last time you were in my life and while my mom still likes you, my baby brother is just as protective as Gunner and Decker. And we’ll my step-sister Charity will be all over you like usual.”

“Jealous?” He smirks, already knowing the answer to that.

“Yea I’m totally jealous of that meth head.” I roll my eyes. “She’s the worst kind of cliche. She’s white trash, addicted to meth and is still a stripper despite having three kids and a husband. Plus she fucks any client that gives her the time of day. She’s the kind of stripper that gives decent strippers a bad name.”

“Easy there.” Ashley laughs. “The point of yoga is to calm yourself, you’re just working yourself up now. Let’s forget about Charity and get back to the good things that’ll come out of this trip.”

“Besides partying with you guys and seeing Angel, there is no good things that’ll come out of this trip. I’m going to spend our time in ATL listening to my mom say I told you so and how she was right about us being made for each other and all that shit.”

“We can’t have her being right, can we?” He walks over and puts his arms around my waist; pulling me out of whatever pose I was doing. “We’re going to have fun in your hometown. And maybe I can get a private show in our hotel room.” He whispers the second part in my ear before kissing my neck.

“If yoga pants gets you this excited, I can’t wait to see what my outfit tonight does.” I giggle as he continues to kiss my neck, only stopping when I pull away. “Nothing good is going to come out of this trip. Unless Jake and Angel hook up, but that’s the only good thing I see happening.”

“So what are you envisioning?”

“All of us getting trashed, a few fights, Andy and CC attempting to pole dance with Remington and me and the girls having to play babysitters for the rest of the night, despite us being as equally wasted.”

“I’m sure everything will be fine.” He assures me. “It’ll be nice, wholesome fun.”

“You do realize my mom owns a fucking strip club right?” I laugh. “It’ll be anything but wholesome fun…”
